A little bit of this and a little bit of that ... I joined 2021, my first video was Sept 2023 as I was very apprehensive to start, but little did I know how easy it was to do, and since then though, I have made up for lost time and am loving it!
I don't have a favourite topic, but like to ring the changes according to how the fancy takes me, what I am involved at any one time and what I think you will find interesting to see, so I hope you enjoy coming along for the ride.

JAGUAR XJ X351: REMOTE CLAM-SHELL KEY FOB UPGRADE
มุมมอง 6116 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
A video yes, but primarily a slideshow of how I upgraded my Jaguar XJ X351 remote key fob. When my old original key fob remote for the 2010 Jaguar XJ X351 broke, I fixed it by moving the chip on the green motherboard along with the emergency key into a new upgraded key fob shell that I had bought for a few quid on eBay and here's how I did it.

Why don't you remove this video and try it again, doing it properly? Gosh
First off let me thank you Francisco for taking the time and trouble to leave a comment, always appreciated and great to hear another person's point of view. Secondly, if I might be so bold as to point out, this is my TH-cam video, of my personal experience on using the Judge Potato Peeler I bought and used, AND it is an honest take on how I used it and how two of us found the experience to be and the overall efficacy of the machine. Thirdly, if you don't like how I made this TH-cam video or any other ones I have made for that matter, can I respectfully suggest you don't watch them. Fourthly and last of all on the subject of the Judge Potato peeler, why don't you try making your own video on it, as I am guessing you will no doubt think it a good deal better than my effort. Enjoy the rest of your day and try to be kind, it takes less effort and can make a peoples day, wishing you all the best CCL 👍😁
wont work!!??. it peels potatoes perfectly. not half potatoes. idiot.
"Bobby dazzler"? That's a new one on me.
It's quite a common saying in my neck of the woods drsunshine1959. It is something a kin to saying 'a little cracker', or 'that's a beauty', it can also be used for something that is excellent or outstanding .Another use is as a term applied to a well dressed or turned out person as seen either by others or themselves and who would have thought such a simple expression could mean so many things eh? Thank you for leaving the comment and all the best 👍😁
@@CrazyCatLady351 Thank you for your reply. Have a great life!
Where did you get your replacement battery
Hi there, I got the batteries off eBay: 2 x 12v 75AH AGM MOBILITY SCOOTER BATTERIES , the store name is 'mobility scooter store' and here is a link to the page of the ones like I bought www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126450334448 Hope you get fixed up okay 👍😁
Dead simple but very good improvement would be to firstly cut through holes in the top piece of wood THEN glue top & bottom and clean surplus glue before it sets. Forstner bits are fine but leave an ugly cenre guide hole. Alternatively make suitable jig(s) and cut flat bottomed holes with a ROUTER.
Thank you for your comment and excellent improvement idea and tips Andy, very much appreciated 👍 Now why didn't I think of that ... 'coz I ain't no chippy right? Every day's a learning day and who says you can't teach an old dog or crazy cat lady new tricks eh? Cheers and all the best 😉
My X351 Iis the same, its a common problem on these Jags, also rattling sunroofs. Its a design fault. Enjoyed the slide show thanks. 👍👏
Absolutely agree with you Andrew, first bit of advice/warning I received when I got my X351 was about the sunroof rust and got stuck in pronto. Have you heard about Gummi Pflege for rubber protection on door seals and windows, I know many folks say it is good to help with noisy sunroofs too? I use a thin coating of lithium grease on mine, as grease was applied to the sunroof rubber seals by the previous owner, also apply lithium grease to the moving parts ready for winter. You're welcome and I'm glad you enjoyed the slide show 👍😁
I imagine all new RNLI boats come with a mosque and halal catering facilities 🤷🏻♂️
Thanks. Just what I was looking for, and well done.
My pleasure Mark, glad the video helped and I appreciate you taking the time to say so and your kind words - many thanks 👍😁
Looks like the Magpie knew it's place there. Used to have a pheasant tap on the back door for dinner. Next year he brought the family round. Mrs and kids.
