Some of the Best Bali Waterfalls ... and a Few to Skip
Asking locals on Bali, many will tell you: Banyumala and Sekumpul are two of the most beautiful. You can check out a full list and map here:
www.jaredsdetours.com/bali-waterfalls/
In this video, you'll see:
1. Leke Leke, about an hour’s drive from Ubud.
After the relatively easy hike in, you can cool off by swimming in the pool at the waterfall’s base.
2. Goa Raja, which is is one of our favorite waterfalls on Bali.
After a pretty easy hike, you’ll walk around giant stone walls and find a powerful waterfall inside. It almost creates its own weather system inside the cave.
Just outside is a gorgeous waterfall, which cascades into a manmade pool.
3. You’ll find Tukad Cepung at the end of a cavernous hike through a gorge.
It’s a favorite for photographers, as the sunlight creates different scenes inside as it passes during the day.
4. You’ll likely find a bigger crowd at Kanto Lampo.
It’s another “wait your turn for a photo” site.
5. I’d also recommend going to see this smaller waterfall, tucked away in the corner of the Tagalalang Rice Terraces.
You’ll have to hike the dirt paths through the rice fields, but the views are stunning, and the waterfall and irrigation system helped the site gain its UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
6. Tibumana is popular, and is a decent spot for swimming.
7. Taman Sari is nearby, and another good swimming hole. The two-tiered waterfall is pretty, but it doesn’t compare in my mind to some of the others.
8. Taman Beji Griya is another I’d skip.
The waterfalls here are beautiful, but for me it’s too much of a commercialized spiritual site… almost like the ceremonies were created for social media experiences.
9. If you have time to island-hop, I’d definitely spend time on East Java, taking the lengthy but worthwhile trip to Tempak Sewu.

If you fly into the village of Supai, the helicopter will drop you off very close to the Havasupai Lodge. It reopened after a pandemic renovation in 2023. Each room fits four people, with beds, a couch, and set of table and chairs. Some rooms have mini-fridges and microwaves. The lodge serves a complimentary breakfast and snacks. A small market and a cafe are down the street from the lodge. Sup...
The Havasupai Falls Permit Check-In Process

On the drive to check in for your Havasupai Falls permit and hike, you might be surprised to find yourself driving through flat ranchland in Northern Arizona and on Hualapai Tribal land. You’ll find plenty of signs leading you to the Havasupai check-in area, which is usually o...

This video will show you what to expect on the hike to Havasupai Falls, as the terrain changes with each mile. Depending on where you park, if you stay at the lodge, and where along Havasu Creek you setup your campsite, the length of the hike could range from 8 miles to 11 miles. At the Hualapai Hilltop parking area, you'll find a main lot, and a lot of roadside parking. You might have to park ...

Goa Raja Waterfall: Why it's a Favorite on Bali
มุมมอง 82วันที่ผ่านมา
Goa Raja means “Cave of the King,” and I think this is one of the Bali waterfalls that lives up to the hype. You'll see it spelled both "Goa Raja" and "Goa Rajo." The cost is just about $2 to enter, which is typically the fee for most of the waterfalls on Bali. The hike involves a steep set of steps, and it continues along a dirt trail through the lush forest. ⏰ Video Timeline ⏰ 00:00 Intro to ...

Spacious room and more importantly a unique tub and plunge! I wouldn’t need anything else.
If you have a rechargeable fan for your tent, air conditioning isn’t even considered for some!
A new place which I’ve become actually obsessed with is Pizza Cult in Ubud. Amazing food, great service, such a cute venue and really affordable. Also a great place to bring your laptop and work from!
A bummer to find yourself there when the market has training and closes for a day. Definitely important to pay attention to posted sheets of paper when in the village or at the check in .😵💫
Really high quality video
So beautiful
Huge thanks!
Enjoy your trip!
What mile happens to be your favorite ?!!
Mile 10 ... the end :)
Beautiful !

