How to "myo reps/sets" compare to sets to 0-1 RIR? With myo reps/sets I hit failure before the set is done then just rest 5-15 seconds and finish off the set or go until failure again and repeat for each set (non-compound movements obviously). I find these myo style sets really help with delts, biceps, and triceps (smaller isolation type movements). Thanks for the great info as always!

Doctors have kids who want cars and college degrees. Stay away from full range training. No need to surface and build the joints across all movements that the limbs might do in real life.
Isometrics.
Yeah, partial reps have a time and place to do them. For example, if you have a sticking point in your lift, by doing partials at a lighter weight around the sticking point will usually fix the problem and allow you to progress. It is not all the time that you want to go through the full ROM and fatigue yourself more. But with that said, unless you have a specific goal and objective in mind, where doing partial reps are the effective solution, you should stick to full ROM. It is by far more badass to see ATG squats than a partial squat for example - or a dead hang to chest pull up rather than a tiny ROM pull up. And finally, I want to give you kudos for pointing out not to trust "muh science" all the time. Reading through some of the studies that influencers throw around, they are shockingly poorly executed and do not reflect the scientific method at all. I like how you pointed out that there are differences in untrained and trained individuals in that study you referenced. Nice job brah

Those "studies" are flawed because they don't do their experiments for long enough time frames and they don't legitimately follow a partial range program. I have already proven partial range works better than full range guaranteed. Side note: Stop focusing on studies lol they won't get you where you want to go.