Absolutely right Len, there is definitely a hierarchy amongst the birds that visit our place. Amazing about your pheasant and his family, now that really would have been a sight to see. 😁
That is quite interesting recipe. I would like to know how do you consume this
Hello there @jbhatt5920 and thank you for leaving a comment 👍 Golden Paste is quite an interesting product and the combination of turmeric and black pepper is really quite a big thing, used for a number of purposes and comes in a variety of forms, the tablet/capsule/powder being the easiest to get hold of and take I suspect. Having said that, I think that using natural products and making your own just seems the way to go for me. The paste can be taken as it is off the spoon, if you like the taste, which sadly I don't. So for me I put a small amount (~1/3 tsp) onto a strip of dry bread, fold it over like you would when making a pasty,, press it down and seal the edges giving me a little parcel that I can swallow whole helped down by a drink of tea - I take 2 of these a day as it is still early days for me. You can however, put Golden paste into soups, stews, salad dressings, curries or any thing else like that, it really is only limited by your imagination and if you do a search online, you will find lots of useful ideas to help you out ... best of luck! 😁
You are the best, thank you! I love my XJ 5.0 X351, however the roof already has A LOT of rust. I'm afraid that if I start scratching the rust away that I'll be peeling through the roof frame. Oh dear, I guess only one way to find out hehe. Thank you for the instructions.
You're very kind and most welcome. The XJ X351 is a stunning motor that's for sure, both inside and out. Good luck with the sunroof and I do hope it only looks bad and doesn't go too deep when you start to scratch the surface 👍😁
please get rid of the tacky music.
Thank you for leaving a comment @Sumosan4 sadly one can't please everyone when it comes to taste in music. I make no apology here on my choice of music to accompany the video, but you might be interested to know this was only my 3rd attempt at publishing something on TH-cam and apart from still being quite nervous about the whole thing, everything was still very much a learning curve. Apart from that I hope you found the clip at least of some interest and maybe next time you come across a video where the music is offensive to your ears, can I suggest you turn to volume off and watch it with something more to your liking playing. Enjoy the rest of your day and wishing you all the best CCL. 😁
Another stunning video
Many thanks for the lovely comment, very much appreciated for sure 😁
what a brilliant video Gina, so informative and the quality excellent ❤
Well chuffed you liked it and thank you for the great comment 👍😍
I will be visiting here in Sep 2024 - thanks for the video.
My pleasure, and I'm sure you will have a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoy the visit, even more so than we did, as the scenery should be more lush in September than when we called there. Have a great trip and take it steady on those winding roads 👍😁
Not bad at all for a first walk. Look very content there. Well behaved dogs and a cracking looking smoke.
Thanks Len 👍Queenie did make a little protest when she plonked her btm down and made a half hearted refusal to continue. Cannop is a very popular spot, and the dogs love it there, goes on right up deep into the forest. Oh yes, me old mukka doesn't go anywhere without a good smoke 🤣🤣🤣
Thank you Crazy cat lady, I will need to watch a few times before I get it right. Clear and concise step by step instructions . 😊
You are very welcome Annemarie, I am glad you found the video helpful. It is not always easy to grasp the setting up of new gadgets such as this, as I know from personal experience. There's no hurry after all, and everything will come together and click into place all in good time. 😁
Fantastic footage, best resolution I have seen 👍😍
Thank you for the lovely comment annemarie, on both counts ... very much appreciated for sure! 👍😁
OMG You saved my life..Thanks a million❤
Ah bless you, that's absolutely my pleasure and I'm well chuffed you found the video helpful 👍😁
I was about to order one of these. Glad I watched your video first 👍well done 👏
Thank you ardentizzy7720 😁 I'm glad the clip gave you food for thought 👍 I'm sure some folks get on with the peeler, but we were not two of them 'tis true 😉
Do not cut them in half the machine works by rolling the potatoes over the blade, by cutting the spuds in half they will just bounce around.
Thank you for the tip @iprangem, anyone seeing this video that has the peeler, I hope they read your comment as it will undoubtedly be worth a try 👍 😁
That looks like a nice relaxing spot. Never seen one where you can watch the fish through the doors. I might..... na better not. More digging.
We were lucky Len, no digging for us, as we inherited the pond and fish when we purchased the bungalow 😁
Gt😂
Thanks Joshua, much appreciated 👍😁
Looked a great day for a drive. That place was heaving. Edited didnt want to spoil the video.
