Love those old school Lone Ranger covers!! They always seemed more artsy and action than most!! The Roy Roger’s books were a great find!!
The Lone Ranger covers are some of my favorite western comic covers! I don't know if I've ever had such a long run of Roy Rogers show up like that before. I didn't place any high bids for any of the comics so I was surprised I won so many of them. I don't know if that was just luck or if the interest for western books has really fallen off that much.

Hello. Interesting vid, as I don't see many of the older mags highlighted. How did you do selling them?
They're pretty slow sellers overall. I've been taking them to local shows and flea markets and I usually end up selling maybe one magazine per event. I've got a couple of months break in setting up over the winter so I"ll probably get them listed in my ebay store in December and see how they do there. Unfortunately many of the fans from this era of collectibles aren't with us any more and the vast majority of the rest are no longer collecting.
@majesticcollectiblesIA That's disappointing. I have 100s of Sport from the 50s and most of the Sports Illustrated, but sadly the SI are 99% subscription issues. Good luck selling the others.

Awesome cartoon comics,, there’s so many but the smurfs and muppets are always hard to find especially in good condition
I've always had good luck with the cartoon books although most other dealers give me a hard time about trying to sell cartoon kiddie books. Whomever had these in their collection was certainly a huge fan since they came in 4mil mylar sleeves and are all VF/NM or better! Thanks for watching!

Cool titles here. Smilin' Jack was very popular. Comic books, Big Little Books, cereal premiums, newspaper strips and movies. I collect Smilin' Jack and enjoy the character very much. I'm 58 and enjoy the older comic's. I read Dick Tracy and Joe Palooka. The army issues of Joe Palooka are great. Thanks for sharing these comics. Just subbed. Take care and stay well. Best/Steve
Thanks for watching! The golden age books are my favorite by far! There's such a variety of titles and genres and so many of them had fantastic art and even more fantastical stories! I"m a fan of superhero comics, but there's so much more out there. I wish more collectors would give them a chance too.
Kids don't know what comics really are, the independent comics were my favorites because they had all kinds of stories back in the day, especially Dare Devil was one of my favorites, wish I still had them, one day I get them again just to keep and read them all over again..

No Frazetta, but there were a couple of Boris and Joe Juskso sets that were really nice.

Great finds! I’ve got a More Fun #102 (Second appearance of Superboy) in about 3.0 that I bought almost a decade ago for $199, and I have a More Fun #104 that I bought back in the 1990’s (First Superboy cover) also in 3.0. As to the Speed Comics in say the mid 1940’s WW2 era I mainly buy those for the Alex Schomberg covers and also for Joe Kubert’s Black Cat stories which I’m always hunting for. As to the 4Most Comics right now I’m looking into buying an interesting one, but I’ll let you know about it later, if I get it.
Thanks! I'm a huge fan of the More Fun Specter covers and stories. Unfortunately the Specter story is incomplete, but the Superboy origin is comeplete and was fun to read!
I love the off title stuff, especially the westerns! Some really nice looking comics, with my favorites being those Lone Rangers 🤩
I just bought a 4Most Comics # Vol 1/4 from Autumn 1942 off of e-bay for $38 in about VG condition, the two notable things about it are that it has a page of early Dr Seuss art and also it has a crazy fish slapping someone in the face cover. Both of which are draws to me regardless of how well this book might or might not appreciate in the marketplace. 😊

Really nice group of pickups and I would say the prices are even better. Particularly, as you mentioned, that Santa Claus on Parade book is just gorgeous! You're right about comics like those Marvel Premiere Doctor Who's. They used to be so common and yet you NEVER see them anymore in the wild. No idea why. I don't think they are all socked away in collections. Maybe they just tumbled around in the quarter/fifty cent bins until they just faded away....
Yep, I think many of them just got beat up in bargain bins over the years. I think its the same with the later Marvel direct series too. I must've stopped at a couple dozen different places on my road trip and those were the only ones I saw, thankfully they were in nice condition.

Fantastic pick-up of some great DC runs! It seems like some of the titles you showed are picking up some interest, at least in my area, and at least in the reader category of collector.
Thanks! Silver age Superman titles aren't that rare here, but finding long runs is highly unusual. You can tell these came from a true long time collector. I agree that there seems to be a growing interest in these titles and low grade reader copies are always in demand. Thanks for watching!

Yep, those colors and covers on the 10 cent books really stand out! I don't remember ever having long runs of reader copies like in this collection so that's been a lot of fun!

I apologize for asking, but is there a way find the name for a figures that I can't remember? Any help will be appreciated!
That can be tough for sure! The easiest way would be to use Google Lens if you have a picture of the figure. If not I usually do a wide angle search on ebay sold listings such as GI Joe, Thundercats, Transformers, etc. The down side is that even using sold listings there can be thousands of them of to look through which could take a few hours. Another method would be to search online action figures forums and ask for help with whatever information you have. Good Luck!
