Septic System Repair
Old drain field pipes and soil removed and replaced with clean A3 sand. Installed new Infiltrator 1060 gal septic tank and 300 sq ft of drain field using Infiltrator leach field chambers in type A3 sand. Passed inspection by health department and then area was covered with fabric and sand, raked, seeded and mulched the following day. Total time 3 days.

Humming Birds in my Bottlebrush Tree.

This month, May 2020, a flock of Humming Birds arrived in our bottlebrush tree. I was able to get some interesting video of them feeding and one sitting on a branch resting.

Two Otters were swimming and interacting about 150 yards from our back deck. I grabbed my Canon HV20 and zoomed in to record them. I didn't have time to set up a tripod so its a little shaky.

The video segments were recorded at different times beginning at dawn on Monday, September 11, 2017. I used my Canon HV20 shooting through windows. Johnson Lake became very scary; imagine what it must have been like on the coast.

No age requirement. You need a full licence, BWTM card qualification & a construction industry induction. That's my country - AUS. Really quite easy to get in to this profession.

how many advance warning signs are needed for a lane closure on a two-lane two-way road in CA MUTCD? thanks.
My company uses 3 as a standard, but can be as few as two if the road is short enough or if traffic moves slow enough. You will *always* want to at least have a "road work ahead" (or some variation) and "flagger" signs, but you really ought to also have a "be prepared to stop" sign if your roadway has the space for it.
Not sure about your State as it may have its own standards. In Florida, Lane Closures require 4 signs per a side. Multi lane road ways that have a medium wide enough will require also signs. So 90% of Lane Closures in Florida will require 8 signs min. Road Work Speeding Fines Double Right Left Lane Closed Ahead Transition / Merge Sign Some also will additionally add a Should Closed Ahead sign

I work for a state agency and we do a lot of lane closures. These are nicely done and up to date but in the description you say there are 5 videos. What are the others as we would like to use these to help train new hires!

These were a series of of 5 disks that I made while employed by an engineering consultant firm for the Florida Dept of Transportation, Tallahassee. I live in Lexington, Kentucky and use our DDI nearly every day. It works!! If you pay attention when you drive, you'll enjoy it. If you text and drive, take another route.

@fasharoony They're becoming more and more frequent over here, actually (a large city park in my area uses them for the majority of its intersections), but only for lesser-used roads. A roundabout just isn't feasible for roads as heavily-used as the interstates, especially when top speeds can near 130 km/h.
@fasharoony Well there is more traffic in the US, a roundabout would be insufficient as they're only 4 or 6 lanes wide; and most major thoroughfares are usually 10 or 12 lanes wide.
It would work , granted people look away from their iPhone while driving to notice the signs and arrows. Lol
You can't run roundabouts with 30,000 + per day. These seem like a pretty good solution
It looks like a good idea to me. Put up a few signs to get drivers acclimated, and follow the arrows. It's actually easier to navigate than the traffic circles, which no one ever seems to be able to figure out.
