San Diego Unified Redistricting Meeting Nov. 12. 2021

Every 10 years, local governments use new census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. The San Diego Unified Board of Education has formed a committee to analyze the 2020 census data and solicit input from community members to help shape this process.
The committee will vote on a map proposal to recommend to the school board, which has the final say. The district must finalize and submit a new map by Feb. 28.
