Kele Le Roc Live on Stage at Private Birthday Party (25th August 2013)
Oh, Bernard Matthews. I misread it as Bernard Manning, and spent the whole time thinking how little the house or Loyd's clues fitted him. I wonder about the Yorkshire frontcap. How did a show airing in 1989 still feature a frontcap, given that they were decommissioned across the whole ITV network at the end of 1987?
Would I be able to use some of this footage in a documentary for a university project?
Hi, yes sure, please email drone@ashleyhunt.co.uk with a little more information
Mike read is now 77
Doesnt it make u sick.
This is an April 1989 episode from the British TV panel show "Through The Keyhole" on ITV and it's during season three. 🇬🇧 🇬🇧
Noel Edmonds was great. Loved his TV shows too. What a presenter
😂😂😂
Hi Ashley, do You have Mike Read In Cash In The Attic, or one of the others He was In. Thanks for this, missed It first time round.
They'll soon have to move Belle Toute again!
Reid...great actor and comedian. Read - racist record making, far right prick
Mike Read was a pratt then too
4:56 Bill Oddie looks as if he's having his mugshot taken at a police station.
Thanks for sharing this.
My pleasure!
Reid and Read.
Mike Reid and Read
I remember watching this very episode while being on a sick day from Junior School. Vivid memories of Bill's house
Bootiful house 😅
Wow 2 Mikes of the same surname different spelling.
Ashley, what made you put this on here? I actually watch it on Challenge. Russell.
Mike is on Regency Radio, originally posted to share with the gang. Surprisingly its had a few thousand views :)
@@AshleyHuntBrighton it's my new Guilty pleasure, I've set the box to record it 😆
Mikes Read and Reid. Clever stuff.
The Jimmy Savile 1989 episode won't be shown, I hope.
Chris Tarrant often got mistaken for Jimmy Saville. Roland Rat said one of it😂😂
@@rajnirvan3336I always thought Chris Tarrent looked like Geoffrey from Rainbow lol
@@stephenduncan3605 😄 🤣 😂
Its on you tube. Very good. Should have been re titled "through the bumhole"
Tarrant seemed to said Savile but was cut though not Cyril Smith.
Some he would often get mistaken for 😂😂. He even done impression of him from time to time
Good lord, this is a far more ridiculous show than I remember! "It's an artistic person... Cooking? Painting? A performer?" Cue round of applause... so basically just list professions until you get it right! Sweet Jesus, the things that passed for "entertainment" back then
I know couldn't stop watching it xxx
I've always known it in my heart, but I now accept that Through The Keyhole was sometimes an impossible game to play and win at. For Mike Reid, of the Frank Butcher variety, there were absolutely zero clues. "Let's look at the evidence.". Said Loyd. "The thatched birdhouse. The electric Stradivarius. The ugly duckling.". Oh, I know. Must be Mike Reid... said nobody, ever. You'd have to go a long way to find three worse clues to the identity of Mike Reid. Through The Keyhole was ludicrous. I love it.
@97channel Mike Reid DID have a hit single in the 1970's with a song called "The Ugly Duckling" and also hosted kid's gameshow Runaround.
mike "Frank butcher" reid did a single pop song called "The ugly duckling"
As poor clues go it's up there with 321 "a sty full of pigs, that rhymes with figs, fig rolls - rolls royce yes you've guessed it it's a hairdryer!" 😂
@@npc3po301 I've always remembered Frank Skinner talking about 321 clues on Fantasy Football, one time. "Spain... Rhymes with drain... And what does a drain smell like? A dusty bin!".
@@97channel haha
Superb all round entertainer/presenter. Miss you Noel
Edmonds was no fool..
This is so interesting. 1:22 "...and STEREO!!!" Just cracked the technology! I remember so well it was always 1548AM / 95.8FM or something. DJ's really have a completely different skill set now. Mostly talking about themselves and not listening to any guests, it seems. 3:43 imagine reading out someones address on national radio to millions now lol!! See you in court.
Really pleased to come across this upload, thanks a lot! Sonique
I remember those days and I remember the guy interviewed at 02:15
On Tuesday Jan 18th 1977 when this was filmed, the BBC Radio 1 schedule was = 7am Radio 1 Breakfast Show with Noel Edmonds. 9am Tony Blackburn. 12pm Paul Burnett. 2pm Ed Stewart (Radio 2 simulcast). 4.30pm It's D.L.T. OK! 5.45pm until 6pm Newsbeat. Then as Radio 2 until 11pm. 11pm until Midnight John Peel.
☺🙏🎶
great days. radio really was the life of the nation, far more than tv
You've some memory. Thanks

What a privilege 👏 👌 Love Kele
Adore Kele. She is so talented, so humble, beautiful inside and out, she loves her fans and she has always worked damn hard despite some bad experiences, especially with her first management contract that stopped her recording music for several years after the success of her debut album. So glad she is free.
Just brilliant
What
Nice of the BBC to use the stereo simulcast as the audio source to this upload... not! 🙄
Andrew Smith hmm didn't they start Nicam stereo on Wogan from 1986 but only from the Crystal Palace transmitter ?
@@digitalmediafan - I've heard various stories. I think 1991 was the year that Nicam really took off for the BBC, but I believe there were test transmissions before that, but from (like you said) the Crystal Palace transmitter only and on Channel 4. I thought that was 1989. Nicam stereo equipment was not on sale in 1986 as far as I can remember. I meant someone could've synced it with the "BBC Radio 1" stereo simulcast. You could do that with stereo VHS recorders at the time. Remember, there was a difference between a stereo VHS recorder/player and a Nicam Stereo VHS recorder/player. The former were available a lot earlier.
Was it expensive to hire her? I totally would for my birthday. Went she went "olly olly olly" I swear I would have been like "balls in the trolley." Not on purpose, but because I only know that version lol.
Jay West Kele was great, a true pro. Reach out to her on Twitter, that is what Birthday boy Lars did. Good luck in your quest ;)
loved you then and love now Kele , the most underated british soul singer ever
shes a bad ass singer them people didnt deserve to have her at there party just standing there nodding there heads my love is the best tune ever and the crowd just stood there rocking there heads the place would have been jumping if it was my party big up to kelly le roc shes badass

There a bit wishy washy when it comes to upload.
Yeah good old times but Creation gone long ago it was Hed Kandi Bar that also it's gone couple of months ago the massive club area as empty again...
Hey, just curious if I can run my ipod into the mic jack... Basically to record a video (without external sound).. the only sound obviously would come directly from the ipad jacked into the mic with a 1/8th jack... would this work?
