The pedals moved faster than my feet could keep up. The water splashing up against my already soaked jeans was only a tactile feeling as the rain poured down on me. I adjusted the grip on my handlebars and flicked the trigger to switch gears. A jagged jolt and then immediately I had torque again as I pushed uphill. The messenger bag hanging on my side bounced against my legs as I stood on the pedals. I can’t stop, I have to keep going, just a few more- And there it was the top of the hill, and a light waiting for a newspaper.

This sounds like it’d be the title or trailer theme for a space exploration game, well done!

I sit where the open door creaks. The wind pulls and pushes the misattached hinges and the four lines of the door frame don't line up with the factory square rectangle door. The screeches aren’t jarring anymore, they've become part of the symphony of the storm just past the threshold. The door’s movement constantly changes the picture frame I stare into. Painted with drops falling from darkness the world outside the light and heat I covet, the wooden patio glistens with the light trails escaping outwards. The gravel parking lot has begun to flood, creating puddles that mirror the heavens. The natural glimpses of the sky above are shattered by the very deity they try to reflect. The ripples are barely visible from my seat, but that doesn't keep me from moving to the edge of it. I shiver at the cold promise of unforgiving nature, drawn towards discomfort described so daintily with droplets. The asymmetrical cones of light create a parallax of prismic tears that mirror the ones dripping down my face. The trails of warmth wish they could create beauty as bountiful as an autumn shower. But instead of wiping them away, I let them fall. Wet splotches across the pages in my lap, ink spreading between the letters and creating meaning as the words are destroyed. The futile attempt to express how I feel erased by my own body's presentation of the emotion. Only for me to turn the page and try to start again. Thank you for creating music that inspires me to create. I hope you don't mind me using your comments for a place of writing practice.

Your works are always so well done. Not only is the music itself exceptional, but the title and the image are beautiful in their own right.❤ It genuinly spurs on so much emotion while I listen.❤ It reminds me of the growing chill through the late breeze, the browning of the autumn leaves, and of a narrow, winding road leading to someplace beyond what can be perceived by our eyes in the moment. It reminds me that this chapter of life is coming to a close, and as the pages of our story continue to pass us by, as the words we read blink away from our sight, we can only wait in eager anticipation for the next chapter to begin. Thank you Mr. Berkenbosch, this is truly beautiful. ❤
