Last days warning ... Jesus is coming for His bride and Judgement will be poured out. if you are struggling with sin then you are not ready. Read 1 John chapter 3 very carefully. Many are called but few are chosen. HEADS UP!
Nice machine! I bought the Cat 302.7 excavator last year.
@@craigvanhousen559 sweet cat is a great brand make some videos of it! Have a great day!
That's been my mental hold up all my life, never bought anything on payments. Makes it hard to afford expensive equipment.
Dude great video. Tear up some ground
Is thos the same as Tafe brand?
I am on my second one, total 750 hours. Love it for doing everything I need it to do, and being kind to my 60 year old oversized frame. Hydrostatic! Snowblower, rototiller, box scraper, post hole auger, loader, bucket, pallet forks, single plow, rake and roller.
Super cool. I'm trading my SVL97-2 for a MF 2860e,, was concerned about loader lift. It certainly won't be like my 97, but looks like it'll do some work.
GREAT MACHINES , I hope to perchase a 2855M series W A cab and the shuttle trans.fenders for the front tires to protect the cab glass from stones. I've always been a loyal fan of MASSEY FERGUSONS since I was a kid in the 1960s. I inherited my dads MASSEY FERGUSON 1150 V8 AG tractor a 1970 model and I also have a MF14 & 16 garden tractors . Also growing up around the farm country area the naiboring farms were MASSEY FERGUSON tractors always reliable. Then unfortunately as in time life gos by and the old farmers get old and pass on. and again things change and I hate change. But ya can't stop change. However some things stay the same as in the younger gen Takes over there faith in the brand name didn't change they stuck with MASSEY FERGUSONS . Anyway, they've been around for generations and still are running strong.. MASSEY FERGUSON FOR EVER..
Love the looks of these tractors however I've always loved the way MASSEY FERGUSON tractors since I was a kid in the early 60s and part of the early 70s my dad brought home an 1150 v8 MASSEY in 74 man what a beast . Anyway, I hope to be in the market to buy a BN 2855M W A CAB AND SHUTTLE TRANS also w the front fenders to keep the stones from flying up and hitting the glass on the front of the cab of course I want the loader and of course out fitted with the R1 AG tires my dealer will be ABELE TRACTOR IN ALBANY NY .
Could you have sold it and got more than trade?
Still happy with the MF? I looked at a 1825E in Madison Georgia today. I’m leaning towards the MF over the other brands I have looked at. It’s been a tough decision. Thanks
Hopefully you didn't make that mistake...
Good for you, Man
Can you do a 1-year review on your Massey for us please
Thats a brand that's been around i like it i got my grandfathers supper dexta 1700 dollar tractor in the 60s
Looking to get a 1840m MF. Costs alot more than comparable kioti and kubota but I'm hoping it's worth it
Do you still like the Massey? I'm picking up a tractor soon here in Conyers
I have the same model but in hydro. My biggest dislike is the steering. I hear it a little bit on your tractor as well, whining when turning the wheel, and steering seems to get stiffer as revs go up. Have you experienced this? I don't know if it's just the way it is, or if mine has an issue. Been like this from day one. My kubota steers much easier, so that is my only comparison.
I Absolutely Love my Massey 1736!
Do a Regeneration procedure video, I couldn't find a good one online and I don't think I did it right
Yeah we can tell by looking at the paint and the hours no it LOL
Nelson and Cain are both my local dealers as well. Both a better than average dealers, but Kabe Cain is over the top. What a nice man to purchase a tractor from. We are loving our new Massey 2607H.
Really cool. Thank you for the video. Wife and I already have a massey 1734e. We are thinking of upgrading to get more hp as you have done. Also, I bought my massey from Cain. Really great guy
When the time come should do a video on maintenance and servicing
How you liking the 2860E? I'm in the market for a new tractor. Been going back and forth with the Kioti's and Massey.
It's awesome! I'm always impressed with its power! The weight of it is good too well balanced! I think you would be happy with a massey.
I have a Massey 2706 60HP and its a beast!! I love it, its very similar to your 2860.
