MAD MAX, a Timberjack skidder, arrived at the farm on 10/14/2023. A skidder is a machine that is used for pulling logs. This machine got its name because when the log gets carried away it would skid across the ground. #skidder #loggingequipment #logging #maine #newengland #workingfarm #farm #farmlife #timberjack

GEESE LOVE FROSTED FLAKES, SNOW JOKE!!
มุมมอง 103ปีที่แล้ว
All the animals, particularly the geese, are hilarious with the snow. A typical Maine winter just getting started. The farm will end up getting at least 12 inches today. Other than power popping on and off at least 10 times, we're thankful for our surge protectors and that we haven't completely lost power, YET!

looks like fun, and nice new logo!
@@ValerieHicks-n2m super glad to see you here Val … 👍
Looks like a great time! Hope you had a blast
@@jeffhuntley2921 it was a lot of fun! Thanks for watching Jeff!
Very cool. Take it easy in road construction areas. I’ve had to fix a few that got caught up in uneven roads. Great time of year for some cruising!
Nice. Have fun be careful.
Lord willing we will be traveling to some fun motorcycle events. By the way we sure enjoy The Morning Show with you and Jen! Great to hear from you Tim!
His trailer his rules I guess ! Lol! Beautiful rig. All its missing is me driving it !
New calves are always fun. I hear ya on the extra efforts to raise pigs. Ours are destructive too. Thankfully we have had any escapees. We took your advice and got a monster electric fence charger so they only try it once:) cheers. Hope you have a great summer!
Thanks Jeff ... since 2016 we've had livestock breakouts happen when rain hits and the electric fence goes out. During the winter the pigs eat the barn walls and then we have to be rebuild in the spring. We've found 3 trusted friends to watch the dogs and livestock for us to get away for a weekend in September. We're looking forward to it!
That's one happy momma and a cute lil baby.. keep up the hard work you guys its paying off. Every time I get the trash at the rental across the street and here em moo I think yup happy cows...
LOL ...They are talking all the time out there! It's our second calf this year.
@@mailmanfarms awesome I'm glad you guys are living the good life you both deserve it.
@@FrankKnapp-u6o Hey Frank Knapp, is this your true name? Billy is wondering where he knows you from.
@@mailmanfarms I've lived in Bryant pond all my life and use to see him around doing carpentry. I use to work part time for logger larry
@@FrankKnapp-u6o Billy remembers logger Larry … hey if you’re on Facebook, send us a friend request under Billy-Annie Mailman
Very cool. Can’t have any trees slowing you down:)
2 driveways? Rich folk, huh? Lol. What a score getting that machine. I would love to have one.
Thanks for watching Ron … we’ve been working on it all winter … just started clearing some land for another road … it’s really a blessing and too much fun … we need to do another video update on Mad Max!
Look out Wild Bill you might end up tipped over in ur chair 😂 those are some happy dogs. I always tell people to keep up the hard work it pays off. You guys are proof.
Great to hear from you Frank and thanks for watching our update... your words encourage us more than you know. We thank God for blessing us with these beautiful, wicked smart Rottweilers.
Keep them rpm’s up
I love that sound! Lots of Seiner boats have them where im from in Alaska Very awesome rig. Skidders are my favorite. They look like the first trucks that were invented. Simple and built like tanks
Love your reply Stefan! We"re currently putting new tires on it and have changed all the fluids. We'll be posting more videos with Mad Max soon! Merry Christmas to you in Alaska.
@mailmanfarms Merry Christmas. I will stay tuned!
The baby awakes, but little lord Jesus no crying he made
Well I see I see two the person who opened them low Rams open them to why and the person on the skittle don't know what they doing
We did our best my friend. Thanks for watching! Have a great day!
Is that a wood fired oven? I’ve wanted one for years. Hope everyone is staying cozy
Absolutely Jeff ... It's the Pioneer Princess wood cook stove, made by the Amish and we got it 4 years ago up in Unity, Maine. It heats the whole house and great for cooking and baking!
@@mailmanfarms that’s perfect. It’s bigger than the version I saw. Some day I’ll get one:)
Hope your family has a great holiday and a Merry Christmas:)
It's a wonderful time of the year Jeff ... hope you enjoy your Christmas vittles ... as we celebrate the birth of our Jesus!
They seem to like the snow. Mine never did. They seen snow n wood not come out .
LOL … animals have their own little personalities, right!? … Good to hear from you Frank!
