Thank you for this video!!!
Mvg Eric

Hello There. I am from Australia. My Hoden Tigra has a problem with the roof where it can open by itself BUT it can not close by itself and I have to help it to close it with my hands. I checked my fluid level and it is at the correct level as marked at the + sign on the container. 1) If I replace the hydraulic fluid then it will solve the problem? 2) What is the hydraulic oil name, type, or specific number/grade? I don't speak German, It would be nice if you have the caption translated in English. Holden is closed in Australia. I sent them my request for parts and services, but they did not reply. Please help where to buy the hydraulic oil .... Cheers
@@digicabtech you can try to change the oil. but I think you're already too late. but nothing is lost, a new pump also requires flushing. you can use crown SP fluid 3013

Hello, I need so a pump, what’s the price you can offer me ? Thank you very much for this video and your offer !
Hello, Where are you from?
Hello, thank you very much, I'm from Germany, yesterday I removed the pump, cleaned the parts (valves, nozzles) and the pump block, blew out the valve block with compressed air and reinstalled it. Now there is no hydraulic power at all, the control is all OK, I suspect that air in the system is to blame, do you have any idea how I can bleed the system? How do I get the air out of the system? I've already disconnected the hydraulic hoses on the hydraulic cylinders on the trunk lid and controlled them, but the oil doesn't even get there! So I suspect air in the block / pump

B E D A N K T ! ! ! Find the pump didn´t get of yet but recognized that there´s not enough hydraulic-fluid in - i´ll try to get the pump out to refill ! Many THX. for suggested oil ! Dank auch für dt. Beschreibung ! ´ happy wife - easy life ´ ! ... wer kennt das nicht :)
the fluid shouldn't leak out, if its low, its leaked out. if you put more in, it'll leak out again. it should be half full, not completely full.
THX. A LOT ! I´ve done it successfully - just fluid missed, pumps works well now ! ;)

Hi there, excuse my late reply pls. as i was on rehab for sev. weeks :( - 1. Mainly, yes ! ;) 2. I´ve taken the ´ LIQUI MOLY 1127´ for only 15,- € - cheap solve of problem ! :) You know, Opel/Holden even solve the problem by themself ( Opel / Holden himself told me ! ) - they just built off, sent it to the manufacturer, rebuilt it = badly the same you could do if the add. or change of hydraulic fluid will not solve the probs. / there´s a smal co. in Netherland who could help you - you´ ll find them on TH-cam, too :) ) I´ll hope meanwhile you´re a step forward ?! ;)
@@digicabtech I did reply but it seems to have gone... 1) potentially.. If the pump is OK 2) hydraulic oil grade/iso 32
How much oil is needed for a change? In millilitres preferably. Thx.
600ish but depends on how dirty your old oil is and how long to get it all out. Just buy a 1l bottle
About 60ml per change, and you need to do 5 changes so 300ml total. I would buy a litre bottle for £10 then you have some oil left over

@@digicabtech 1) yes. You want all of the old oil out, and the entire system filled with fresh, new oil. 2) 4/5 times. Then drain. Then refill. Then 4/5 times. Then drain, refill
If you need to buy one of these pumps, don't hesitate in buying it straight away from Rob, he is a very honest, professional and willing to help person. I bought mine off him and it arrived in about 4 days, looking nearly brand new and with brand new oil in it and working like a charm. Thank you, Rob, my roof is working properly again.
It's weird. I replace the oil with new one and works like a charm for 12/14 times straight throu, then I mount it all again, drive a mile away to the petrol station and it's giving me trouble again like it was before, not being able to open.
This happens more often if the valves in the pump no longer close properly in a certain position. If you try a few more times, the pump may work again. The valve is then in a different position again. The only solution is to install a reconditioned pump and then you're done with everything. I have plenty in stock.
@@robvandenberg5924 oh, I emptied the oil and replaced it again, but this time didn't work, so I thought I might be the battery being low, and it was also late so I came up home. I also disconnected the battery, to reset everything, thinking that might make it go to it's prime position, but I won't know if it will work again once the battery is charged a bit tomorrow. If it doesn't work, then I could buy one o'those pumps from you, if possible. Thank you very much indeed for the swift reply, Rob.
@@doowoppyify When the pump is running, there should be movement. If there is no movement or if there is slow movement when the pump is running, the pump is broken. the roof should open or close in approximately 18 seconds.
@@robvandenberg5924 When I changed the oil it worked really powerful and fast. I tried about 12 times, six before mounting everything and another six once mounted, to make sure it was all ok. Then I drove to the petrol station, gave the car a wash and it didn't work again. It makes noise, but It can't open, so I have to help it to open. Then it stops at the middle, and I have to push the button and help it again till it opens wide, cause it makes noise and tries but it looks like it has no sufficient power to open. Then it closes, a bit slow but closes, but all the same thing to reopen it again. As you say, the pump maybe broken.
