I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day
Mostly arranged but with a bit of improv here and there, this feels like a needed message for such a year as this. The famous poem by H.W. Longfellow, with the original hymn tune (by Calkin), followed by a bit of Silent Night:
-- "Sleep in heavenly peace"
We can have no true lasting peace, unless our Creator buys us out of our own slave market, and unlocks the full dignity and potential of every single one of us. This is the mission He came here to fulfill 2,000 years ago, and He actually DID it! And so, despite all we see around us...
-- "God is not dead, nor doth He sleep"

An original piano-organ duet for the beloved praise chorus "Thou Art Worthy" (text from Revelation 4-5, music by Pauline M Mills). Rising-up from the midst of today's great uncertainty, in heaven this is even now being sung: "Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honor and power. For Thou hast created all things, and for Thy pleasure they are created: Thou art worthy, O Lord!"

This is an amazing performance. Scott's TH-cam channel is one of my favorites. I don't know why he isn't better known. One of the best pianists I've ever heard.
A beautiful piece and the arrangement shows the range of color of the instrument. A good combination.

Enjoyable but please don’t let the pianistic cliches drown the original intent of the exercise. Sometimes there are too many notes for little gain.

Why does it sound like a fairground organ?
Our church has a three manual Rodgers 905. How are you able to access the bells and whistle sounds? Are they through the midi settings?
