ATV / Sled Camper
มุมมอง 20K4 ปีที่แล้ว
At the time I built this camper we were in the midst of the Covid-19 Coronavirus crisis. The world is in a state of either being told to stay home or had their cities locked down to prevent the spread of this deadly virus. Saying that it left me with some free time to build this snowmobile /atv camper...enjoy.

We had knot contests as checkpoints when they had jamboree or Klondike, summer camp etc. It's a useful skill to this day. One of our very old scoutmasters insisted on us learning how to tie a one handed bowline around your waist. His time and skills learned in the navy came up rarely, but when he did share, it was something potentially lifesaving. Great experience

The most costly purchase will be the press and reloading dies. Check your local sports stores for pricing.

I always check shell length and trim if I need to. They will expand when you shoot them. It will change the depth that the bullet seats.

enjoyed video. subscribed. i have the same press. i made a case kicker like the one rcbs made for the rock chucker out of a hose clamp. drill three holes and bend one end ,,press mounting bolt on right side to attach to press and you increase your speed. i put a large plastic container under the press on the floor and increase my speed by at least a third. take care.

From the gun show. Georgia ammo kiosk. 125 for 300 winchester primers, 300 180g bullet tips and 300 brass casings cleaned and deprimed on a ziplock bag. The man forgot to sell gun powder. I can't find powder anywhere.

What, no shower? Just kidding. That thing is awesome. Probably cost less than $40K you would pay at the dealer for less features? Any idea of how much it weighs? Can it still be pulled by a snowmobile?

  • @GH-oi2jf

The bowline is a great knot and can save a life. If you see someone who has broken through the ice, and you have a rope, don’t through them just the plain end of the rope. Put a large loop in the end with a bowline and through them that. The person in peril can put his head, arms and shoulders through the loop, and hang on as he is pulled out even though his fingers are freezing.
