Why did you multiply by cos^k theta
Hey there. Not 100% which part of video you refer too, so I'll take a stab at it. At about 3:30 we are inducing the next term after cos2^(2k-1)theta which has index a factor of 2 larger [2^(k-1).2^(1)=2^(k), thus cos2^(k)theta. At 3:40 I forget to write theta down, but later on at 5:23 I fix this, oops. The same goes for the RHS from about 5:00 where I go from P(k) to P(k+1).
