WATCH THIS BEFORE YOU BUY A JUICED HYPER SCORPION
มุมมอง 54K4 ปีที่แล้ว
UPDATE TO THIS POST BELOW: I'm not a e-bike reviewer, but I just got my Hyper Scorpion built and wanted to put up some initial reactions to the the Hyper. First, I ordered my Hyper off the pre-sale on Indigogo, by the time I clicked "buy" I had done a ton of research and figured I had a pretty good idea of what I was getting. I watched every update video Juiced posted as the bike was being buil...
I want this bike send me your add.&phone number.i like .
N.o nikumbh konark soliteir 203 Vadvali kalyan .near a ward office.send on this adder.
The shape of the battery looks like sh!t
Eco = economy mode just a heads up
Scoot had this correct--it really should just have pegs. Lose the pedals to save a little weight and janglies.
Bought one of these second. Not my first e bike, but definitely my first e bike in this power range.
You're putting some low energy out there. Had to turn it off.
I see this is a couple years old so I’m guessing they made some changes. Got mine this week and it had about 4 different books to describable in detail everything from set up, to maintenance, to operation and very in depth book on the electronic monitor alone. Also included QR codes for anything else you could possibly need. This isn’t going to be the best bike for everyone. I feel like if you don’t have atleast basic motorcycle skills then this bike could get you hurt unless you keep it down under 1. I love their customer service and have a ripcurrent S on the way from my son next week.
Thinking of getting this since it’s on close out sale for my son.. next week probably. Let me know how’s the bike holding up .thx
Negatives aside, Juiced Hyper Scorpion now $1899 with 1000W, 52V 19.2AH, 30+mph, MAgs, Rack, Fender, 180mm Hyd Disc Brakes, USB, Alarm, and more!
I was really considering the hyper scorpion but I just had a nagging feeling that there service sucked. And surprise after reading and watching on TH-cam I was correct. It does have a lot of very cool things. But I’m going to go for the Magicycle Deer. It may not be as fast ( Hey I’m 70 ) . Thanks for a real honest review something these days that’s hard to find….

I’ve had zero problems with customer service. Other than waiting for them to open on the west coast, I have always personally talked to a person and been walked thru steps and things sent overnight to me. When they got the video of fedex dumping my bike and the very small dent it left on the headlight, they immediately got a new one out to me even tho the old one still worked fine. The only legit thing people should complain about is the nagging brake rotor and pad issue but it’s such an easy fix. No way I would pass this bike up because of that.
You pointed out some nice things in your video! Did you ever mention the shifter problem to them? Does it actually shift using the left grip? Thanks!

@@johnw65 Thank you for the update!!!
@@myemail2005 You're welcome, I think it's a great bike for the price!
I have a suspicion that all these e bike companies are like car dealers except all their products are off the same shelf and made in China.
After watching this you are kind of petty
the gear shifter works!
Excellent review!!
Thank you for posting the video and I just read your update. May i ask what bike you would have picked in retrospect?
Great video. I’m done with this company.
Boomer 😆
I can't even finish the video because it's just complaining about menial shit a simple Google search could answer.
I have one loving it.
Thank you for this review, if we're investing a good amount instruction are necessary for us noobies and that gear shift upside down SMH that made me drop it off my list. All valid points great job!
This is old bro. They don't come like that anymore. Now they come with a right side up shifter.
is it ok to ride in the rain? Ill be runnung in the rain and want to be safe
I’m still buying it
it's built with a heavy frame to target heavier riders 250 plus. that's all I can think of why it's so bulky.
you probably got a returned bike. that's why u didn't have everything or the handle was on wrong lol
Did you do any research on this bike at all before you bought it? Or did you just hit order on the first one you saw?
So it must be true that China has no concept in the manufacturing process of what quality control is. How they're able to build a rocket send stuff to space is beyond me. Like someone mentioned before steer clear of this bike😨
I'm 5'61/2". My leg extension was insufficient. I raised the seat by about an inch using M6 spacers and replacing the nylok nuts with M6 cap screws. It feels a lot better. I'm sure many of you have hit upon this solution. Other than the minor hassle I think it's a pretty darn cool bike, one I can convince the local gendarmes is legal under our DMV rules. (Scorpion X owner)
I have a juiced hyperscrambler 2 which has a lot of the issues you mention. I was aware of those before buying. BUT I was looking for an electric moped. I LOVE mine. For an actual eBike I love the Priority. That is an actual very nice bike with a Bosch mid drive and a gates carbon belt. Similar cost to my "moped" though...
I bet they’re made in China.
I bought a Scorpion X for my dad (I have an Ariel X52v). I absolutely hate the Juiced bike in comparison to my Ariel.
Nice, honest, no bullshit consumer advice with zero arses kissed. About time somebody told me the things I want to know. gave a thumbs up and subbed. Thank you and a big up from over here in England.
