Daang, whats with 90% of performers these days unable to hit clean vowels. I = high, understand becomes Hunderstand, and=Hand and so on ...endlesly. I understand it is easier to sing that way and that they were taught by their teachers but ya'all Merican teachers got it wrooong!!! ...seriously you're supposed to do it on the hard parts, not on every friggin lyric laying in your comfort octave. In the duet with Carry underwood she actually sings "I" where the guy repeatedly sings " High" it annoys the sh!t out of me cuz you can hear he too could easily sing it correctly. This is not country twang! or whatever ...and it certainly does not sound better to my ears. Look, all I'm saying is that we aren't opera singers, it's even ok if you are not 100% on the pitch all of the time. Luckily our voices are not trained to a level where they sound like all good wines tastes. You are supposed to be creators, artists, not crafsmen like (most) opera singers. This allows for the natural voice and real emotion to shine through... save the maneurisms for your high register please. ...just my cup of Estrella galicia.

I did it again, the last two years of the CMA's I got started but shortly shut it off. This year I started watching the highlights. Looks like the small amount of actual county artist actually have been indoctrinated into the new garbage, Thank you for totally ruining what once was Country Music, 3 times is a charm, never again will I waste my time.

I loved each and every song and person who sang during the CMT this year! You all help me more than you know. When you’ve been in your bedroom for almost 4 years from some girl giving you the second Covid shot in a nerve and over time it went down my left arm, leg made me cripple, then lose your daddy 3 months later then in 22 my spine came completely apart so had to have back surgery and so much more has happened since and still is. I thank you for sharing on U tube because I’ve never been to a concert in my life and I live an hour from Nashville and would give anything in this world to come to Nashville and see you ALL!!! It’s a dream of mine and always have been! Go all you COUNTRY SINGERS I LOVE YOU. I cry every time I hear this song of Brooks & Done… Because it reminds me of my favorite aunt whom also loved this song and I didn’t know until I went to her wake and they played it. God Bless you all. I love you all so very much. Please send prayers my way because the Lord has been in this room with me everyday since 21… I’m alone everyday but I know the Lord has been with me. Country music is doing the exact same thing that the big hair band LA scene did in the 80's with the over the top glamorized crappy music and we seen how that worked out . Rock has been dead for years and so has country . The good music is coming from independent artists who create , produce , direct ,and write their own songs and content.
