Shark Frenzy in Carbo Country
First time diving in what they call Carbo country. I got a nice Carbo on this dive but that's not what got the blood pumping. I had to shoot one more snapper.. Big mistake!

Dove this wreck a few weeks before this dive. On the previous dive I saw several Cubera Snapper and a huge Black Grouper (Carbo) so, I came back to see if they were still home. Didn't see the Carbos but did see a couple Cuberas. One was a pretty good size one.

If you look on the bottom closely before you shoot the last fish you can see the sharks there and fired up.
They came in because yall killed either a short or illegal fish left floating. They had already fought for that fishand ate it. Then you rang the dinner bell by having another hurt fish not shot well going crazy. The spot was loaded with bait fish etc etc etc. Multiple ars tucked under rock probably means they had been circling working the area before yall were there. That all being said the sharks are getting nuts and way over populated. They associate boats with free meals and come to the noise and wounded or struggling fish. Especially hook and Line free meals.
@@zackistre that gag that was shot by mistake from the other guy and left actually floated to the surface and wasn’t eaten. The whole dive there were no sharks around. But anyways I guess thank you for your comment..
They were there on drop and around as you can tell by the fish on the spot wether you saw them is different story. Lots of time they stay just out of view or distance. You can obviously see sharks on the bottom frenzied at 8:15 when the almaco zooms up. There are 3 insight on the video. Then you shoot the fish that goes eratic because of flesh shot. Then they came in and devour it.
You make allot of noise underwater!
It’s kinda hard to talk underwater so you have to make sounds to get your buddies attention..
The squeak sound is me clearing my ears.. ever since having covid it’s sounded like that
No offense to anyone but I have No doubt you guys are Rookies but anyway great catch…. Don’t ever violate any diving rules because can cost your life…. My advice From a 40 years diving experience diver….. be safe guys,I have seen a lot…

If one day you guys are in the area shoot me text … deep sea fishing, diving and spear fishing is my passion since I was like 14 years old…

My god, awesome video. I'm a Master certified freediver but to be honest now I want to learn how to spearfishing. Probably next year will try it. Any recomendation on where to go in Europe? Thanks in advnace!
