I can understand the passion behind the last faith. Studio succeeded to create a dense environment with nice visuals. I really can see what they re trying to achieve. But man... this game is like a school project if you compare it to blasphemous 2. Even 1 is far far beyond it.

The coolest thing I found about Blasphemous 1, which I wish was in the second aswell, is that the descriptions of all prayers are actual poems and chants.

I made the mistake of playing Blasphemous 2 first. Just beat it and hopped into first game....not having a mid air dash or double jump makes it feel very limiting and I don't want to continue lol.

I've played blasphemous 1 and i found it so easy that i did'nt really liked it at all. It had a nice vibe, but the bosses were soo easy, i did'nt found it challenging. I'm thinking if i should play the second one, any recomendations? Here are some metroidvanias i liked (great challenge and ambience): - Hollow Knight - Ender Lilies - Grime - Nine Souls

Personally I like the last faith more excellent weapon variety great combat good soundtrack and overall great area design and exploration in my opinion it's a 10/10 and way better than the other 2 games

Honestly like the animation way better for RDR2 but like the graphics better in TLOU. The saddle in TLOU looks way more detailed and has more depth to it which really catches my eye

I just wish they could keep the graphic style like in first game and the pace of B2 is a little to fast for me but both of them are still great

I really don't understand why everyone likes Blasphemous so much. The curves of mechanics, a bunch of bugs, a huge amount of backtracking, the developer tries to delay annoying things as much as possible. And for the platform 5 challenges, the game does not deserve any good reviews at all.

Last Faith music sounds like someone farted

Blasphemous 1 and 2 are absolute masterpieces of the genre. The art, gameplay and music are stunning, the lore is mysteriuos and intriguing, the overall atmosphere is just perfect. The last faith could have been a good game, but it fails when it comes to gameplay and controls as it should have been way smoother. I play on switch, and the lag that I find in the controls is just annoying. I really hope that they will release a patch, but I doubt they will do.

I do not like Abby at all, but her set pieces are so much more fun! That skyscraper chapter is my favorite and patient 0. While Ellie is kinda of just stuck in Seattle/FarmHouse/Running & Gunning.

Lost Crown needs to be the new benchmark for Search Action games. There is hardly anything at all that game did poorly, honestly the worst part of the game is the lackluster story, everything else SLAPS.

BP2 no wonder

No matter how I try to love B2 (it's more beautiful, well crafted, polished feeling), B1 had an atmosphere, pacing and characters that B2 cannot contend with. B2 is just too cartoonish, vibrant and upbeat in comparison. It's lost some of the gothic, dark tone of the original. And the gameplay in 2 feels more like Dark Souls which is a negative for me personally.

Blasphemous made me play new platformer again after many years.. It's a very unique game with great replayability, story, music, art.. So if I had to choose one - Blasphemous 1.. Never played Blasphemous 2, cause I will never approve casual approach like spikes dont oneshot etc, I loved hardcore Blasphemous 1 platforming, but B2 is not a game, its whiner's service. Last Faith I enjoyed very much, very good game too, and music.. But I felt it was too short and linear, offers few choices to make. Great game anyways, enjoyed it very much!

I honestly enjoyed B2 better than B1. Sometimes the insane difficulty is frustrating...I still have yet to beat the DLC from B1....I wish I could figure out how to access that crap!!!!!!!!!!

Blasphemous 1 is so much better than the sequel, it's insane. I get what they were trying to do, but it feels like they were chasing other Metroidvania's with the added features and they gave up or watered down what made the first one so unique. Just look at the intro cutscene and lore behind Mea Culpa vs having a choice of 3 weapons just handed to you. On top of taking features from Mea Culpa and splitting it across different weapons...why? So you could have the fun of weapon swapping? Meh.

The video doesn’t do WuKong justice. It looks like CGI movie on the PC. It’s a culmination of animation, graphics, and art design that puts this on another level over God of war. GOW is a great looking video game. Wong is a great looking animated movie.

Blasphemous 1 great game but doesn't have much of variety and gameplay, few bosses, B2 good game but lost part of its escence, it's aesthetics became more cartoonish and bringing back the penitent one is a mistake. Last Faith is a good game, but forgetable. Too bad we don't talk about Castlevania anymore, it would be great if Konami made a Castlevania inspired in the Souls Series and bringing Blasphemous 1 and last faith atmosphere.
