Aspergillus & Aspergillosis
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 1 มี.ค. 2016
Aspergillus is a group of fungi that are extremely common throughout the world living on all the organic detritus generated by life and death - mainly in the plant world. Only a few species can grow at our body temperature, but those that can can infect us, usually if our immune systems are defective or in the case of some people who have immune suppression in order to have a transplant (e.g. bone marrow transplant), no immune system at all.
If they get a foothold they can continue to grow and will cause aspergillosis in rare cases.

Long-term azole therapy is the mainstay of treating chronic pulmonary aspergillosis, but some patients harbour azole-resistant Aspergillus strains, which often carry CYP51A mutations. CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing was used to create strains with one or more mutations seen in clinical isolates to determine whether they were responsible for resistance, and then used molecular docking to show the mec...

Wow, what a strong woman you must be. Thank you for sharing your story. I am trying to diagnosed a friend of mine and I think it is mold or yeast in his lungs. Disregard if this is offensive to you... I have no idea what your religious beliefs are but I was enthralled with this sermon and his other one on healing...I actually have seen earth shattering healing with one prayer so I am I to this sermon and the other one on his site. I have no idea why I am sharing this as it could make others made. th-cam.com/users/liveHkSCtYe2C0Y?si=uGkUjS6WOHifC9Gf I hope someone gets out of it what I did.
Is she still alive in oct 2024?
What is the proper way to diagnoses ? I'm in america.
I am dying of COPD, extreme asthma and ABPA but my respiratory consultant seems to know nothing about it and will not help me and keeps telling others there is nothing wrong with me despite 12 ambulance call outs and 2 a&e admissions and a CT scan with spots on my lungs in the last 6 months. Every morning I scrape fungus out of my mouth. I am dying but my respiratory consultant Dr Kamarth cares not a jot- I would be better helped in Africa which says it all about the state of the NHS in the UK...
That's terrible i hope you recover
@@NebosvodGonzalez I got covid and my respiratory department are refusing all messages- they tell me to tell it to the complaints department, the NHS in Norfolk is evil and full of murderers.
I have been diagnosed with ABPA but my respiratory consultant at my NHS hospital will not help me and its like he doesn't know what I have- the NHS are negligent and I am dying and nobody cares- I wish I was an immigrant as somebody may care about me in the NHS.
ABPA is extremely difficult to treat, as it's an allergy and very little is known about it actually works. Unfortunately, all research on fungal diseases is extremely underfunded and awareness is low, even amongst doctors. This is not at all a problem limited to the NHS, and in fact, we are lucky enough in the UK to have an amazing diagnostics centre in Bristol and a centre dedicated to treating aspergillosis in Manchester
I have ABPA but my respiratory consultant doesn't care and will not help me- I have had 12 ambulance call outs and 2 A&E admissions with my CT scan showing spots on the lungs but, unlike Jacqueline, nobody gives a sh... The NHS are a joke.
Is there any chance of cure for a healthy 40’s male non smoker healthy immune system and no lung problems besides chronic pulmonary aspergillosis???
Is there hope of a cure? I was just prescribed Intraconozole and from what I understand it has 50/50 cure rate. I believe I was infected for 3 years so mine is classified as chronic. Prior I went to 3 doctors about it and all blew me off.
Can I ask you what that last medication was. I am just starting this journey. Also is there hope of a cure?
After struggling with Aspergillus Sinusitis, my uncle found remarkable relief through IAFA Ayurveda’s natural solutions. Within just 3 months, his symptoms significantly improved. Their holistic approach truly made a difference. We are grateful for their effective and compassionate care.

