Would love to see how you connect the D+ wire for the DC - DC charger.. I've heard it can be done via the cigarette lighter socket. I don't fancy splicing in to the ignition wire, 🙄 any info would be much appreciated man ✊
Why are you looking to splice into an ignition wire for the dc to dc charger? Just unsure I am just running a live cable from the starter battery to the dc to dc charger

Are you having solar panels on your roof with batteries
I have already fitted the solar panels to the roof got 350w which is what charges the power station

Thanks I really want to get out and test it like you say probably will end up make some changes once I see how it all works together.
enjoy it, mine is now 80% done and just drove to Portugal and back for 3 weeks, with that also a few changes for the better. you get to see what works etc. I recommend Wales for a UK trip out.@@VanlifeVentures
What’s your thoughts on the build and any ideas for the overhead cab space?
That’s a lot of talking about 8 mil 9 mil and then and then 9mil. Build it!
I know how you feel in this crap continuous winter rain. I have been trying to paint my van for the last four weeks.
It’s relentless everyday I go to work on the van it chucks it down today being no different than any other. Hope the rain stops so you can get your van painted.

Thanks Kev not to sure how many more hours to complete some of the next stages of the build will be more about cost. I am aiming for the summer for completion
