Yeah bro , I’m going through Frustration now with win11

I had the Alienware tech team spend a month over the phone trying to fix issues I had after windows 11 install. It was too late to downgrade. The guy helped me get windows 10 back but nothing worked, especially my wifi. Sometimes I couldn't get anything to work. They had me send it in to them twice. They replaced a couple of parts (I found out later, they were guessing that could be the problem) and I paid for them. It still didn't work. After a total of about 3 or 4 months I had a working Alienware 17 R5 again. Months later I found a post explaining that Dell does not support windows 11 on this laptop. It has all the suggested requirements but Alienware won't update whatever it is that would fix all the issues getting in the way. In short, I spent several months, hours upon hours on the phone and money for technical support (my warranty was up) and parts that didn't need replacing. When you send a laptop in they do not turn it on. They just test all the parts. The Dell website now says there is no support for the issue but they don't say it can't run it at all.

Buyer beware! its not usb3, its only usb2, it has trouble with video jitter, special when a scene pan across the screen , most frustrating to watch! image quality apart from the image jitter is great. i tried changing a lot of different settings and it mostly made it worse. might be ok for game capture or basic video stuff, but terrible if you want to put your dvd or blu rays to hard drive using this capture device, better to use screen capture or "make mkv" software