Be careful concentrating weight/load when pushing/lifting on your loader on one side, like when you pushed the fork straight. That can tweak your loader frame. Watch your video in slow motion when you did that....you’ll see the loader flex higher on that right side. Good looking tractor! I’m thinking of trading my 27 hp Deere for a larger Massey.
You get more tractor with massey.
@@jamesscott6661 alot more. Lol. Love my 2860e
Nice man! I’m looking at a 2600 series, guess that’s just smaller /less power
Nice swap out! There are many different tractor brands, all well made. Each has its pro's and cons. I have a Massey Ferguson GC2610 (sub-compact). I am thinking about moving up to a slightly larger rig. I might stick with Massey, since I've had good luck with mine. I am sure yours will treat you well!! Thanks for sharing! - Rick
Great decision to go with a Massey Ferguson tractor
Nice tractor! Will have to look into this when I need to upgrade.
Hello, just subscribed, Kubota’s are super dependable, I Think you will love the Massie🚜🪵🇺🇸
I had a L3301 with HST for 2 yrs and then upgraded to an MX5400. At this point with limited supply you have to get what you can. Massey had more tractors on the lot this month than Kubota or New Holland. I personally went with Kubota based on Messicks video comparing Kubota with JD and Massey. The prices for most brands are not that far off for the equivalent tractor. Also Kubota offers a 20% Equine discount off of MSRP including implements.
Ive got a kubota L2501. Need a bit more power. Let me know how the Massey holds up.
Curious on the Massey loader, is it as smooth as the Kubota to run 2 functions at once? Especially curl back and lower at the same time to keep loads level on the pallet forks. I went from a Kubota to a Kioti and was very disappointed with the loader controls. Going back to a Kubota or trying a Massey, not sure yet. thanks!
Well the massey does do 2 functions at one time but it takes some finesse after being used to the kubota and to be honest I'm not sure going from the 2501 to the massey 2860 is comparable because the hydraulics on the massey are soo much faster and I had to really learn to dial my movements down... my suggestion is to test drive both your options nothing like getting your hands on the tractor and getting a feel of the controls! I hope this helps
@@superdadkevin5797 thanks, the issue I head with the kioti was that it would dump instead of curl when trying to do 2 functions with a load. Like it was going into a bypass or something.
@@highinthedirt yeah that hasn't happened with the massey at all!
That Kubogy 2501 gear 8×4 sounds like a pure rattle trap, can't imagine how a hydro-static-slip-o-howl-matic would sound. Once considered this unit for a counter part-back-up to my Kubogy MX5200 TLB. Just got real smart and purchased the Massey-Ferguson 1736 power shuttle off the show room floor three years ago. For a measly 20% more (4000$) it is a 250% better value and better tractor although it is 30% bigger. It is "So Quiet" & super nimble, super fast on the hydraulics & powerfull. With the bucket-linkage loader it scoupes and dumps like a dream. "Massey-Ferguson -- the Last Tractor You Will Ever Need" . A wise choice my good Man. Happy safe Tractoring & thanks for the vidio.
Lol, you know miss spelling and downing brands makes you look pretty petty.
@@MrManic52001 l have to misspel to get through utube. Kubota's are "good" tractors .Massey-Ferguson are "great" tractors. Can say this because l have both brands. The best tractor is the one that is " paid for" & has at least 2000hrs of excellent trouble-free service given. What kind of tractor do you have?
@@donaldstrishock3923 my point stands...... you coming up with arbitrary "best" tractor litmus tests just makes you look bad. Also misspelling brand names is just off putting. I get brand loyalty but come on man!
@@MrManic52001 You still didn't pass the "litmus test" on contributing (what brand) ,that you have "so-called " loyalty to. Are you a tractor- owner, a tractor- loaner, or just a "talker"?
@@donaldstrishock3923 all of the above. I own a Kubota operate JD and borrowed a Massey. I do the same thing while watching car reviews... it is just interesting to listen and read comments.
Apparently you fell in love with the Massey not to upgrade your Kubota. What was the deciding factor?
The dealership was a huge factor price was a little better and just impressed with the power of the massey... but I'd say the dealer was the final factor! Cain equipment is awesome!
@@superdadkevin5797 dealership trust is a huge factor.
