@@naptown4200 now that I think about it, I think the only thing I did was pull that little piece out that keeps the battery safe and just pointed it at the radio. In fact, I know I never did anything unique to set it up.

They're holding up well. I do drive them on the street, but have only done so in dry conditions. No issues going 60 mph on the highway or 120 mph on the track.

@phireburd2000 That's good to hear I'm about to pick up a set its not a daily driver but I do drive to the track and was worried about them wearing out fast.

Check the horn fuse

If you can hear the "clicking" sound with the turn signal engaged, then your flasher is working. I'm pretty sure you've got a shorted DRL Socket.

I have never personally removed the battery, so I can't confirm charging it outside of the scooter. From what I know about car batteries, I'd say yes it's possible. However, please try it at your own risk. It's really flat where I live, so I don't encounter any hills ☺

@@gto-st5qm I found the Eibach Springs used on ebay many years ago. On the front I'm running Lakewood Drag "Shocks" (they are still struts) and the rears are Competition Engineering 3-Way Adjustable Shocks.

I misspoke....you are correct! I watched them finish the Battle of the Thrones a day early. The clip in my video is indeed from the No Mercy event. It started a day early on Wednesday. To add insult to injury, you can even see the No Mercy logo in the upper-left corner of the tv.

The door plugs are a great idea! Thank you for the kind words, and for the tip about the door plugs.

I'm sure anything is possible with a little creativity. The stock drum brake does a great job of stopping, so the noise is more of a nuisance than anything else.

Both are no longer in business....the FMC Plant is in a partially torn down state and has been for years. A recycling business currently uses a portion of the property, and almost all of Stokelys building is gone and replaced by a lumber/truss facility.

I'm thinking it was a combination of cheap ratchet straps and me also using them improperly. I pulled all the slack out before ratcheting them tight, and that is apparently the wrong way to do it. I've since learned that you need a few turns worth of strap on the ratchet mechanism before it gets tight. I've learned my lesson....and am thankful the incident didn't get anyone else hurt.

I was surprised that they weren't originally enclosed on the back side. I don't have dirt to deal with like yourself (I drag race), but I still wouldn't want the wheels exposed to the car as I haul it.
