From Gothic-guided meditations to Goregrind sex ASMR to shitty Black metal, this episode has it ALL!
Well, it's safe to say that the good bands streak I was having came to an end. I believe the metal gods have redeemed my beer offering as mediocre,, hence the punishment.

FIRST EPISODE OF A NEW SERIES OF VIDEOS!!! Many of you have been recommending your bands/projects on the random band series' last few videos, which led me to ask for your stuff, bands and/or projects... So here it is. I had a lot of fun listening to your stuff, still, many bands were left out because if not, this would have been longer than a Lord of the Rings extended cut at half speed. DON'T ...

Deltha reminds me of Crystal Viper
haha i thought the last band was the worst but then again i like noise
I love black metal! It’s my number 1 alongside stoner metal. Have you checked out Nocturnal Depression yet?
Hey there I wasn’t sure how to submit my band so I figured I’d just send it here. My band is called tortugal sacrifice and we just released a new ep I think you would really dig if you like deathcore. We are an all teen band from Ontario Canada and we’d love to see your reaction to our music!!
Thanks!
Hey man, thanks a bunch!!!
That cathedral is beautiful!!
@@nicetomato7573 honestly is even more impressive when you walk in front of it... I've been living here for 8 years and it never ceases to impress me...
This is the kind of stuff that makes me say that Black Metal isnt real Metal, it's just barely audible garbage. God, I do dislike Black Metal. I know I am hella biased, but I do not care.
@@christopherjobin-official7440 Hahah give it a chance, not all black metal is the same.
Depends. Black metal ranges from folk/viking bands like Arkona to the fringes of Dungeon Synth
Couldn't agree more about "performance will hold up through production" you can have the best production but if the performance and editing isn't there it will still sound like complete crap! Edit: Okay- that being said, nothing can help out Gorehouse though.
@@TonehengeProductions yeah, it's a bit controversial I know... I think I will create a video specifically about this theme, this way we can kill each other on the comments haha, but yeah, personally for me I can bypass a crappy production if the performance is on point... But once again, it's a grey area...
@@headbangfridays Haha now THAT is a comment section I can look forward to! Totally agree, don't get me wrong I can deal with some VERY rough production and still enjoy something. Some 1349 and Immortal albums come to mind, but there is a fine line when it becomes "too rough" for me. I feel like it might be kind of like a pain tolerance, everyone has their own acceptable levels of trash production they can accept before tapping out.
My band has no members and puts out albums that don’t exist. It’s super kvlt
Satan.
That death metal band was really great and I know you were really harsh on the black metal band I like it from The Stance of I listened to a lot of noise Rock and no wave. So stuff that's kind of off-kilter like Arab on radar or Aids wolf along those lines and then if you make it where it's like an extremity I appreciate it in that sort of form so I don't mind if guitars are Out Of Tune but I have to listen to the entire thing to really tell what I heard on the sample there would be enough for me to go okay let me give this a shot which I will later on today after my recording session
The thing for me is when the line gets a bit too-blurry and gray from raw to ¨we didn't rehearse and I'm too lazy to tune my instrument¨ I get noise, and I get arab on radar (which they actually play on time, despite being noise). But IMHO this BM band sounds just lazy and unprepared... but anyways it's just my opinion. Just not my cup o` tea.
@headbangfridays yeah no I totally understand that because you do have to be consistent with it. That's why I said like it it intrigues me enough because I've only heard the small samples I did not listen to an entire song yet which might make it more glaringly obvious. I'm glad that you know who Arab on radar was I went and saw them in New Orleans in 2002 at One-Eyed Jack's with the Locust
@ShaolinLambKiller Awesome! Honestly I think I will make a video specifically about that, because honestly It's quite a subject, like at the end of the day what really defines a "bad" or " good" band, there's no such thing as a rule, just like you rhere are other who dig that band, I know I kinda threw the BM band under the bus... 😬 It actually reminds me of a class I had once, where an orchestra was playing a play from an "avantgarde" composer... It was noise, like literally, but the interesting fact was that everyone had their score... I think I will open that pandora box on a video, the comment section will be a free for all deathmatch 😂😂
@headbangfridays well I'm all here for it and look forward to it. I enjoy all types including noise like musical concrete and harsh wall noise and have created both along with some drone vaporware style stuff.
A little bit of self-promotion: Sacrifizer - Nocturnal Death
added to the list !
"Dildo" by Underball is a great track I found by the random button
Thought I was the only one doing goregrind in NZ, they may be shitty gorenoise but at least there's others!
Gorehouse sound more Gorenoise than Death metal ._.
Pangathrone actually made me laugh