I bought one, before watching this video. TY for posting. Not sure much of this is valid anymore, as it is almost 2 years old. We bought ours last year (21)...Assembly was EASY (most of it was already together when shipped accept for a few pieces). Instructions were fine. Shifter was fine. Packing was snug, complete, amazing. I road it within 30 minutes of unpacking, and for MANY miles. It's something I ride now a number of times a week. No issues! Big is good IMHO. It feels solid on the side of the road. The manual is pretty good and as a "never had an e-bike before" person, I figured it out pretty quickly, as well as my wife (less experienced on bikes). I will say I did use road bike experience to assemble this for sure. But its not hard. Much of this bike is like a regular bike, just bigger. The one thing I will say, its not a "performance" bike. Seat position is VERY low, even with booster seat, and you can't really ride this thing hard. But why would you I suppose...
They did it n you bought it a little ding here a little di g there wrong instructions send it back help us consumers out don't accept damaged products Bidens showing u how cheap he is damaged goods not good it's not a good bike if it's damaged is it are u a democratic
"Hey guys i bought an e-moped and I'm very dissappointed that it is a moped.."
I purchased this bike 1yr ago and I would not recommend it. After 14 months it broke due to electric component failure. Im an avonics specalist with a major airline and so have training and experiance working with electrical components and systems. This is build with cheap parts in China. Specifically the battery terminals and connections are unsafe and will burn which is a mjor safety concern. Mine bike failed and Juiced bikes was even aware of the manufacturing flaw but took no steps to fix it. Please see other youtube videos documenting this dangerous issue.
Were you able to fix the gear shifter being upside down?
GREAT REVIEW
When I buy anything coming from china at a lower price than I expect, I get out my tools, sometimes use the grinder, sometimes visit the hardware store, it is expected. And yes, I totally put shit upside down from the orientation. In the case of a bike, I took my 15 year old mountain bike and put an 1500W e-wheel on it from Amazon and I zip past these Hyper whatever like they are standing still.
Thats enough to keep me away from buying one..
“I’m not gunna tell you where it is” dude was like if there not going to help me I’m not helping you 😂
I'm assuming you are not mechanically inclined... if you are bitching about having universal instructions of basic bicycle assembly. Also have you never adjusted a derailer on a MB or any normal fucking bicycle? Like what happens when your brakes start to wear out and you need to adjust them or the disc warp and have to be replaced? Like come on.... the only issue is the bike got dinged in shipping.
Hey let's trade IV got what u need AR rideal ❣️na just kidding luv my 🚲🚲🚲🚲🚲
Great info! How long is the cargo rack? How wide is it?
They have an accessory that is a rear basket! Go check it out... Juiced Hyper Scorpion now $1899 with 1000W, 52V 19.2AH, 30+mph, MAgs, Rack, Fender, 180mm Hyd Disc Brakes, USB, Alarm, and more!
I have built E-bikes since my father needed one after a near fatal bicycle accident in 2007, and he wanted something that would allow him to rehabilitate. I completely understand where you are coming from, he needed something lightweight and more bicycle-like to get him back on the road. I started at that same conclusion, and over the years, my needs evolved. I have gone from building Ebikes from everything from recumbents, 700c road, MTB and comfort cruisers, and finally a stretched "Limo" style cruiser bike that I converted to do Ebike food deliveries for Uber Eats. IF all you need is a pedal bike with some assist, this is NOT the Ebike for you, if however, you like me, have come to the conclusion that you need something with more durability than a bicycle, but not as heavy as a moped/motorcycle, this might be a good choice. I ordered the Hyper Scorpion Express, as it has ALL the "bells and whistles" I built over a few years for my delivery Ebike. The difference is, NONE of what I built was as durable or practical as what this Ebike has, I had to cobble together moped and motorcycle equipment, in a failed attempt to make something with adequate lighting for riding at night, blinkers, disc brakes, and the ability to climb steep hills with out worry. This is the FIRST Ebike I have ever seen even get CLOSE to making those requirements, and it knocks them out of the park! I think honestly, it's more that perhaps, this just didn't end up being the right Ebike for you use, You might look into something like the Ariel Rider M-Class, it is a step-through with very light weight (only 47.5 lbs, Not bad most others in this style are 15 - 20 lbs heavier!) electricbikereview.com/ariel-rider/m-class/ I originally would have gotten the M-Class, but I need all the "bells and whistles" because I will use it for deliveries, and I LIKE the extra weight, it makes the bike more stable, yes, more weight does = less range, but use such as weather or not you pedal, how much cargo (rider weight) and how fast you ride makes a BIG difference. I would not expect any vehicle to have much range going flat out in Speed mode all the time, and keeping it in tall gear only effects your having to pedal harder and slower speeds, as this is a HUB motored Ebike, the gears have NO EFFECT on the motor's performance, as it only has the internal gear ratio of the Retroblade's hub motor, the gear you select is for your legs to contend with only, if this were a Mid-Drive, such as the Ariel Rider M-Class, then the bicycle gear shifter also affects the motor's gear ratio, as the power is produced at the pedals (or cranks of the bottom bracket so the motor uses the bicycle gears as transmission, unlike the hubmotor where the motor is directly inside the wheel (hub of the wheel, thus the name "hubmotor") YMMV, sorry this wasn't the right Ebike for your needs friend, and I agree, not sure why they didn't just put on a left hand throttle and put the grip shifter where it belongs on the right side, maybe because it wasn't compatible with the Display Screen? Who knows ...
