Iron Boulder Psychic vs Rain Dance Water - Pokemon TCG Gym Leader Challenge Gameplay
มุมมอง 6569 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
This game was played on September 16th at casual GLC league night over at the Gaming Clubhouse in Beaverton, OR against local player John. Thank you to John for volunteering to play on camera for the youtube channel to make content for you all to enjoy. I'm playing a Psychic deck built around the new Iron Boulder card from Stellar Crown which has a super powerful 2-energy attack that can only b...

This was one of several casual playtest games played between myself and Cory at the Cardboard Diamonds game store in Tigard Oregon on September 6th. Check them out if you're in the area: cardboarddiamonds.com/pages/events This time Cory is bringing out a wacky colorless list, originally designed by Guibz, that can take extra prizes with each knockout through a convoluted combo of manipulating p...

This was one of several casual playtest games played between myself and Cory at the Cardboard Diamonds game store in Tigard Oregon. Check them out if you're in the area: cardboarddiamonds.com/pages/events Cory was trying out the Turbo Water deck posted to Cardboardwarriors at the beginning of September, while I'm trying out a deck that utilizes Call Signal Magneton to go off with multiple suppo...
Extremespeed Fighting vs Tink-Gallade Psychic - GLC Pokemon "Clubhouse Games" League Finals
มุมมอง 92721 วันที่ผ่านมา
This was the finals match of a 10-player GLC tournament at the Retrogames Clubhouse Pokemon GLC League night where I played against Landon in the 4th round after we both went undefeated after 3 rounds. This is the first video of a brand new channel. I'm hoping we'll be able to put more if Landon is able to record more gameplay for me at the store when I can't make it. Please subscribe if you wa...
love the narration! Salve from brasil to you
As the person with the colorless list, the card is mid in the list.
If you go to the B'More CBW post, I made a write up on my opinions on the card, and essentially, because you want to turn Raihan or Mela on, you want to have a fire in the discard and with the current energy split it's not enabled often enough to do the acceleration on turns where you'd not rather play another supporter
Pretty good idea for a video! I've been thinking of something similar. Fun analysis of what has been doing well! Thanks for the shout! And you're right. The bronzong is wrong there and should be the "metal links" Zong. Metagross should be the "emergency entry" Meta. It's just not available on Twinleaf yet. Haha
Yo this was awesome. Thanks for the shout outs to the Bmore squad
Thanks for shoutout on my dragon list! Raging Bolt has been amazing! Pandatar's fighting list was also awesome! I didn't get to see him play it when he went 3-0, but he took down Whales with in it the finals so it's def got some legs.
Was expecting a lot from the New joltik😢
Nice editing and sound effects. GLC seems like a pretty cool format.
It's super fun! A really great way to take a break from Standard for sure.
love the gameplay content! thanks for your work
Nice Iron Boulder deck 😎
Awesome video as always! The overlays and commentary are golden. That early hand disruption was sick!
Being local to the area, it’s really cool to see you talk about the history/legacy of your opponent. Really adds to the fantasy of GLC that I think is quite appealing. Thanks for another sweet vid!
Really awesome video! I liked the narration style, thorough and easy to follow. Also, the noises for the attacks were really fun :] Keep up the great work!
can you guys please play a 4way free for all glc game. i do not have enough friends to play a 4 way free for all. nor a 3 way. nor a 1v1 for that matter.
Do you have a link to the rules for 4-player GLC?
@@GLCTV-q9b there are no rules. i would assume you would just play as normal but with 4 people going in clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. also since i got the inspo from mtg commander i also thought each player could have an "ace" pokemon they dont have to search for like in magic the gathering commanderformat's commander. but thats complicating things. for simplicity i would say just play GLC with 4 people.
Excellent quality and cool deck using Excadrill!!!
Quality stuff!
Good stuff keep it up!
Just got into GLC, both decks look fun and you explained them both very well! Thanks
The quality on these videos is premium. Looking forward to more!
Thank you for this videos!!! Greetings for Ecuador, South America
I love those sfx
Live cheesy chansey but man its a hell of a deck to pilot
really cool videos man keep it up
Loving these GLC videos. The time and effort put into these really shows! Great deck choices and the full desklists at the beginning are perfect for people looking to get into GLC. Keep up the great work!