God bless you ❤ I’ll pray for your healing
Watching this because I will have my sputum collection tomorrow.
Same I have been trying since midnight 😂
can relate to this so much, thank you
What meds are you taking if you do not mind me asking as i suffer from ABPA as well
Continue to have frequent Chest Infection’s. I reacted badly to Itraconazole with Severe Hypertension & Liver Function deterioration. Just had IgG serum antibodies taken- 146mg/ml. What are my option’s.
It helped! Thank you
I cannot understand her. At all. Her English is terrible.
It didnt do much for me!.
What antifungal therapy is she getting, she doesn’t say what is working for her?
super helpful! thank you. Wish me luck tomorrow :D
Excellent lecture
My mother got this and we were surprised as to how fast it spread from a severe headache to bulging of her eye to losing her eye in a matter of day. It was a relatively early diagnosis and treatment started with amphoterrible that really had severe side effects with no stop in progression of the disease. Voriconazole also didn't help. It kept spreading until she got hydrocephalus and was in a state of semi consciousness. Eventually we started on itraconazole and alternative treatments and continued for a couple of years with VP shunt installed to get ber consciousness back. She has recovered although bad ridden with multiple nerve issues particularly affecting her speech. She is a centre of our world and it really turned upside down after the disease. But as a family you have to keep fighting and outcome will be in your favour.
How is your mom? What treatment helped her most ? I hope she is ok
@@amysantos-qh4id itraconazole. Also like I said we tried alternative medicines (herbs) to treat her. She is ok now but bedridden. The reason why I shared this as a post was because we had experience how debilitating the disease can be. Our whole family got tougher and fought it with my mom who has always been a fighter and eventually overcame the disease. The problem with fungal infections is that there are not many meds and it’s anyone’s guess which would work. Also one more thing: doctors recommended debridement but since it was near the optic nerve our neurosurgeon didn’t opt for it. Hope the information helped in some way. How sinuses were cleared by an ENT.
@iftikhariqbal3222 what were the symptoms? My father is coughing up blood which is happening due to aspergilosis fungal lung infection
How can you realize that you have something like that in your body?
The best thing I did to improve my quality of life was megadose vitamin D (with vitamin k2 and magnesium) this rocketed my energy levels and drastically improved my immune system resulting in far fewer chest infections.
I surfing ABPA aspergillosis

Is there a possibility that this cannot be detected on a chest CT? I’ve been told that I have some benign nodules, some airway thickening and a lot of inflammation. Other than that they can’t tell me anything, other than get another chest CT in 3-6 months…. Great, what am I supposed to do about this horrible, chronic cough all day every day?! No help whatsoever! 🤬 I have to take Delta 8 CBD just to ease some of the coughing, which doesn’t take it away completely. I also take a bedtime Delta 8 so that I can at least sleep at night. I have heard that anti fungals really don’t do anything for Aspergillosis. I will be talking to my Naturopath next week to have him test my sputum and if I have Aspergillosis I’m going to find out what he thinks is the best option for treatment. I cannot believe with as advanced as we are and all the “medical advances” that we can’t find real relief and healing from this! Blows my mind!
Aspergillosis is only treated with antifungals..... It's a fungal disease. It may not show up on CT but can be better detected through sputum samples or biopsy during bronchoscopy. What kind of symptoms are you having?
Thanks a lot, helped me out. Got away from Budesonid during my Itraconazole treatment and do much better now. It feels like my Immunsystem got back and is fighting the Aspergillosis. Thanks!
Sir hindi mai bnao video
My brother was recently diagnosed with this, but he is not responding well to the treatment. It seems that this fungus is very strong.
I have been diagnose with pulmonary aspergillosis since 2021 . Can you lend me a help so i can become normal again .
will certainly be taking this information to my sputum test tomorrow. thank you
Truth is we’re all in trouble of aspergillosis and the new water molds like pythium Insidious ( fungus like but not true fungus) me and my girl do sick no help at all. Most drs don’t understand black mold in homes can be deadly. This dr is so nice wish I new him.
The current guidelines of not testing until it's too late, and even then not treating until there is organ damage are criminal and destroy countless lives. All those doctors who are completely incapable of listening and thinking with their own head will burn in hell. Don't fool yourselves, you actively make the choice to kill people or condemn them to a lifetime of misery, it's 100^% on you.
Absolutely agree and couldn’t have said it better myself! The ONLY help I’ve gotten is from Naturopathic Dr’s or Functional Medicine. I believe they will burn in Hell for it too, all about the money and in bed with big pharma! It’s sickening! 🤬 We really have to take our health into our own hands!
So what did we learn in 52 seconds? That we can't learn anything in 52 seconds.
What’s the trial drug called? My mother is currently battling MAC lung disease and Aspergillosis. She’s Currently taking voriconazole 😢
