Hi! It's not! I will do the GT World Championship as well. The release of Le Mans Ultimate and the expectations that I had to spend a lot of time on setting that up for online hosting have pushed back some other stuff. Now that LMU doesn't seem to get this anytime soon, it will get back to more regular vids again, including Sports Car GT :)

I don't think I ever have tried the actual V-Rally 1. The PS1 original. I grew up with an N64, so I had the V-Rally '99 Edition which was a special edition for N64. I have some cousins who had PS1, they got V-Rally 2 as a present, so that one I did play a bit!

Ye, most of the track that I and/or my friends made back when we spent loads of time on Horizon 5 was made with online-play in mind, without AI. So to a certain degree it was done in a very quick, simple way to just get it done. Appreciate the feedback!

Hey ho man! Did not expect you to watch this after I had streamed it. It is a lack of half-experimental single player experiences in racing/sports games these days. Then again, there was so many more random games released before. Indie games today isn't big enough to have such features, and there's rarely ambitious low-budget studio games. I mean, Milestone keep pushing out games, and I guess they could've possibly gotten some positives by halving the yearly games they release, as it seems to be quite a lot of "almost" ideas that are added and removed from those games. Many years ago you could start your own team in MotoGP, and while you were doing MotoGP, you also had a Moto2 and Moto3 team, with hired riders etc. That was then removed, and somewhat implemented again, and now I have lost track on how it works in those games :P Anyway, as TH-camrs say. Stay tuned for more parts to this series, and other old games that's not great, but has some interesting features! WoopWoop! :)

Hmm, when you mention it, DiRT Rally 1 often managed to look really good in unedited screenshots!

It's a small town called Elverum in Norway, where I grew up. Sadly they didn't get a championship-round this year. So no snowy trip for me in 2024.

That's a 350-ish HP RWD Turbo-Volvo. They claimed it had 500HP+ in a news article about the driver making a comeback after 24 years. And while it has more power than needed, I doubt it has that much.

Indeed! Too bad the helmet-camera got overheated on the second stint, as I was a couple of seconds quicker per lap in that stint -.-

Same! And I thought it was a car that was so amazing based on the AI speed. The actual results outside of the US in real life weren't quite the same.

I actually have not tried Monte Carlo yet! It is this weeks RaceDepartment rally though. Do you remember what stage? If you do, I'll include it in the event ^^

Hahaha! I did consider checking the other languages, but I just went with the idea that they dubbed him/used subtitles with the same English dub. At least that confirms my theory that Tarquini did speak English in the video!

Hi! The plan is to complete the whole career mode of the game :-) so still some parts left! Might combine those parts with some other older games, we'll see :)

With the mechanism for "scaring" drivers in the game. Maybe that should've been included as well. Show off to get extra confidence or something like that.

Btw, I think the squeak is probably all the metal (hopefully not, but roll cage, and definitely, the uncomfortable seats, the lighter weight of whatever panels they replace for sheet metal or aluminum, probably sheet metal 😂). Not everyone can afford a 300k, average price, of a top of the line drift,race car or Baja, Rock climbing, off-road truck. It’s all about the experience brotha! And everyone without rich parents gotta start on different playing levels. God loves ya brotha or sister.

Yup. They somehow call it "joystick" in the readme, but they do list up Microsoft Sidewinder Force Feedback Wheel & Pedals as one of the supported devices. And there is a good old "enable Force Feedback" option in the controller setting in the game. Like I said earlier though, it's been a heck of a long time since I've played it with anything other than a keyboard, but I don't see why it shouldn't work these days :)

Yup. I started out with a DFGT, have moved on to G29 now, but yes. It supports a lot. The "older" stuff is supported native. The newer high tech through different addons that's included if needed :)

Though. I should say. It's not perfect at all, it's not being updated by the community in the same way as Richard Burns Rally. And tbh, I am not sure if all the sites that.provided addons etc. are up still. I only use the "SCGT Step" patch from 2005 (IIRC) now, and play it with a keyboard like I did as a little kid back when it was released. So maybe I was a bit too optimistic in my previous answer.

@@junhaojun It's the old sidewinder, right? That should work right out of the box, as it was one of the modern wheels when the game was released. ^^
