This was very insightful, thanks.
it'd be cool if in the future these auto generated subtitles on display got revised though
Very true
Pretty nice meditation with a very important topic. Thank you so much! The only thing to criticize for me would be that the kind of music used can sometimes make it a little bit hard to focus. But maybe that's just me ^^
No, it's not just you. Music was a bit disturbing. Also what did it say around 7:28, lack of what? Not even subtitles caught that.
@Lumpy_Peter it says 'lack of excellence'
THANL YOU MORE OF THIS NO MUSIC so hard to find love it
Great stuff. Have you guys tried the AI software, Sora, Flux, or Midjourney? Just a few options that might work well for these videos.
We're familiar with some of those tools...watching the space.
I like this...
Well, according to stoic philosophy you can use your emotions to identify false perceptions you have adopted.
Nice, thank you
Great video, audio, and text. This reminds me of the Enchiridion 5, 'the truly wise person blames no one, not himself or the wrongdoer.' This is very good practical philosophy for daily life as well. I actually had to use this recently in some sort of strange public freak out I was involved in. It really helped me to stay calm while others were freaking out. It opens the door for empathy like nothing else I've ever learned. There's an Osho quote that sorta reminds me of this too, 'there is a field beyond right and wrong, meet me there.'
nice video
Amazing. Ty
Hi Stoa. I just discovered your channel and I wanted to thank you for these beautiful meditations. It helps me so much to practice stoicism daily. Keep the good work going.
Thank you. You too.
Thank you very much, just discovered this channel by waking up to find a video playing. Very grateful 🙏🏼
Gratitude truly has a way of transforming our mornings, doesn't it? Stumbling upon wisdom unexpectedly often feels like a gift. How do you see Stoic principles influencing the way you start your day? Perhaps there's a specific practice that helps ground your mornings?
More meditation please
Thank you for sharing this! I have really enjoyed listening & considering these ideas.
If man do not know which port he sails then any wind should be okay :)
😊
Reflecting on how I might handle a day that did not go as planned is so helpful to me. Setting goals is important, but learning how to learn from and reflect on failure can be life changing.
Thank you!
1:23 to skip the bullshit
Thank you so much
Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts! A morning routine grounded in Stoicism can be incredibly empowering, right? How do you usually start your day to set a positive tone?
More meditation please
This helped change my life! Thank you so very much
Thank you. ❤
This may be reached to a small audience, but the impact you have on all our lives are immense , This is why you are more successful in the end of the day , Bless you ♥️
Nope
In what way? Stoics have an imperitive to fufill their roles in their community.
Who said that?
We are living it 😢

Considering “sin” basically means you aren’t living according to your views and beliefs yet, they wouldn’t be sins unless it was against what you personally believed. It’s more like just off balance.
Wdym? Sin is disobeying God.
Some people would rather make excuses then make changes....we all fall short of the glory of God, I feel like the biggest problem is people now a days are to far from God....Lord Jesus please let those with ears hear the good news of your salvation and let those with eyes not be blind to your glory. Amen

Sin is against God not man Matthew 10:28.
There's a difference between the context of what you're speaking and him
God made men after is own image. If you sin against men, you treat the creation of God with dishonor and so you sin against God. Their is no context in which this standard changes. The path is much narrower than you care to think.

ingraining stoic principles into me and my children
It's great to see that you're focused on ingraining Stoic principles into both yourself and your children. The Dichotomy of Control is such a powerful concept for guiding daily decisions and emotional resilience. How do you think practicing this principle with your children might help them navigate challenges as they grow? Would it be more about guiding them to focus on their own actions or helping them understand what is outside of their control?
great video
I wish the audio matched the video. I can’t watch the speakers, have to listen only. 😢 However, thank you very much for this video! ❤❤❤
Thank you
Defer or differ? How long will you defer thinking yourself worthy of the best things and not transgressing the distinctive reason? Have you accepted the theorems which it was your duty to agree to, and have you agreed to them? What teacher do you still expect to defer to in the correction of yourself? You are no longer a youth, but already an adult. If then you are negligent and slothful, and are continually making procrastination after procrastination, and proposal after proposal, and fixing day after day after which you will attend to yourself, you will not know that you are not making improvement, but you will continue ignorant both while you live and till you die.
Ai had gotten so good
Well timed thank you ❤
Hey, I’m not trying to be a dick or anything, But the earth is far far far less than 1% of the Milky Way Galaxy. The earth is much closer to being less than 1 trillionth of a trillionth of the mass of the Milky Way. It really ripped me out of the great meditation. I really enjoy the videos, just please stay away from numbers.
Great lesson. I’ve been a long time practiced of mindfulness meditation, but recently I have been leaning hard on a Stoic mindset because of the insanity of US politics right now. I could either let it upset me, or realize it’s all out of my control and operate within the bounds I have, while still helping where I can.
I suffer from that as well....and it's hard to detach from it....
