Marvel's The Defenders: Brahms String Quartet scene
มุมมอง 17K7 ปีที่แล้ว
Scene from Episode 2 of Marvel's The Defenders where Alexandra Reid listens to the end of the first movement of Brahms's String Quartet Op.51 No.1 in C minor. Performed by the Aeolus Quartet
Op 51 c minor last 53 seconds allegro
This series is just so perfect
Kingpin staring into a blank wall is absolute cinema
Make a better world, Kal.
🖼
All that it matter is how u can evade taxes with it so stop with bs in the comments why not sit at home and stare at blank paper instead of wasting money
It would be interesting if we had a QueenPin and she went against people like Karen Page and Jessica Jones
Has this scene been cut out of Season 1 on disney plus? I don't remember seeing it.
Disney will absolutely ruin this mythos. Never forget the original daredevil trilogy.
this show is just so good
The big bad of this series, his first appearance, we see him in a vulnerable state, and he tells a girl he likes that he feels alone. Then the next episode he crushes a guys head with a car door. Omg! Incredible characterization!
THIS IS MY FAVORITE EPISODE AND VERY VERY ARTISTIC AND ITS HAS A WONDERFUL PLOT AND THE CHOPIN NOCTURNE IS SO BEAUTIFUL AND VERY VERY PEACEFUL 🎵🎵🎶🎶🎶🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼👨🦲👨🦲👨🦲👨🦲🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎵🎶🎶🎶🎶🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼🎼👨🦲👨🦲👨🦲👨🦲🎼🎼🎼 THIS SCENE FROM DAREDEVIL SEASON 1 IS AWESOME 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Ayelet Zurer should return in the MCU on Daredevil: Born Again, but this time she should play Rosalind Sharpe, the attorney from Boston.
I wish art can make me feel something
Daredevil Season 1 & 2 was the absolute peak of the MCU. Far above what even the best of the movies did.
Season 3 too imo
I dont like and understand paintings like this b4 this scene
I will be incredibly disappointed if this painting is not in the new Disney Plus show. That painting itself was like a character in the show
Was listening to the song a little while back and heard the part at 1:19, couldn't figure where I knew it from. Even checked the wiki article on the song and nothing there seemed familiar. only about 5 minutes of brain searching later did I land on this scene. And a fantastic scene it is. One of the best villain introductions I've seen. It subverts every expectation a viewer has of the villain
What a scene, what a character, what a show.
I love how they captured the attraction of Kingpin with Vanessa.
the woman heading the orchestra group here looks like sigourney's daughter!
and now they recast vanessa with a anorexic actress

lovely couple
Makes me feel like I've been gypped.

Name song?
back when writing and plot mattered rather than politics and propaganda
This show is literally all about politics..
@@komplecks888 identity* politics
Ah yes, the good old days of, *checks notes*, 2015.
@@komplecks888 Yes but it's not left-wing at its core, unlike 99% of hollywood
@@SteveNathnthe protagonist is a disabled man and the main villain is basically the embodiment of unchecked capitalism what are you talking about?
i like how this scene makes everyone in the comments section happy but it pisses me off how vanessa had the audacity to forcibly take the painting from a holocaust survivor in the last season. she is just as evil as fisk.
This was so deep like idk it made me feel emotional best explanation of art❤️🔥💯
I'm going to echo the other comments here: This scene (and the one later where he's staring at it and having flashbacks) changed how I view art. I finally understood how people can buy a giant canvas with a tiny circle in the corner. This is one of the most beautiful TV scenes ever.
I honestly didn't expect the painting to be so important throughout the entire series, lol.
1:05
Damnn vanessa is a bomb
1:15 That's a look that says, "...Well shit, now I'm in love."
1:06 League Of Legends players looking at their maxed account
Yeah our boy is back
Heideggerian
It makes me feel alone......
They should have got the big show or Brock lesnor to play kingpin becuase there the only people that can match is physicality this actor is great but he’s not physically imposing like the comics like he should be
He is the most perfect actor for a role I have ever witnessed. The way they film him sometimes gives him that exact aura of his physically imposing radiating violence presence. There are some scenes where its a little less and he looks fat, yeah.
Yeah true, but I value performance and emotional investment more than physicality etc. Just like Hugh Jackman not being the right height. People love him anyway
Congratulations: your idea of casting one of two lunkheads from WWE to play one of the most sophisticated and Machiavellian crime bosses of all comic books was so stupid that it made me laugh hard enough to cry.
He’s chonky af in hawkeye, are you happy now?
A stupid scene that attracts pretentious people
Poor Piggle Wiggle
is that why you’re here?
I just listened to well parts of the whole composition by Balourdet String Quartet, who performed the above piece.. that is not the end, I actually don't know what part of the actual composition it was, I didn't want to listen to 32 minutes of it..
It's the final minute of the first movement.
@@classicalclips9614 Thank you so much
Searched for this scene after watching a this short explainer video about why blank white artwork costs so much. th-cam.com/video/9aGRHOpMRUg/w-d-xo.html
What is Superman's mother doing here with kingpin, I guess she survived the destruction of krypton lol
Canceling this show was criminal.
Let’s be grateful things didn’t get as bad as Game of Thrones
At least it ended on a high note. “A thing is not beautiful because it lasts.”
@@MrPjw5ending with just 3 seasons naturally is good but the show was cancelled.
I don’t know why this scene stands out so much more than any other in this series to me. I love it; for some reason.
It's the Chopin playing in the background
Because it happens at the end of the third of three episodes we’ve gone without seeing the main antagonist, only hearing about him in hushed whispers from underlings or associates. We don’t know much about him, but know that he is very connected, very meticulous, and very ruthless. This is emphasized in the scene just before this one, where a battle-hardened, highly skilled hit man and martial artist chooses to kill himself rather than go to jail after giving up the main antagonist’s name, simply because he’s that afraid of said antagonist. Not to mention the manner in which this hit man kills himself is rather brutal and shocking; right after that, we jarringly transition to a more relaxed atmosphere for socialites and aristocrats to gawk at expensive works of art. It further emphasizes just how detached and indifferent this antagonist is from the violent world we’ve been venturing through since the first episode. And we couldn’t be more fascinated by him.
I think it's because he's not your typical bad guy, he gets nervous asking a woman out, you see his ocd rituals, he's a very human villain if that makes sense
This still makes me cry. I think about Fisk so much
Like in a sexual way?
I think in the same way painters did with beautiful sights. I think the Fisk relationship is sooooo ROMANTIC! That was the good in him, and he embraced his shadow as we see him monologue in the swat vehicle. His jail arc is so good too
Fuck other comments! I understand what you mean. He is such a great character. I would go on to say he is the best mcu villain but as the scene says these things are more subjective than objective. Others won't get what it makes us feel.
@@chintandoshi2291 We know exactly what he means, we just don't drink that much soy milk.
In Episode 5 the end of Symphony No. 1 (in C minor!) is used.
Vanessa Fisk, A.K.A. The Queenpin.
Nice