Cheesy Chansey 😂
I like the haxarous a lot. I just got a few copies of Crispin so here comes another hair pulling decision on what to take out in dragon ( or any GLC deck) for that supporter lol.
I ended up just cutting Professor's Letter for Crispin and it felt like a pretty good upgrade.
@@GLCTV-q9b interesting, that card is basically a staple in most decks. I might just have to do that. Thanks.
Great video! Chansey is a tricky deck to play. but it being packaged with colorless makes up for it. Snorlax, Cyclizar, the draw power and the double energies is ridiculous. All this while having a chance to take 2 prizes!
Love the game play. Thanks for the GLC content. More please!!!
Loving the GLC content man
Great content, love to see GLC community expanding. Honest question: is it legal to run explorer's guidance + hapu? Isn't it like using lysandre + boss's orders (which is not legal)?
Yes it is! The ruling for Lysandre and Professor Juniper/Sycamore are specific to just those cards, and are rules carried over from expanded to keep you from running 8 copies of Boss or Research, but there is no such rule for Hapu, so you could actually run 4 Hapu and 4 Guidance in an Expanded format deck, which means you can run 1 of each in GLC. There are many other cards in the game that are functionally nearly identical but do not violate the singleton clause. That includes cards like Gloria and Brigette, Double Colorless Energy and Twin Energy, Muscle Band and Dark Claw, etc. And in fact Explorer's Guidance and Hapu are not actually identical, as the Ancient tag on Guidance means it's possible it will interact differently than Hapu with other cards, such as Great Tusk.
@@GLCTV-q9b Great to know it! I believe it also goes the same with Mallow / cryptomaniac for example. Gonna take it in consideration for my future deck buildings
Had a good time watching and following the video. Some of the animations threw me off at first but I ended up coming around to them. Thanks for sharing and excited to see more for Oregon!
Great game! Love the editing, the hard work paid off!
Dang Beaverton is 40 miles away from me. Would it be worth it to go to the next one? 🤔
Oof that sounds like a 90 minute drive? After recently driving over an hour to play some GLC I've decided that kind of time commitment isn't worth it for me, but if you do make it down on a Monday I can guarantee you will get some games in, there's always at least a few GLC players there on Mondays.
Thank you for creating some great GLC content! The overlays are really nice and these videos are Top Tier! Keep up the great work!
Glad to see a new GLC channel! Looking forward for future content!
love to see more people uploading GLC matches, keep it up !
Very well done. Good explanation of the decks for non-glc players. Best part you said in the intro, im going to attempt to get your fighting badge. You didn't spoil the outcome, which made me want to watch the full thing!
The shellder that retreated in early game 1 has 2 retreat cost and shouldn't have been able to do so
Good catch! I was cheated! Seems like maybe a different Shellder would be more optimal for that deck.
Howdy! I'm a regular at Cardboard, surprised to see folks I know on TH-cam haha. I'm also building a Palafin deck quite similar to Cory's. Though it is with Seismitoad and Froslass instead, aggro+control. I got the list from Tricky Gym and just waiting for the cards to arrive :) Hope I can test it out against yall soon!
Another engaging match. I'm really enjoying the crazy numbers this deck can hit. Max damage is 190 with tools and abilities.
subscribed, please keep games coming..............im well jealous hahaha
Great video and commentary man!
This is so well done
Update the description with clickable blue URL deck links pls.
@@SeniorAdrian apparently it takes a day for TH-cam to verify my identity and have clickable links, but I will update it as soon as it's available.
@@GLCTV-q9b Good. Subbed.
