As a mainland Chinese, I agree that the English proficiency level still has a long way to go in China. Improvement is in need, especially in cities like Shanghai which is known as an international metropolis. It’s important to understand English cuz it’s lingua franca and is essential to international business and tourism. Also it would much improve the experience if Gaode Map can offer English service, since Google Map doesn’t work in China, and if credit cards are more widely accepted.

After getting my first internship in the university, I gradually unmask some truth of working environment which is unlike that of in the social media I learned about.

Some Things To Consider: -- Do you have a job? -- Is that a job that can bring home a nice steady paycheck which can support a family of 2+ (you, your spouse and the kids)? It is best to be able to live on only one person's income, because if you have to depend on both parents' income, then that plan will leave you with very little wiggle room for savings and investments. One parent's income, at best, should be able to afford the family's lifestyle, and the other parent's income can be saved up for a rainy day. -- Are you married? If you are married, then that is a BIG sign that you will be committed to ONE partner for life and the shared offspring. If not, then be prepared for single parenthood. -- Are you reproductively healthy? Reproduction comes easiest if you are already super healthy, fit, active, good-looking. If you have some kind of deficit, then you just have to work a bit harder to get what you want. And that applies to men and women and their bodies.
