Sooooo GREAT !
Sgoinnel!
I first heard this song on the radio when I was on my way back from France (Why Won't You Touch Me) after this summer, and it sounds so beautiful! It's definitely one of my favourite songs now. The emotions I get from listening to it are so special, and it just reminds me of that journey where I was reflecting on my wonderful time in France!
It's like Celtic Jazz! Just brilliant!
"A horn pipe that's actually a reel." 🤣
That's cute. You keep each other from panicking. My dudes, there's never any need to even be nervous! No one judges you as hard as you judge yourselves!
Suberb version of a great song, with Mark Clements doing real justice to the vocal!
Tiree at its Best 🥳🥳🥳, so many great Musicians from such a small isle 🏴🏴🏴
Thank you so much for this gem ❤️ Grew up with their album Choice Language which is from this same year, and this is the first time I hear/see live clips with songs from that album. An absolute gem that I'll never tire of.
Beautiful, thankyou
I know that tune, La Bastringue. Who was that old canuck fiddler? The taxi driver?
I love to see a young Ally and phil.
xxxxxxxxx
An honour to see them in Tobermory ..Made an epic journey from Iona for the weekend in the 90's Tee Hee !!
Amazing! Even their "older" tunes are stunning. Thanks for sharing the concert!
this was a big part of my childhood playing an Accordion, watched this with my Nan many times, and still watch it again on a Saturday after work, nostalgia, and envy, that i may play, but will never be so good on stage
Splendid ❤
So good!!! xx
...Been looking for this for a long time (ever since I wore out my VHS copy). Thank you for uploading this!!

A match made in heaven
Fantastic musicianship!!!
Wonderful. Evokes the wonderful place where we live. Thank you.
Lovely stuff! Kamloops is in the middle of British Columbia, btw!
One of the greatest pieces of music. Will never not love that outro
What a delightful gift of melody and the Irish lands! Thank you! 💚💚🌳🕊
Très beau,j adore.
I directed & edited this for Navigator Records with Glenda Rome, Russel Beard, Ian Stoddart & Dylan Matthew on camera as well, gorgeous concert!
Brilliant stuff Ally & Phil! Love your enduring and everlasting love, friendship and partnership!! Great to heart such great music. It always strikes at the heart of the present and the future with an added depth of understating for the past with bounteous sprinkles of pleasant pleasure and nostalgia; bringing and knitting people from all walks of life and backgrounds together Well Done!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
In the era where there seems to be a plethora of people who seem to think that playing everything at breakneck speed is what makes a fiddler, Aly once said to me something that I found pretty profound. He put his hand on my shoulder and said, "You can play jigs and reels as fast as ye like; onybody can play fast, but it's the playing of a slow air that makes the fiddler who he is". I've never forgotten that and never has a truer word been spoken. Aly and Phil playing slow airs just makes the goosebumps run up and down your spine and gives the heartstrings an almighty tug!
Oh, to see these boys live would be a dream come true. Many, many tears...my spirit soars 😯🥺😂
Awe, pure gold xx

Memories of the old days.🎼🎶👍🎻
Love it especially the oft told tales of Fergie. These two can easily make a huge audience feel as though they are in wee pub in the back of beyond. Top musicians and top people.
I just love this and at such a time of great sorrow for me. Losing my mother. Thank you so much. So comforting.

Bravo👏👏👏... Scotland at it's best.
FYI, in the credits at 51:13 it says (c) 1989, not 1994. Thanks for posting.
Well spotted! I've amended the description. Thanks! 🙂
Such a gift! Found this on New Years Eve when I really wanted Scottish music and here it was… at my fingertips. Such a deep listening pleasure.
Du bon son...
