The shimano that is no2 is one of the worst for touring. The clip in side gets clogged really easy. The flat side is slippery compared to many others. The spring also has a tendency of rusting and getting stiff making it hard to unclip

Been playing with Solinco Hyper-G cross, VS Natural Gut mains for years. Switched recently to 17G Hyper-G cross and 17G Head Rip Control mains. Obviously feels different. Not as softer as gut. So far I like it though.
