The deck system was way better. You pre make your early, mid and late game strategy so you didn’t need to think about what cards/items you were going with in the match. Now they just have a shit tonne of items and you have to sypher through them all. Seems weird to me. The deck system was fantastic
I'm way too dumb to follow these vids. Whatever happened to 100 health + 50 armour = 150 health.

Man this feels far more opaque than the Paragon system...
Meh, countess ability/haste/heal build is way better imo. Especially in team fights. It also almost do same damage to squishy targets, which you should focus anyway.
i think its more or less impossible (or very difficult and time consuming) to calculate all these variables into an equation. Mathematically this would be the optimal build but as we know from reality that always isn't the case with so many variables. It would be wiser to focus on utility say anti healing or healing in certain situations that these equations couldn't factor in. I think its more an exercise to explain how these items and stats optimally work rather then "this is the best build and u should use this"
Feel like it underestimates enemy healing. No way am I building septet last against khai/ramp/countes or any other healing character

I’m confused by this statement “this also means pen % doesn’t apply to heroes that use it to scale, such as feng mao and kallari” - can you elaborate? Edit - if I follow your equation and use the items Demolisher, Perforator, and citadel- I would be shredding ~70% of their armor before damage is calculated… running that in practice and it definitely isn’t happening that way
I believe what he means with those hero examples is that there kits have physical pen scaling built into one of there abilities. Kallari for example has an ability that lets her go invisible and while she's invisible she gains extra health Regen per second and it scales with the pen number but pen% isn't a number for them to scale with
Id say Morigesh falls under Chip damage for sure.
i believe a better term for what he defines as Chip would be Damage over time. So heroes to the left and center left have a lot or mostly DOT abilities/overall damage output where are Morigesh leans more to the right because only 1 of her abilities is DOT, the other 3 are Burst.

Random question is there a cap on ability haste and is it a 1 to 1 conversion. Like 1 ability haste equal 1% cooldown reduction

Lol predecessor is on its way to failing hard. Most are Uninstalling They should of imported legacy Paragon and built out from there. Everyone gets a teleport, one of the worst upgrade systems I have ever seen in a game and No one big as a streamer or channel are playing the game. For all intents and purposes this game has flopped on consoles and a very tiny base on pc If I were them I'd immediately back track to Paragon because predecessor isn't filling the void
