Dave Matthews Band - Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin) from The Gorge N3 2011 (4 Sept. 2011). Oh yeah, and he's wearing a cowboy hat! Sorry about the audio; it kicks in better after about 28 sec.

Carter Beauford playing #41 in the studio for his video "Under The Table and Drumming". For those asking about his kit, you can find a full diagram and detailed listing of his gear here: www.beaufordbuddy.com/cb_drum_kit.htm
Well done 👍🏽 😊
I'm a guitar player but this video from a DVD my brother bought all those years ago completely reshaped my idea of rhythm and drumming. Also, that K custom ride he plays in the chorus is literally my favorite human made sound. It sounds like Rain 2:50 he one hands the entire kit....Carter I love you
Ты играешь сзади, чувак
I've always wondered why some left handed drummers preferred to play on right handed drumsets??
Clean
Grande Deci! Ormai mi ripeto e lo faccio volentieri "non ne sbagli una!!" Ed il video?! 💣🧨‼️ bomba‼️
Great musicians. Just wish that guy would stop singing.
why he look like he about to scuba dive
Great drummer Gay ass band Shame
I am - carter f****** jams
I grew up listening to DMB in 90’s and when I saw this after gettung interested in drums I was mesmerized. I used to watch the whole dvd on repeat back in the early 2000’s….always wanted a flat ride and bell ride to put on my left just like he would do…and a monster kit like this but though I still play I never did any of those things…his custom titanium snare drums were always awesome too!
Sick track
How beauty!
2:58 I don’t think I could do that with SIX hands lmao
A MASTER OF THE SKINS !
I could listen to just the drum track on all the DMB albums and be in my heaven. Most underrated, overlooked drummer of my generation by far. I went to their concerts to see and hear Mr. Beauford, Mr. Tinsley, and the horns. Sorry, Dave.
2:58 Still can’t wrap my head around how he’s going around the toms with one hand.
Maravilloso Carter !!!
I named my son after this man. The talent, the warm personality, the humility, the, uh, TALENT. Just 100% wow.
I couldn’t be happier to see them back on stage doing what they do best. Emily is awesome.
Absolutely love it.
Who’s still watching this in 2024? This makes me nostalgic for my high school days for real. DMB was the first concert I ever went to during my sophomore year. Dave came out and said “ya’ll smell good this evening” because there was so much weed smoke in the air. 😏
Me. Great drummer. But, I'm 60.
Greeter than Bonham or moon. Greatest drum solo ever
Great, absolutely. Greater than Bonham, no. They play two completely different styles of music. Bonham is the GOAT, the one that nearly every drummer knows and looks up to. If you ask most drummers who Carter Beauford is, they won’t know off of the top of their head.
At 3:00. Such talent
These songs are awful though. I love CB but yikes.
Insane
Just incredible
Yyyyyeeeaaaaaa!!!!!💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️💯💯💯
Just back from their annual 3 day labor day weekend at the Gorge. Older no doubt but the chops are still there. Looking forward to next year already
Either a God or a left handed playing right handed drumms. The same.
dude, 40 seconds in, PSHHHH. legend.
I wish my right hand was as good as his left.... wow!!
I would like to see him on Drumeo playing a song he never heard before
Still here in 2024
One handed fill at 2:58.. Ridiculous..
I'm proud to say the Carter went to the college in my small town in Virginia called Shenandoah University was the Shenandoah conservatory then but yes he was in Winchester Virginia for a few years and that is an incredible music school obviously you can see
My favorite is watching Carter play some ridiculous fucking drum fill, all while blowing a huge ass bubble with his gum and grinning from ear to ear. Love this man!
carter beauford one of the great drummer
There was a time when I thought this was exceptional.
what a freak!
Thiis is how pocket drumming sounds like. Wonderful drummer. Ambi is def way to learn too.
I can watch or just listen to Carter till the end of time and never stop being awed and amazed at how great he is.
Man how I love your performance. Dynamics incredible, breaks fantastic and so effortlessly done. A joy to watch !!! Multiple times ! Best regards Norman.
There’s a lot I like about this. I like how intensely he looks at his ride as to not miss a millimeter. Also he barely even uses those toms in the first couple minutes but oh how important those hits are
So much of what he plays is made possible by being a left-hand lead on a right hand kit. The only other drummer I know with that oddity is Ringo. I’m not comparing the two obviously, but many of Ringo’s drum parts are so weird because he’s a lefty on a right handed kit. Love Carter!
Transition at 3:30 is just sick.
The most musical drum line in the history in my personal opinion. I could listen to this without the rest of the song, only drums, and it would still be a fenomenal song. I've been watching this now and then for over 10 year and it gets me every time. Pure wonder!
I remember downloading this video from Ares when I was 14 and going on a trip not knowing much but feeling the magic.
❤
And he makes it look so easy...