Is AirTrain available at midnight?
It runs all the time, even at midnight. Once you get to Jamaica to transfer to a train, you'll have fewer options than you'd have during the day. Also, check my new video, because they've made great upgrades: th-cam.com/video/g6JIB4l1ARs/w-d-xo.html
What a wonderful video, thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for checking it out!
Definitely worth a day trip. Its a small town so you can enjoy it in that time. There is also a botanical garden for 4 euros which is close by and you can get away from the sun under a tree.
Ooo I'll have to check out the botanical garden next time!
How I pronounce this
Almost like "shzeh-zshah" ...
when i arrive to the penn station and my hotel is 13 min away in walking (at 8th ave) is it safe to walk this distance with 1 large bag after midnight ?
I think so. 8th Avenue will still have people out walking around.
Can we fly drone at this place ?
As long as there's not a wildfire in the Coconino National Forest. Drone operators are required to follow these rules: Keep the drone visible at all times. Don’t fly within 5 miles of an airport. Keep the drone below 400 feet. Don’t fly over wildlife.
Water shoes are a MUST! Those rocks are like walking on glass. 🤕😅.
No doubt!
How Can you take the air from Nnewark Airport to JFK
The AirTrain only runs to JFK. From Newark, it's very easy to take one of the Jersey Transit trains into Manhattan.
Thank you!
Thanks for checking out our video :)
I used this video as a point of reference for my first trip to Rocky Point and it helped me a lot. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and will be back very soon.
Great to hear!

Yes. www.jaredsdetours.com/beaver-falls/

Thanks for watching!
I'm not so sure you should be drinking from havasu creek. What makes it different than the undrinkable water upstream ? The mineral content is very high hence the blue color.
He said a water bottle with a filter on it
Yeah, definitely don't drink from the creek without a special filter.
Thanks for your video. We will be going there this month.
Great- enjoy your trip!
Superb! Thanks for sharing :) I wish I had seen your video prior to my trip !

can you use your direct debit card for two people ? or is it best to buy tickets for airtrain ?

Thanks for showing us bro!!! I’ve always wanted to see in this mine
Would you recommend the subway or the railroad from Jamica? Thanks for the video!
I almost always do the LIRR ... either to Grand Central or Penn Station. It's much faster than the subway.
@@JaredDillinghamTravel Thanks mate!
That crowd looks like complete insanity! 😵💫
It was.... a lot!
Showers smelled like pee
15 minutes well spent to get to this beauty! Leke Leke is definitely one to add to your list of waterfalls to check out when in Bali.
It really is!
"Invasive" reeks of limited understanding of nature. Talk to the tree , get its take. Humans think they are the only intelligent species here. The planet and life forms have more wisdom than the average human .
Thanks for the tip on the correct train station; I, sure enough, was about to book Pisa Centrale.
Me too!
@@JaredDillinghamTravel I went yesterday. I was surprised that there were no big visual signs on directions to Pisa when exiting the platform. We all ending up turning right when going down the stairs which just took us back downstairs. Exit signs showing left and right and the name of where it puts you neither mentioned Pisa.
thank you lot's😘
You're welcome 😊
Hi, would you know how cold it gets during night in June ?
It's mild... in the 60s/70s at night. A lot of June/July campers choose to sleep in hammocks, rather than tents.
thank you sir😘

What car rental did you choose ?
We ended up going with Alamo, but any of the companies would be fine. Most of them seem to rent small SUVs, which work great! I think we had a Toyota Rav4.
Hi thanks for the video, really informative and gives me confidence to use this method to get to Manhattan. Re the contactless payment how do i pay for children? We are a group of 4 2 adults and 2 children aged 11 and 8. Thanks for your help.
For a group of 4, it might be just as cost-effective to take a taxi. If you think the kids would enjoy the trains, I would just keep using your card against the touchpad, and sending an adult through first, and then the two kids. One of the workers there in a red jacket will be happy to help!
great shots mate
Thanks! It's a stunning place
@@JaredDillinghamTravel how did you get out there? seems to be a bit of a mission
What time is the last airtrain? Just wondering if this will work for my late arriving flight...
It's 24/7 ... Even during off-peak hours, trains run every 4-10 minutes.
You forgot to mention Howard Beach
It’s amazing ❤
place dream
amazing
I’m from Hawaii, surprised I never knew about this till today! Thanks for the informative video!
Thanks for checking it out!
