Whoever did this documentary,thank you! To show us the nuts and bolts of how a rock concert and the people in it is put together,is amazing and really makes you appreciate the hard work that Everyone puts in!❤❤❤❤ This has been fascinating and eye opening to me! It's not a life for the feint hearted, thats for sure! I can see the bands that had people that weren't as agreeable as Journey band members, going into drinking etc to cope. Steve was brave and smart to quit at a time that was hard for him mentally and physically (his voice suffering)right at the pinnacle of his career!❤ Meeting Kelly saved him from being a recluse and his promise to her,that he wouldn't isolate himself again, helped him find his love for music again! RIP Kelly and Gid Bless you Steve Perry!❤❤❤❤

Watching Steve on drums,I now understand how Phil Collins dislocated his neck playing the drums. Then a while later he had a stroke and lost his ability to hold the drumsticks in his hand and at the same time discovered he had severe diabetes and pneumonia and almost died twice! He continued doing concerts sitting for a couple of years with Genisis and finally the whole band retired.

The road crew is Amazing! Such a dangerous job done in alot of darkness and after a long trip to get to the venue! After watching what. All they do, makes you appreciate them more than ever!❤❤❤

I think most people don't think about how important the road crews are besides the band on how successful a concert and the sound of system they put in place is!

I was 15 . Tickets were 14.50. Saw them twice in Phoenix. Great memories. So much talent.

I have the single CD of this track. It had a video you could play on a PC haha. The disc still works but I imagine the video part won’t haha

My first concert was Journey, 1981 @ the Cow Palace in San Francisco/Daly City. My older sister took me, I was a freshman in HS. Great memories and amazing music. Thanks for posting.

My only issue with this video was the concert at the end. Wish it had included the entire set. Still, it was a very insightful look into the work it takes to put a show together and the perils of life on the road.

I got to meet Pat Morrow with my girlfriend in San Diego when we posed as Steve Perry’s cousin’s from San Diego ( he said that she had a nice but -lol) then introduced us to Steve Perry great guy)

They really perfected the formula in Summer Holiday, and everything about that movie just clicked. After that they couldn’t really maintain the magic and although the music was great, the subsequent films weren’t so good.

I had the privilege of being a disc jockey for K-107 in Tulsa when this album came out. Our phones were lit up like a Christmas tree with requests for Separate Ways and Faithfully. This brings back the memories of how impactful this album was to so many.
