I try to keep using engaging music so people either want to keep watching or listening or hopefully both!

It's the National Art Center Tokyo, so I suppose they have the space. The sculptures are largely orthodox I must admit.

She had several works in that vein. She does Nihonga, so the front work is on silk, the back painted on washi. Lighting determines how much the back bleeds through. The cat work front was fairly opaque.

Fuchigami smashes up semiconductor wafers to get that translucent appearance, but his works are really difficult to record and highly reflective which is why I make an unplanned appearance. I took the video because I wanted to get that vibrant glitter effect that his works have without being...glitter. August Viella's works were cute but a bit creepy and had that AI appearance though I confirmed they were painted. He snuck a little girl into his works. There was a Tim Burton appeal there I admit.

She was a model the artist asked to promote the piece. He is not seen in the video.

There were some problematic edge areas and some obvious inside areas so I dealt with those accordingly. I started with poppy music and ended up with a track from The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo soundtrack by Trent Reznor.

The bass is simple but infectious.

I show the works that I like, but I don't usually comment because I like people to decide for themselves.

There was a lot a wanted to show and those flew by rather quickly. I'd like to think the octopus was a kraken. It had me kraken a smile in any case!

I don't think it is as interesting as it is stable. People become complacent with the mundane. I see people in the buildings around mine and it seems the most exciting thing is picking a place for lunch. The less fortunate go to the daily bento shop. It makes me sad, actually.

Thanks! When you don't have a big budget, you pick stuff that you can live with for the long term. The only problem with this exhibtiion is that I ain't selling a thing! lol. I'll be putting up pictures on the 'official' instagram Otho Gallery page in the coming weeks.

Thanks. This is the 'year of the dragon' in Chinese astrology, so when my January exhibition pushed to the end of January, I thought of getting something in there. Unfortunately other galleries thought of it sooner, so I only got four artists.

This artist has a rather cathartic approach to sculpture and the roughness of his works give them a somewhat untamed appearance.
