This is great! I've long wanted to get a way to talk to General MIDI drivers via SL. How can I get this and which viewer(s) are needed? We could so teach some serious music online with such a tool.

and lastly what plans do you have making something like this available for the average consumer rather than a buisiness? (I.e. I can see this as ideal progression of the babies that people have, have a NPC child avatar they can take care of and raise)

looked this up again reading your recent blog post about incorporating motivation and maslow's hierarchy, got a couple of questions, 1) are you planning on incorporating speech function? (i.e. a text to speech and a voice recognition?) 2) are you planning on incorporating a way that she can associate a nickname with an avatar (so she's not calling you by your full name all the time)

Definitely add the selective feed capability (but make sure it's more than just a single feed). I could see considerable value in streaming one set of tweets in my professional environment and another in my personal space.

Just be careful. Those planes might fly into your ear when your not paying attention. Getting one of those suckers out of your head can be a real pain. Or so I've heard.

I like it but I'm just a dumb internet marketer and don't see the uses yet... well, unless, of course, you want to step into my world and I'll brainstorm a few suggestions on making a LOT of passive income with that thing. You have to understand, it's not like I have a choice... my mind invents streams of income pretty much on autopilot and you've got something that can be very lucrative there.
