In this channel, I will play Classical music LPs that I have collected over the years, especially early pressing records, on my audio system.
Listening to classical music on an early release LP will have a completely different feel from listening to classical music on a clean and refreshing digital source these days. We must feel that this change is the history of our music culture, and there is ample reason to respect it.
Let's listen to music from the heyday of LPs on records from that era.

I would like to add my opinion on the LP recording method. From the perspective of audiophiles, this may seem strange, but I record by connecting the preamp output, which is the stage right before the power amplifier, without going through the speaker. The reason is that I think that sound sources recorded in this way have minimal distortion when played in various environments. Sound sources recorded by micing the sound coming out of the speaker seem to have more distortion because the power amplifier and speaker are duplicated again in the system we usually listen to. When recording an LP and converting it into a sound source, I don’t think it’s a good choice to let my power amplifier or speakers affect the quality of the LP playback. Of course, the process up to the preamp is an inevitable choice. This process is the same as the way LPs were recorded on cassette tapes in the past. However, I still have doubts about whether this recording method is perfect for digitizing LPs in this digital age and for us to listen to them. If I have time, I would like to try various methods, including ways to capture the sound played through the speaker well, and continue to think about ways to improve it.😅

@@r.handerlie9607 I use a portable digital recorder, not a sound card. It's a Nagra SD. And I haven't heard the Dumky Trio by Christian Tetzlaff and co. yet. I'll have to check it out. Happy New Year.😃