Nice hooks! I need some on my bucket. You need to get that camera out more, I’d love to have seen those trees being pushed over!
That operator station looks a lot more comfortable and ergonomic than the 2600H series. Very very nice! If you're like me, you'll be in Low 1 for hard work, Low 2 or 3 for mowing, and Low 4 for traveling off road. I try to keep my precious rubber lugs off the pavement, so high range is rare. Good idea getting loaded tires! Very nice setup you have there.
Yeah. But that 2600H series a prolly a bit more stout and rugged then the 2800E series. 2600H is old school for those that want something more similar to pre 90s tractors.
I considered getting the L2501 at one point but my needs/wants kept getting bigger and Massey also proved to have the most value to me. Please keep making tractor content... I'm a huge fan of what Massey has put on the market right now. I looked at the 2850 at a dealership and ended up going with a 2607H for the weight.
The 2501 was a great little tractor I did outgrow it though and wow at the power the massey has so far I love the 2860 thanks for watching your videos are great!
@@superdadkevin5797 I'll be watching closely to see what that beefy 2860 can do. It's A LOT of tractor with a very manageable footprint. That's about as much power as you can fit in a large compact size. Heck, it might be considered utility sized but more maneuverable.
@@FabbedFun It is a beast! The dealer called it a large compact utility.... I'll do my best to make videos when I'm working it like a borrowed mule!
Looks like a well designed operators station. Should make you a good tractor!
It's pretty sweet especially for the economy model!
@@superdadkevin5797 hey buddy I have the same tractor with the same tire setup you do. Heres some numbers for you to keep in mind. The tractor bare weighs right at 4000#. The loader with bucket adds around 800 or so lbs. My rear tires have 480# per tire of fluid. That's using water and glycol I believe. So tractor with tires weighted and loader is roughly 5800lb-5900lb. Any more questions just ask and I'll help you out. Enjoy it I have 50 hours on mine already and it's been great. P.S. your 50 hour service will cost you about $300
I really like that tractor! I wouldn’t mind having a Massey that size myself!
How did it do in this . I just bought the same
Sorry video not so good. You don't even have a view of the brush hog doing any work only the weeds you are cutting and a little bit of what you cut. You should have at least shown the cutter in action with a back view for some of it. I have the same set up if you have a land pride cutter. I do hope if you are going to shoot videos for you tube you can give it a bit more thought next time.
I have a l2501 i dont have any problem i pull a 6’ brushog. And yes it does take time. I tell my customers roughly an acre an hour... and yes when mowing 10 or 15 acres it’s a looooonnnnnggggg day lol
Hello from Blairsville Ga! My mouth dropped when you said you got it at Nelson’s. Hoping the guy buys my B series this weekend and I can pick up one of these next week.
Howdy from Cornelia, GA! I have the L3301 and had to swap my wheels to widen the stance for the hills down here too. You won't regret it if you haven't already done it. Love mine too...got about 118 hours or so on it now.
I have the same pallet forks and same tractor. I welded drings to the forks.
How many hours you have on it now? Do you have any regrets not getting the hst? Looking at buying one or possibly a Deere 3025e. Just trying to figure out which one, I got a little scared after reading some consumer reviews on the Kubota thank you
It has 35 hours now. And I have zero regrets about the tractor! It's been great and I feel it will continue to impress me! If I could change anything I would have maybe opted for the 33hp...
I have 600 hrs on mine only issue was not the fault of tractor. Hit obstruction and drained oil. Soon as I seen light on killed it. Unfortunately killed engine. Thank god for insurance
Same motor just de tuned. Soon as that warranty is up turn it up
Turn the phone sideways for video!!!! Please. Nice tractor. I have it and love it.
Any issues with it bogging down in thick grass?
It does at times but I was trying to cut to short to began with. But to be honest that little 25 horse engine is very impressive! Much stronger than I would have ever imagined.
Good deal.. I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on an HST version.. Thanks for the reviews!
I've seen 60 & 70 hp tractors bog down in tall grass. Open back cutters make a big difference. I have a Titan Implement cutter. Works good on my 1626.
Great choice! Also, R4 tires will help on hills. Lower and wider
R1 tires set to max tread width is wider than r4 tires.