Really was Len, and first drive out in weeks, so we really appreciated it. Place was packed to the brim, cars and people every where you looked, but coming from a seaside town myself, I am used to it I guess and I do like to see smiley happy folks out and about enjoying themselves.
Thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏
My pleasure Miguel, so glad you found the video helpful 👍😁
So cute, I wouln't have been able to choose either.
I have to admit, I didn't hesitate in saying yes, much faster than the gent from Del Monte, that's for sure. 😁
Was six kids in the house when I used to peel spuds. Worst was Pie Mash day. Felt like it was army punishment.
I can just imagine Pie Mash day, I was one of 5 kids so remember very well the joys of egg 'n' home-made chips Saturdays, Lucky for me though I don't think I had the spud peeling duties, as being No 4, I reckon that was probably passed onto my big sisters, not big brother though, as he seemed to get away with just about everything. My peeling duties now though, are definitely a punishment 🤣🤣🤣
Lol
That just about says it all ... love that @catbuilder5474! 😍
Hi I did mine the same but dident use backing paper, I will do again with backing paper.Thank's for video.
Hi there @catbuilder5474 and you're very welcome, glad the video was helpful. I'm not very handy with a spanner, but this was one fairly easy job that I could have a go at, and certainly worth doing in preventing the tin worm spreading and saving me a few bob from having it done professionally. 👍😁
I saw one of these made back in the very early 1900s, unfortunately defunct, so the IDEA has been around a long time. Makes me wonder if it's just a problem with this model or if they ever really worked at all.
Thanks for the comment @brt5273 and I love that you saw one back in the early 1900s and are still around to tell the tale! My friend in the video had a hand operated 'rumbler' which worked brilliantly compared to this machine, she also owned 2 chip shops way back in the day and they each had massive professional rumbling machines, so I guess they can work and no wonder she got a tad vexed with this particular model. All was well after a cuppa and a few deep breaths though I'm glad to say 👍😉
Excellent - I was really struggling to replace the door and was worried about breaking it. Your video put me straight - thanks! I wonder how many 'spare' doors they sell? For motovlogging, I decided to use the DJI Mic 2 (wireless) instead of the wired mic/plug-in adapter which works, but a faff compared to wireless.
Thank you Andy, and I'm glad you found the clip useful 👍 Must be method in their madness, good business tactic! The DJI Mic 2 is very popular and a good choice, with my Devonian accent though, I think I'm safer using text rather than vocals in my videos 😉
That has come up amazing. Well worth the effort. I've been told ours needs doing now. I'll get round to it.
Thanks Len 👍 I wonder who told you that then? All in good time eh, all in good time 🙂
TH-cam was meant for such helping videos.
I'm glad you found the video helpful @mottotravel, and thank you for saying so, much appreciated. 👍😁
Thank you!
You are very welcome - I'm glad you found it helpful. 👍😁
Except that, archoil does nto contain all ingredients that make difference between bad and premium.
Thank you
My pleasure, and glad it was helpful 👍😁
Hi, I live in Tokyo, and we have an 18 year old brown toy poodle named Queenie. First time we have found a fellow Queenie owner. Very cute. Thank you for your post.
Hello there, and greetings from sunny Exmouth, England and I'm glad you like the post. 😁 What an amazing coincidence and I love that you have a Queenie too. I was at Cruft's one year when the brown toy poodle Graco Hazelnut won Best In Show, and what an absolute stunner and truly well deserved. Marvellous your Queenie is 18, what a grand age and all credit to your love and good care. All the very best 😊
Wtf are these vocals and lyrics LMAO
Thank you for taking the time out to share your thoughts PRINC3SS, much appreciated for sure. Enjoy the rest of your day, stay safe and keep happy. 👍😁

Archoil 6900P does not push the octane rating, so you have to go for premium
Thank you @avini for your reply, as you have sent me on quite the learning curve 👍😉Yes you are right in that Archoil AR6900-P Max does not directly increase the octane level per se. but then again as far as I'm aware, neither do the additives in premium fuels in my opinion. The reasons I use the Archoil additives are for everything good it does for the engine and my pocket 😁 As I understand it the octane rating measures a fuel’s ability to resist knocking or pre-ignition in an engine and knock occurs when fuel ignites prematurely in the engine cylinder, leading to efficiency loss and potential engine damage. When you have higher octane levels there is a higher resistance to knock. Depending on where you live, different petrol/gasoline may start off with a different octane level, so while the additives will improve overall quality and performance whether intrinsic at the pump or extrinsically added, the octane level will be the same. In the UK we have 2 petrol levels: E10 (95 octane) and E5 (97+ octane) where I believe in the USA there are 3: 87 (regular), 89 (mid-grade), and 91-93 (premium). Which petrol/gasoline one you put in your tank will dictate the octane level and not the additive used, different for diesel though. Thanks again @avini, for pointing the difference out with petrol Archoil AR6900-P MAX 👍😁
Thank you so much. I had removed it to attach the expensive microphone adaptor, and of course that defeats its waterproofing and makes it bulkier. I then realised it was so much simpler to use a UsbC adaptor to 3.5mm jack for microphone.
