January was a blur as was February for our household with three birthdays in the month. I wasn't able to get as much done as I wanted, but still made some progress. Arduino Flap Controller

Programmed an Arduino into a flap controller for my airplane. My actuator has a built in position sensor (potentiometer) and two motor wires that have to switch polarity to change direction. Arduino Controlled Panel and Interior Lights

This simple Arduino program will control the avionics panel lighting as well ass additional lights in the footwell and possibly baggage area. An input from the Dynon FMS will also flash the lights when a warning event has occurred in the system. Hey this is where I had my first flight lesson! We took off from KMDD and did a touch and go at Big Spring, a touch and go at midland international and then landed back.

Crazy right! The wind is always blowing in west Texas. Actually had a 50° crosswind on the way in on final both times but it vanished on the way down.
I've heard the cliche statement numerous times - "What can you actually learn when landing in this wind?" pretty much during every flight since I started lol