@@mailmanfarms yes they do. Lol my little dog likes to run and then slide on his belly across the snow. I think he's crazy I'm surprised his parts don't freeze and fall off.
@@FrankKnapp-u6o I'd love to see that! Specifically the belly slide not the parts falling off. LOL
Amateur hr driving lucky that guy didn’t get maimed
Yes, my friend ... we were very thankful nobody got injured.
That snow blower is handy! Better than a blade or bucket that I use. Glad you have your toys!
We invested in the John Deere with various attachments 6 years ago. Added the snow blower 4 years ago. As we're getting older these things have all been a great blessing! Thank you my friend.
Wild Bill tamed a Deere. Good choice bud.
Beautiful beef. They look happy.
Thank you Frank ... it's a huge blessing to be able to have our own beef.
Nice working. Hard work pays off
Seriously appreciate your comment my friend. You are exactly right. Hard work pays off. Thanks for watching!
I'm going to quit watching your videos. All they do is make me jealous of your toys! That thing will be soooo handy! Enjoy!!
LOL ... but seriously my friend ... Lots of hard work to get tax deductions, to stay debt free, because, who wants to pay the government anymore then one has to. Also, I'm trying to delete the music so folks can hear the audio.
That looks like a machine my brother had years ago. That machine could run!
You're absolutely right my friend. Thank you for watching ... we're working on replacing all the fluids, plugs, tires etc ... we'll have more videos on it's performance soon!
Congratulations on the new family member!:)
Nice:) I’ve been very lucky to have all my puppies get trained by my mature dogs while they were growing up. I can never get toys to stick around tho. They always end up in the brook behind my house. There’s probably 50 frisbees piled up somewhere downstream from me:)
You're right my friend. Koa has been great in getting Piper trained quickly!
I'd say that he's happy and loves his toy.
If anyone wants to know what the Rottie Purr is, I think that there is one here. Cute dogs.
Always fun to hear that in the yard. I incubate eggs every spring but this year I had a renegade mom that hatched 5 in the bushes. Of course 3 of the 5 ended up being rosters:) cheers to the new addition to the family!
Great to hear from you Jeff ... not sure if this little baby will survive. We put it back into the coop and hope the mother will keep it warm.
Get that dog some water...
Seriously appreciate your concern, however, it was not a lack of water, it was HIS excitement in meeting a FEMALE Rottweiler puppy for the first time! They are becoming great buddies and we’ve only had her a week and a half.
❤Tooooooo precious! A wonderful addition to the family 💞let the adventures begin.
Ramps were definately optional. As I recall, ear protection is required!
Absolutely my friend!
Need to get real forestry tires those look like tractor tires that’s why they are so beat up
Absolutely my friend … we’re working on it … these size tires are difficult to find.
Ya u need at least a 16 ply forestry tire they won’t go bald nearly as fast as I’m sure those tires did. Just don’t spin over stumps or scrub side walls against other trees they will last forever if they are taken care of
Screamin demon
Nice pair..good looking barn they have .
Absolutely they are a wonderful family running an amazing farm!
haul up your draws!
A daily struggle for most men LOL
💞love your updates! Good to hear your voice 💖🙏✨
Hey my friend ... this short is a snippet from our Cattle Roadtrip video from this last Saturday!
Good addition to the farm:) they can be vocal as they get to know eachother:)
Looks like things are starting to dry out a bit. Pretty soon hou will be trading mud for snow.
Nice video hope the haying this summer was good for you!!
Haying wasn’t great due to constant rain here in Maine.
Fine looking beeves.
Hey Hey Brother ... Great to hear from you.
So glad Bill got home and all back in their yard.
Thankful for you and that you were with Bill since I couldn't reach him by phone. Love you my friend!
Cows and their shenanigans. Lol
These boogers ONLY respond to BIlly's voice. They KNEW the minute his truck drove into the yard! LOL
Really enjoying your videos. Bringing back lots of childhood memories! You aren't farming if you don't have to chase cows once in a while! Keep up the good work.
Well said my friend and truly appreciate your encouraging words!
We had to chase ours 4 miles through the woods:) fortunately they usually listen to there stomachs. We had a near by farm that had 13 cows disappeared without a trace for a few weeks. Not fun. Grain silo looks good. Definitely handy to get feed in bulk
Hey Jeff … that’s a lot of drama. Indeed not fun. We’re loving the silo! Hope your piglets are thriving!
@@mailmanfarms piglets are doing great! Growing so fast. Feasting on pumpkins:)
