very nice itinirery im going in feb 2025
Thanks a lot! Great to hear 🙏 have fun!
I actually feel like this is not an itinerary for kids. There was barely any "fun" things for kids. It was mostly temples and historical visits which is not suitable for kids. This is really just for really small kids who nap during the day or are in a stroller but you can't do this with kids who are a bit older and want to have fun/ be entertained/ not walk alot.
I get what you're saying, but we think you can make all these things fun for kids. Temples? Make it an adventure. Play hide an seek. Markets? Adventure time as well. Wander around and be in awe together about how different things are from back home. Try new things to eat and share your experiences. Hikes in nature will be more on the menu when Mia is older. So will waterfalls. Beaches are fun of course and we put in multiple chill days at the pool. But you probably won't find us at the bigger theme parks, water parks and stuff like that.
I found an Apple Genius Bar and they helped me with me i phone. During my travel my phone wasn’t updating time zones automaticity, the nice apple employee fixed in 15 seconds. They slos have a famously Louis Vuitton, mini boutique and Hermes boutique
Thailand can learn a lesson from Singapore's experiences on littering. First, educate Thai people on clean environment. Second, make strict laws on littering in the streets. Third, enforce the laws on littering in the streets. Fourth, hire more staff for cleaning the streets. Fifth, people who litter must go to prison and pay heavy fines. You will notice the same revolutionary change in Thailand as it happened in Singapore. I think Thai people must take responsibility for keeping their country clean. Also, I do not recommend buying cheap street food in Bangkok and other Thai cities. Street food is prepared in unhygienic manner and must be avoided at all cost.
@@dissent807 Probably most countries can learn a thing or two from Singapore 😅
Thanks! Very clear information

Hey where did u book your taxi from? As in which Website or maybe a cuple u can suggest if u dont want to give the exact one :)
Hi! Either straight at the hotel desk for longer travels, or Grab for shorter trips. With meter taxi's always insist to actually use the meter instead of fixed price :)
Do you not get Food Poisoning from the night markets? did u get the typhoid Vaccine or any extra Vaccines for u or Mia? Because we always avoid food at streets or street food.. fellow European(German ) here 😃
Hi neighbor :) Luckily no food poisoning. We do enjoy eating on the street and do it often. We especially look for food stalls with high rotation, locals eating there, no reheating, no uncooled sushi, stuff like that. You can never be sure. Street food in general is not a bad thing though. And we do get our shots. Also Mia. We actually just checked but no typhoid. If it was advised we would've gotten it. Maybe we'll be advised it next time.
Nice little overview!

Hi Michelle and welcome! 😊 For this, please check out our video: IS IT SAFE TO DRIVE IN THAILAND? (Our car rental experience + prices) 🇹🇭 Hope this will help!
How useful was the stroller? Was it necessary to bring it?
Hi! For us it was useful for sure. Ofcourse the sidewalks are not smooth everywhere, but we do always use it and have hardly been in situations where it wasn't doable.
Thanks ❤

Hello. What about parking? Is it easy/enough parking space at the beach, restaurants or shops/markets? Driving it’s just a 1/3 of the hassle.
Never had any trouble with that really. It's fine. Had more trouble finding a spot in European beach destinations for example.
@ oh ok. thank you for the quick response.

Hello I'm a white boy from NY USA lol i am planning a trip from Jfk to Thailand in January with 3 hour layover in doha. Is this safe for white americans to travel through? I always said i would never visit the middle east in fear of being kidnapped ect.. lol am i worrying too much? Do you feel its safe for me to layover here??
Thanks. Subscribed.
Great! 🙏
Hey, great video! :) I will have a 19 hour layover in Doha, do you think i can stay there the whole time? Also, are there free or less expensive sleeping options? :)
Thanks! For 19hrs we would go out of the airport. Maybe you have a free or affordable visa? Also the less expensive sleeping options will be outside of the airport. And Doha could be a cool city to check out.
Hi there thanks for beautiful video, we are planning to visit Bangkok with our 5 years old son, which hotel is best to stay? And we like to visit safari world and grand place too . We like to stay 4 nights in Bangkok. After that we will go Phuket.

Hi! I am traveling to Thailand in one month. Do you have any advice on how to find local bars and restaurants with cheaper prices?
Hi! They're actually not that hard to find. Google maps has a filter on price range, but strangely enough it doesn't always appear. Except from the main main tourist strips and the fancy places in Bangkok, most of it's in the price range you're looking for. Eating at night market's our favorite and a very good option price wise.
We love your channel- thank you! We’d love to know where you stayed in Chiang Mai! That little hotel with the centre pool. Looked awesome! We’ll be travelling with our boys 9 and 12.

I have a 45m transfer, it is one ticket from Qatar Airways, is it possible to make it?
That's tight! Maybe give the crew a heads-up on your first flight. They probably can give you the best tips. I've also seen them rush people to make connections before. Good chance that'll be you 😅 Good luck!

I’ll be going on my own so I’ll get the airport rail link I think rather than Taxi. With the Sim you’re given a package so you have take your home SIM card out and keep that safe?
Hi! That's it indeed. I've got a dual sim so could keep the other one in as well. Maybe also check put e-sims. Didn't cover that in the video but heard go stories lately. It's like a digital extra simcard.
haha. need too much confidence

always use superich exchange myself but i would never buy sim card at airport, far cheaper in shopping malls

Happy you liked it! And fun to hear that you've watched it all the way in northern Canada! 😊
Tried to figure out quite a few times that where did you reach to pay 330 Baht in taxi! Guess we'll have to count on 35 minutes=330 Baht! But it will be helpful if you can mention your destination.
Hey! It's 330 + 60 for the tollway + 20 per big bag or suitcase. Said that at 9:10 but better to ad the numbers on the screen next time to be more clear. I see that we didn't do that here. And we went to Bangkok Old Town. Mentioned earlier in the video. It's an area, but the price should be about the same as what we paid, no matter where you go in Bangkok Old Town.
Nice video, well constructed, and very informative with lots of practical advice. My first experience of driving in Thailand was in Bangkok around 15 years ago. A friend loaned me her Subaru Impreza. After two nerve-wracking days of trying to negotiate Bangkok's traffic, read road signs and dodge motor cycles flying in from every directions (not easy to do all at the same time), I gave up and left the Subaru in the parking lot under the condo I was renting and used taxis. But when I moved out to the more rural areas of Ang Thong and Khampang Phet, I found the driving experience slightly more relaxing. You are absolutely right. You need to be a confident driver but never be overconfident or cocky, leave that to the Thai's, and be aware that's how most of them drive. Make sure your driving documentation, international driving licence, insurances and passport, etc, are correct and up to date... you never know when or where the Thai police are going to put up one of their road check-points!
Hi David, thanks so much! And thanks for sharing your experience. Enjoyed reading it. Never driven in Bangkok myself. Can totally imagine it being on another level :)
