' th-cam.com/video/TZkvBLTbpyw/w-d-xo.html the mppts you are talking about are solar inverters combination of mppt+inverter+charger in a single box. this STH-1230 IS ONLY mppt. and yes you can drive 10 to 15 amps DC load like DC fans, DC LEDs, and DC water heaters directly with the output of sth-1230. no need to add another controller for load. but 345-watt pannel might be a 24-volt pannel so in that case you need to make 24 volt system. 1 or 2 345-watt pannel with sth-1230 solar pannel input and 2 12v batteries in series at battery input of sth-1230. and there should be no possibility of a mistake, any wrong connection you make can damage your controller, and batteries or can cause a fire. first, you must find out what the 345 pannel's voltages ??

My understanding is that if I connect the 345w panel to the STH-1230, it will give me a 12v output, and convert any volts above 12 to additional amps. Is my understanding wrong? If I install a 345w panel then I will not get 12v output but 24v? Im using 12v battery. So do I have to use 150w or 180w panels instead of 345w? The smaller panels are still expensive. While the branded 345w panels have become quite affordable, I was thinking of getting a 345w panel. That's enough for me. But you said it would give me a 24v output? So do I have to install smaller panels for 12v dc system?

You are getting abnormally good results because your solar panels have a very very bad heat tolerance. Try that again with a cheap 400wp TrinaSolar panel, you'll not even lose 10% at 70°C. What I'm basically saying is that it's much cheaper and easier to buy a decent solar panel than to water-cool a shitty one. But hey, if it works for you it's great! ;)

Friend, The small pump that is used to pump the water only consumes 8 watts, but it is making 160 watts more, as you see in the video. And that's not it. I use 1 pump on 3 SOLAR panels, But only 1 pump can be used on 6 SOLAR panels. if we talk technically then in 6 pannel cases it will make 320 watts more by just wasting 8 watts, The pump I use has a VERY high flow rate. actually, I did not live in the desert. I live in a moderate-weather area. this is a solar panel flaw. and there is no certified method to get rid of this flaw. if you have 40 degrees Celsius. the temperature of your solar panel surface will rise up to 65 to 70 degrees Celsius. in the desert, the conditions will be worse. if you have seen the complete video the temperature sensor is showing 60 degrees centigrade. but on that day the actual temperature was 38 degrees centigrade. and I am sure you know any temperature higher than 25 for solar panels will affect the solar power output. and here comes my cheap power boost idea. I drop the solar panel temperature down to 30 degrees. on a summer sunny day. which led to an 83% power increase. 197 watts to 350 watts. sometimes reach up to 360 watts.

I DON'T THINK SO. IT PROVIDE CONSTANT 400 TO 500 mA at charging points. No matters if you connected 1 battery or 5, SO according to me, it didn't heat up but number of batteries takes time to charge. And one thing more, if I fell heating while TESTING I definitely mention that in the video. But it will heat if you try to take 2A output from this module at its output side.

I have no idea that long because I don't have such devices. and this is a small off-grid system. but yeah it gives a clear difference. like I make more power by cooling and it also washes the panels every day. From these 3 panels On a daily basis, I was getting 1600 - 1800 watts "without cooling" and now I am getting 2500- 2700 watts "with active cooling". approx 1 kw increase in production on a daily basis. so here things get intrusting. if I have 6 panels the increase will 2 kw. if I have 9 panels I will get a 3 kw increase. means the bigger the solar power system bigger the increase.

TO BE HONEST. I HAVE BEEN USING THIS WATER SYSTEM ON MY SOLAR SYSTEM FOR 2 YEARS AND I DID NOT SEE THINGS THAT YOU SAID. 😌😌😌BUT YES ALGAE CAN APPEAR IN THE WATER TUB UNDER THE SOLAR PANNELS. BUT THAT CAUSE NO ISSUE ON SOLAR PANNELS. I CLEAN IT ONCE IN A MONTH.

It only runs for most of the day, not 24/7. That last hour of direct sunlight should dry it off most days. Assuming its recirculating adding a small amount of chlorine should eliminate that risk except over a long service life. Might be worth painting a coat of lacquer on the frame first. Possibly spray the back side of the panels instead.

IT IS KIND OF A LONG ROD WITH A MOTORIZED BRUSH AND A SMALL 12V PUMP TO PULL OUT DIRTY WATER FROM THE WATER BUCKET. AND ALSO I CAN PULL OUT THE WATER BUCKET IF I NEED TO. NOW I INSTALL TAB FILTERS. I LITTLE MODIFIED THEM. SO NOW DIRT IS NOT A BIG ISSUE. (I HOPE YOU UNDERSTAND MY ENGLISH) AND THIS IS ABOUT 2 YEARS OF THIS COOLING SETUP. I FOUND THIS TRICK VERY USEFUL. Well... some times this happens to me as well. If you have all tools. So you can make a new CIRCUIT in less than a $. I make a another one when one of my CIRCUIT causing me trouble. And I know it is little different to make the CIRCUIT but it is easy to make my given CIRCUIT after 1 or 2 attempts And do you know. You can convert this same CIRCUIT into light dependent switch.