to be honest I liked the sound of paganthron. the playing and riffs were sloppy but the mix actually sounded sick for me
Man, that's the beauty of this, what sucks for me it's awesome for you and the other way around, I actually kinda want to exploit this on a separate video, like what's actually bad... or good....
checking out several of these bands after seeing your video
@@markus888 hope you dig some of them!
Shity black metal Sundays
:(
So many great bands! One song per band makes total sense! Might i request Brained - A Coffin In Chains?
No way! so sad to see Polycephaly split up, i have literally been to a Polycephaly concert because they came to Estonia (where i live) once. It was just like 4-5 months ago too.
I hate to see good bands splitting up,...... stay together for the kids :(
I like watching this later so i can see if any bands comment with some interesting facts Also balance of terror is really close to new cryptopsy. I like it
I'm going to just go ahead and comment at the moment unspeakable Carnage is really good it reminds me of early 2000s when they had a bands like teen Cthulhu, or bird of ill omen, fate of Icarus, and if you want to go a little bit later to getting towards the mid-2000s black arrows of Filth and impurity. Basically it is blackened metal core to a degree. Not necessarily because it has breakdowns but it has those really chunky parts and you have the more higher pitched vocals and you have a little bit more raw aesthetic. Like this actually sounds like something that was recorded in 2001 or 2002 I really dig this I'm going to have to check that out even further. Backbone plays a style that I have to be in a very specific mood for but they do it extremely well. I can't remember what the french black metal band was but I really really like that one a lot kind of reminded me of aosoth and to us degree one of my bands that's more well known and on a higher profile label, acasual intrusion. Also the brutal death metal band I liked a lot the second one this is a real group of fucking good ones the only one I'm not that into is the symphonic death metal band and that's mainly because it's just not my thing and I really have to be in the mood to dig into that sounded very well done and a nice transition to what I've listened to but I have to be like very specific in that mood
Okay yeah on the last two bands the grind band was fucking fantastic really love that one. The last one that which was the sludge band I mean I really did not get where it comes across as death metal musically I like it vocally I just can't get it to it. Like if I saw this band Live I'd go outside for a cigarette and I don't even smoke
If you like french bm you should really listen about "Dëgénéréscence" i recommand you to listen to "Hélas! Je n'étais pas fait pour cette haine..." album :))
Check out Volur from Canada
Awesome bands 🤘🤘 Thank you!!
I want to recommend if you haven’t heard: Fields of Sorrow by Blood Red Fog
Hey, Backbone here! Thanks a ton for having us here and vibing with our music. Man, I know it's a drag to listen to an album that goes for more than 70 minutes. And thanks for all the kind words. We were always aiming for a distinct sound that does not go in hand with how the "modern" or "traditional" metal is supposed to sound like. Glad that's been heard. Kudos to your channel!
Dobra muza chłopaki, gracie kiedyś w Gdańsku?
@mikoajfrycz884 Na sto procent na trasie drugiej płyty. Gdzieś na jesień '25 pewnie.

very very thanks for your support!
Hell yea, Backbone sounds awesome, gonna check them out
We're pleased to hear that!
thanks for the kind words on unspeakable carnage!
@@vvallent I find your stuff very unique, an I loved how you used 2 different types of distortion ( when you used the hm2 ) on 2 song! . It really opened my eyes since i'm currently deciding if I should use or not a chainsaw type of distortion on a project, I never thought of maybe switching back and forth ... Thank you for that, I migth steal that idea!
What a great batch of bands! 🔥
