You like Star Trek or model building in general? Then my channel has what you want. From the Enterprise to Battlestar Galactica, my channel entertains you on how I build these models and more. Entertainment is the key and if you happen to learn then all the better. I hope what you see will help you build your models as best you want them. Everyone has their own way of doing a build and if there is a technique I do that will help you in yours then that is great! Most of how I build the models is self taught and observing how others did their ships. So I hope my channel helps you in your build and also be entertained. Have fun and leave comments.

Great job
Great work 🙂 which decals are this? This looks good, i never seen decals for the Niagara Class, did you make this by yourself? Best regards from germany
I used the 1:1400 scale Enterprise-D decals and also some for the Enterprise-C
@@epycmodels946 It looked like you also used som from the Yamaguchi set. Or are those included in the recent Ent-C release as well?
@@slighter Yes I used the engineering hull from the Yamaguchi.
The ship turned out fantastic you did a great job sratch building this model ship. Well done. Looking f😢to your next build.
Will be live streaming the next build for the non altered Niagara class.
I enjoyed seeing this Build series Great job
I have fun doing them
Am going too have to try something like that. am about 98 percent done with the 350 scale refit enterprise A. I have a TH-cam chanel still new at i would like some feedback if your interested
Original 1978' Basestar of the Cylons..yes to me the later re maded as the later series didn't cut it Orginals on everthing can't be beaten ...actors cylons voice Galactica ..Pegasus..vipes..cylons saucers...all of the series was right on target..music oh Bartar cant foorget him...toooo many of the actors have past away....❤❤❤❤❤❤
Looks great so far. You mentioned a link on how to assemble the circuit board. I don't see the link unless I missed it.
Sorry about that. It is up now. Btw here is the link... th-cam.com/video/oF4zrbMHJwU/w-d-xo.html
@@epycmodels946 Thank you. I appreciate it.
Can we buy this use as a practical effect for our Terminator fan film?
Yes you can. You can contact me at knelson5621@gmail.com

I checked my email and there was nothing there.

The joys of thinking you’re done assembling something for random lighting to not work. Been through that with my E a few times.
Would like to know how you hold the transparent engine covers in place without the glue contacting them. On my 5th model and still havent figured this one out
On this model there were no transparent covers. I had to drill out the section where they glowed and then used Testors window maker to fill in the opening but for better adhesion use Canopy glue instead. Also where the opening is I used clear scotch tape and then applied the window maker over it. I used several layers.
@@epycmodels946 Hi, Which brand of canopy glue did you use? And can you use Tamiya tape when prepping for spraying? Or will it pull the window fill out?
@@stephentopham1577 Just use any clear scotch tape inside the model. You can leave it in there. Evergreen Canopy glue is the name I use to fill in the windows.
Great work, during the saucer light test I noticed 3 windows that had no light coming through.
Very impresario scratch building for this model and ideas on how to make the modifications is brilliant ! Looking forward to the next instalment. Just a thought you said the customer was going to get you to build this same model again just with 1 deletion ,do you think it would be good before you glue any halves together to make templates of all the mods so the next one will be easier to make as you will have templates to assist you so you don't have to do it all from scratch again?
Yeah I already made the templates so will go a bit quicker in the next build. I will be live streaming that.
Thanks ,look forward to seeing the next steps ,great skill in your scratch building.
Right on. I loved your Dreadnaught. This is going to be so cool. You build the same as me. Better but on the fly kinda freestyle like my builds.
I love those Wolf 359 Ships
Very cool. You've motivated me to start mine.
ooooooooo..... Niagara Class? You have my attention!
No disrespect, I love your work! But… I find 1.5x speed juuust about right! 🤓👍
looks fantastic, which saphire blue did you use? looks great
I used a light blue undercoat then a Corsa Grey over top.
wow, fantastic work 🙂 i love your old model, but for me is a new build easier, the 2021 Round2 Excelsior is overhouled and nice to build with nice new things and great decals 🙂
Thanks. I enjoy the work.
Nice work, and video. Trying to find the Klingon music playing at end, what is it please?
I found it on a different channel on TH-cam. I do not remember the name of it.
That turned out great!
Looks great. I have this kit myself and planning on building it this year.
Thank you for the video's, it's great to see a pro at work. And thank you for answering some of my silly questions in earlier video's. Cheers.
Outstanding job!
Exceptional result!!
Beautiful as always Ken
Thanks Epyc, What is that magic tube of glue that seems to bond painted surfaces together, if you don't mind me asking?
It's just testors glue.
I make an absolute mess with glue. How can I improve, and how do you wipe off excess glue with your finger? Definitely in need of help
When gluing apply it to the inside of the part you are attaching. That way the glue will ooze inward instead of outward. If some does I gently wipe it off then later go back and touch up the paint.
Wow, your brush skills are awesome 🙂 great results
Hi Epyc, I hope you don't mind me calling you by your first name. Great video again! I would love to be able to do custom lighting in my kits like you do. How do I learn? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Cheers!
I think that rather easy to lean. Maybe you want to check out a video series called "Lighting your models" by interstellar modeler.
@@slighter Thank you, I will.
Not much into building sci-fi stuff. But that looks pretty cool

Very nice!
Love this build, but i must ask a question, did you don´t like led strips? i think this will be much easier as all the bulbs 🙂
I actually built it before I started using LED strips. Later on I might take it apart and put in the strips.
@@epycmodels946 your bulbwork is awesome too, you are a master in bulbs :-) you did it perfect 🙂 fantastic work
This is lovely work, great results so far!
Your pictures show Kronos One. You sure you don’t want to pick up the Kronos One kit which is alsready prepared for your considered lighting effects? Or are you planning to mix up the TMP and TUC versions of the ship, in a way?
Thank you for the video. I can't believe you did such a fantastic job with a paint brush and no masking! Looking forward to the rest of the build.
Indeed, the paintjob looks impressive and very well done!
If you want to you can copy the paint scheme I'm doing on my 1/537 K'tinga.
wow this beauty looks awesome, i enjoyed this build series, thanks for share 🙂 The Excelsior is such a nice ship, you do it perfect
your patience is limitless😛 great work
a light coat of microscale decal film helps and the decals are very strong and easy to use 🙂 i need a lot of ships and tantrums before i know this^^ love your Excelsior Build, greetz from germany
Just bought one of these to build. They've gotten quite expensive..
Sweet! I finally picked up this kit on Ebay!😊
First! Great job by the way! All those wires would of drove me nuts!
That blue paint worried me a little… I kinda cannot stand the 'blue Trek’ phase… too cartoonish and unreal most often IMO… Nice work as usual though! I’ve always dug customs like this! 100% Keep up the good work! 🤓👍
It is a fantastic job ,I really like the scratch build of all the extra parts to turn the ship into the richer enterprise. It turned out perfectly you did a great job .👏👏👏👍👍👍
This is the ship THEY should have ended with in Picard.... Restored/updated Enterprise D.... The ship Captain 7 would command in Legacy 😮
If youd fixed the pins into the base and made it slip into a tube insert in each foot, then use connectors for cables going into the feet, it would would have made the model easily removable from rhe base if you want/need it. It looks good though.
It came out great! You really did an amazing job!
Very nice indeed!!
You did amazing job with this kit
