Day as high rise window cleaner

Hi! In this video you will see one of my drops from last week on 20 story building. Enjoy!
I was wondering why he didn't tie off of an anchor
Do you also have to wipe the frames at the end or not?
Prob wouldn’t go back up
How can you possibly inspect those .
Comical name and rope name?
I’m a roof anchor inspector and can’t wait till I see u working on a building I approved 😂
Wonna see some papers lol?
Really?! Smh No way
Yes way
Lol you are so unsafe 😂😂
I am
Hi my friend! keep safe.are you hiring? Where is that place?
Hey mate! I'm not sure we are looking for techs at the moment, but you can ask my close friends from EcoBC, it's in Toronto. They might get you few contacts if you have some experience
Hi, where are you located
Toronto
Parabens. Impressive to your courage, you have to enjoy the views very much! The equipment is spectacular! Very prosperity in the wallet
Do you recommend any store to buy equipment like yours?
Depends where you are. Check out Rope Master, they have descent prices and ship world wide, but tax not included
Wow mate super fun watch. I'm a window cleaner, can't imagine how much they're paying you for this! Hope it's a lot. Stay cool bro
Thanks man!
Me personally, i wouldnt put out videos of me breaking several osha rules but as a fellow high rise window cleaner i respect the work 😂
If OSHA not on site - it doesn't exist ;)
@@vaskovskiykir6264 nah this is so sketch bro wtf is it really worth your life? I can't even imagine doing this shit without a bosun chair let alone doin this weird shit lmao get you some kevlar rope guards and a better bucket system
Hanging the bucket off the hand ascender! Bro I’m gonna try that sometime
You definitely should, works great
How much for cleaning?
Something around 40$/drop
Excellent work man! it was quite relaxing to watch actually. I would like to connect with you to understand the details of your work and possibly discuss a collaboration on a project. What would be the best way to get in touch?
@vaskovskiykir6264
Feel free to email me kirill.vaskovky@gmail.com, thanks!
LOBILLOS MUSICAL DE DURANGO…
Why don’t you post anymore? 🫡🇺🇸🇬🇧
On my way buddy, was a bit busy with the beginning of the season. Omg someone waits for my vid 😭😭😭
@@vaskovskiykir6264 hahaha bro the videos are gnarly 🫡🇺🇸🇬🇧
What the length of ropes you are using? Please
10.5mm, 200m/600ft
omg. bucket not tied down, yourself not always tied down as you should. man, you really are looking for dangerous situations.
I loved watching this video! You seem to be very calm and focused, and as a window cleaner myself, I know how important this can be! Do you work in Toronto as well?
Yep! Thanks for kind words ;)
Why the brush on the patio glass? Then the regular mop on the ground level? and hey....you missed a spot LOL
Ohhh no, where is it? On my way back! Btw there wasn't enough space to fit brush in-between concrete and glass at the lower part, so I used TBar for it
@@vaskovskiykir6264 Is there an advantaged to the brush? I do low-rise and route.
@@brianwestmoreland3836 I don't think that brush make sense on low rises/residential. Main advantage - it's not getting dirty as quick as mop does and give more "scraping" (not sure about the right word). It works good for large amounts of extremely dirty windows, as we do have on high rises. On low rises you need more accuracy, and brush have a lot of drips when you taking it from the bucket + you can't work with a pole. If you have really dirty windows down there - just use mop and technopad
Pure crazy!!!!!!
Maybe get a surface cleaner
I’d need minimum 30k a month I couldn’t do it 😂😂😂
I wish to get money like that dude XD
how much money do you make? is this a 40hr/week job? what happens to your trade in the winter months? thanks.
Alright, so step by step - salary depends, but working as employee and being pretty fast can get you up to 60k (CAD)/season (from april to early november). There are really few contracts in winter time, so we mostly have time off or different job. Overall, it's nice entry-level job for rope access industry or "ok" career, not sure it gonna work for you if you need stable income (mostly we get paid per piece aka more windows = more money), so if wether is bad, you are sick or any other reason - there is no income at all. On the other hand - some $$ on good days. Hopefully I answered, thanks for your interest
Hey Man, i do high rise in Winnipeg. I got quick question. Don’t you always suppose to put sign board and pylons and caution tape around the area where you work ?
It's not mandatory, atleast as far as I know. I had sign like "Worker overhead, caution", without tape, just a pole. It wasn't in the frame btw, thanks for noticing
@@vaskovskiykir6264 No problem man. How they pay in Toronto . Is it good ?
One word….respect..👊🏻
How much for cleaning ?
Won't remember exact number
I like your videos. But please be safe what u do there bro. I know how is feeling when you work In Heights because I work in Heights also in Heights buildings 💪🏻
Thanks man! Stay safe
They should be paid a lot for doing that
Not that much tho ;)
There is just way too many safety issues to comment about this video. Sorry.
And you commented ☠️☠️☠️
Please, please use an anchor to tie off a safety line once you are up on the upper roof while lifting up your water bucket! Doesn’t take much to fall while lifting your bucket.
I'm pretty sure it's there the whole time
This is the worst window cleaner I’ve ever seen
Okay
Knowing my luck I'd have to use the bathroom while I was up there lmao. And or forget something on my way up
Best of luck with such luck lol
i forgot my vape
Doesn't your rope get tension rubbed on the edges of the roof there without any protection?
Yes, it does, and it's my fault to leave it unpprotected. My bad
@@vaskovskiykir6264 no worries Buddy that was seriously impressive doing rope work and quite a nice squeaky clean too 🙃
@@Mike_5 Thanks man, appreciate it
Да
iron nerves
How you get a contract like this I don't know, but DAMN that looks like a Hell of a time!
It's not as fun as it looks ;) But getting job like this could be pretty easy. No tickets needed (for entry lvl), experience or any skills. A lot of companies hiring rn, before next season, take a look. But if you wonna this job as sub contractor / company owner - holy crap, best of luck
3 observations. 1) I would have both of my ropes equalised I saw that your backup is only on one anchor. 2) to work on your speed for window cleaning o would try to finish the window on 3 movements only. 3) look for the wagtail squeegee it would eliminate the need to change tools
Thanks! 1. Was discussed before, and yeah, I should Y hang both of them. My bad 2. Yes, that make senses and depends on windows 3. Prefer pair of tools, bc wagtail/moerman gets dirty really quickly on this amount of windows + personal preference But yeah, valid points, thanks a lot
I use moerman tools. It works better on 10 degrees or 5 degrees. Its much easier to turn. Try it 👍
Thanks man, wwill try on our next job! Do you use liquidator channel or with different one?
Liquidator channel 👍 10 degree or 5 degree works amazing. I find they are more natural for the moerman blade.
@@Davez2023 wow, that's interesting, I will try! Thanks
Tapping your squeegee rubber on the cement should be a sin
It is 🙃
Not one rag in sight lol he’s going to have to go back and wipe the windowsills down because he forgot rags
3 dirty and soapy sills aren't issue at 95%, especially here, when everything else is done. Welcome to high rises, nobody detail every window as we do on residential. If so, it cost much more
Hey man, I want to start with window cleaning, can't find any info how much should I charge per day, can u give me any tips?
Hey, never worked as self-employed, but be aware of stuff like insurance, commitment time, maybe ur teammate wage and local prices. For me sounds easier to work as sub contractor for larger firm - no pain with clients, ads, managments, yeah, you might make less, but you have more actual job
How tall are you ? Overhangs are killer with more equipment
I'm around 6ft and yeah, we use larger suction caps when needed
