my 464 .44 sear is a little different than yours. i had that problem after removing. the hammer would not stay back. all i had to do was remove the sear and put spring back in. it would stay in with out sear a better close up in your 2 video of inside with sear and sping in would of help .

I love that you were able to modify it to work through the Mini-14 while still being able to function with the AR-15.

Does the tang safety still operate
@@mossymae yes 100% tang safety is still operational this mod only focuses on the leaver safety.
Any idea if there are some newer alternatives? Unfortunately only one of these is still available

I did this mod today, but all i did was tap the pin through enough to let the trigger stop fall out and knocked the pin back in with the spring still in place. Took probably five minutes.
Now do that with the 60 round drum! Good work!! Cheers!

This was NOT a R92 disassembly video I said so in the video at around 38 seconds in! This is a RP Hand guard install video.. I’m not trying to be rude or disrespectful however if you can’t find a R92 disassembly video on YT you didn’t look hard enough. How do I know this because I found it! there’s at least 8 full disassembly and reassembly videos still on YT that I just found with a simple search! So as I said if you’re unable to comprehend this simple install video in its entirety you should take it to a gunsmith to be safe! Have a great day!!!

@@Caneda_John I completely agree which is why I DIY built a slam fire 12 ga shotgun, it doesn’t have to look pretty it just has to be effective.
Are their modes better suited to airsoft than real guns? I’d like to get better at hitting guys at airsoft ranges. I don’t care about learning about shooting people at ranges impossible for airsoft guns.
The problem is that the pressure value is going to be at the weakest link from air cartridge to barrel I,m an old guy but did this kind of work since 1971 . Arnt you losing air pressure through that bolt that comes down through the air port ? Very cool kid ! Keep it up.! ( P.S. Cool it with the " Meat and potatoes " expression.... this aint a cooking show ! )
This is definitely the only thing in the way of the potential of the mini-14, and it's the proprietary mags.
One question, with shaving the top of the sides down a bit, how has it held up in terms of strength 3 years later at this point?
I don’t know honestly I sold the system about a month after making this video I see him from time to time I’ll ask him when I see him again. I’ll assume it’s good because it’s his favorite rifle and he never said it doesn’t work🤷🏽♂️

@@PraxisPrepper honestly the platform doesn’t matter what matters is your mindset and training on what you have and knowing your limitations with that platform… remember mindset and training without this you’re nothing more than a expensive loot drop for a guy that does.

I can’t stress enough that using a cheap component in an hpa build is a good idea. A $50 regular most likely isn’t made just for airsoft, the flow rate is horrible, some won’t allow you to use your set up at low psi levels. If you are still reading this just spend the extra $50-$80, it’s not worth destroying a drop in kit.

Kinda wish you did the takedown too, i can;t seem to find any videos on the removing the front forearm, most focus on taking apart the action and trigger. Got most of the screws off but that front band screw is really hard to remove. afraid i may have to drill it out and just order a replacement screw.
The video is on a r92 ranch hand however the takedown is the same. Unless you have a older puma/Rossi or pre 1995 then you’ll need to punch out the front sight to get the hand guard off. Hope this helps. th-cam.com/video/kiubQp93uI0/w-d-xo.html
@@Caneda_John Thanks that helped. Looks like my problem is the front band screw is stripped and I cant get the front band screw off. Ill have to use a tool to remove the stripped screw and order a new screw.