You are very welcome Robert, I'm so pleased you found the clip helpful. 😁 Good points about the microphone adaptor, first the cost and second on it being bulky. I too went for the UsbC - 3.5mm jack for an external microphone. 👍The one that seemed to be recommended when I was on the look out, and that I purchased a couple of was the Movo UCMA-1 Female 3.5mm TRS Microphone Adapter Cable.
Tremendous I was sure it would snap off and like most things… once you know how - it is easy, many thanks.
You are so right @simplysimulator, after a bruised thumb and playing a game of tiddly winks with the side door, easy-peasy when the penny finally drops 😅You are most welcome and I'm chuffed you found the clip helpful 👍
What a legend. Thank you so Much. 👍
Ah thank you @leslieboom689. You are very welcome and so glad you found the clip helpful 👍 I've not had the DJI A 4 all that long, but loving it so far, hope you get some great action footage on yours 😁
Glad I came across this video! I have a 2009 MX-5 (petrol) and I have been a big fan of Archoil for years as well. One of the best additives on the market. I currently use Seafoam (only available on amazon/ebay) to clean the fuel tank (which i'm thinking to change for the Archoil in this video :) ) and also to do the flush before changing the engine oil every time, which actually leaves it spotless every time when new oil goes in. I use the Archoil ar9200 V2 as an engine oil additive and it makes so much difference as well 🙌
That's great @MrOriol24, I'm chuffed you found it useful. I never new about the Archoil engine oil additive, and have just started to look into it, more reading to do on that one. Thanks for the heads-up, much appreciated especially for the Jag as she's a tad fussy and needs a bit more cosseting. I am active on www.jaguarforum.com so will be sure to spread your good advice there. Cheers matey 👍😁
Is really a nightmare to put the door back. Thank you so much for teaching us how to put it back.
I know exactly what you mean @Beepbeep113, you are very welcome and glad that the clip was helpful 👍😁
Sod those little roads. Hate to do then in season.
Hah! You have a good point Len, what with all the folks about and the added risk of a serious amount of backing up to be done, makes getting to these beautiful places quite the nightmare for sure.
I would mine having only one shorthair Male bulldog puppy
Hello there Chrissy and thank you for leaving a comment. One would be lovely and the boys can be big scrummy pups, even when they are adults, our George was 😉 We had 5 at one time, sadly we don't have any at all know, but lots of brilliant memories of happy times that we shared with them over the years. They are such a wonderful breed, but they do take quite a bit of looking after, what with all those wrinkles amongst other things ... all part of their magic and charm 🐶😁
Magnificent dogs. Just gorgeous.
Thank you @bluejupiter100 , we are chuffed you think so and they certainly were our pride and joy 👍😁
Wow that's informative. And a really nice car I will add. On a serious note folks, going to back up the cat lady here. I did test it over some months and it's true.
Thanks for the endorsement Len 👍No two ways about it, that is one mighty fine Jaguar you have there, stunning to look at inside and out! All credit to you for keeping your big cat in the prime of condition ... kudos to you, superb job 😻
I want Gradan black colour Papi
Good choice @RevRamesh-zd5mc 👍 There was a time we might have been able to help with more than some advice, but sadly we stopped breeding Great Danes over 10 years ago now. The best advice I can offer to help if you live in the UK, is to check out The Kennel Club, lots of information on their website and even help with finding puppies too. www.thekennelclub.org.uk/ Best of luck with your search. 🙂
