Hi, Unfortunately not, when using the multiple job grouping as per the video, you can't nest more than one file using this method. You would need to create the artwork to have the various files needed before using VersaWorks.

Hi, Is the artwork a vector? I would make sure it is as normally if an object won't fill in the artwork then it is more than likely a bitmap image.

@@Legendoftherock Not at all, we are happy to help. Windows 11 architecture is similar to Windows 10, so chances are it will work in all honesty, however we can only go off the officially supported information from Roland. I would think support for Windows 11 will arrive, but I cannot confirm when currently.

It should give you the option for USB, if that device is compatible with Versaworks 6. I would advise to make sure you have all the drivers for that specific device up to date. If the item you have is purchased from Xpres and you cannot add the system please contact us via www.xprestechnical.co.uk

Printed numbers are in 0.1 mm's which isn't particularly obvious as the printer wants the offset in mm's Printed chart already incorporates any existing offset, but doesn't indicate this on the chart (unlike roland). So if you've already got it set to +0.5 +0.5 or whatever then this will be your 0 value on the chart, and you'll need to add / subtract the numbers from the measurement. Mimaki also can't make their mind up if it's scan / feed or X / Y. Also there are several places to make this same adjustment, AFAICT it's just the one setting with several ways to access it.

Maybe this helps: I was faced with the same issue of app freezing in the same circumstance, what I did was close app by Ënding Task then restarting the app, retrying to start the option under the Cut Edit tab as many times as it took to finally see it work without the app freezing. As for calibrating the cut, well, I am presently facing the same situation of having the cutt of my printing machine way off...and just can't seem to set it right!....

Hi Louis, this is the first thing we recommend if there is no lights on the heat press panel. Buy a new fuse (you can get them from the Xpres website) and follow the video to install another. I hope this helped!

Hi Marshall, there should be sound on this video, it is working for us. Perhaps check your audio settings on your device and ensure there is sound coming from other videos? If it is just this video that is a problem for you, perhaps try using closed captions from the youtube video settings at the bottom of the video instead

@@xprestechnical NOPE, playing other videos and all ok, no sound on any of the tech series for this plotter so far.

@@marshallluddite Tested on another PC and all working okay this end. Same via iPhone. Can you please try another device?

@@xprestechnical yes works on a phone thanks, bizarre thing is that the first few vids with the chap showing the machine fuctions work ok with sound, its not until it goes to the screen scare.... maybe just an oddity of youtube on my system.

This machine doesn't use an IP, so there should be a Driver option instead. When this is selected, find your machine listed in the adjacent drop-down list.

VersaWorks will not offer the option to select the 'USB Driver' unless the driver is installed. Perhaps try to install the BN-20 driver first, this can be found in the BN-20 playlist on our channel.

Usually due to not having the driver installed before setting up VersaWorks, have you tried installing the USB Driver before opening VersaWorks?

@@tonyprinting9925 Which printer are you using? Usually the BN-20 is the only option for USB, otherwise you need to use a network cable and choose an IP address.

@@xprestechnical GS-24 should work with USB right?

@@johnzafra6493 Yes it should. You will also need to add a printer to allow you to use the GS-24 through Versaworks. Also make sure the GS-24 Driver is installed and if the USB option still does not show within Roland Versaworks I would recommend reinstall the Versaworks program.
