Creative shots with Mavic 3 Waypoints | The Results are Epic!
Amazing view and i love your enthusiasm and joy, you are quite talented at narrating. But you should work on your technical knowledge, no need to buy a 7 inch for mid range flights or 10 mins of flight time. My 4 inch flys 10 min with gopro, 22 without (2200lion pack) and i do 3 km without a sweat. In the moz i search for 10 to 20 km flights and 20 to 25 mins of flight time… though i agree that theb bigger plattform should help with security and reserves 😊 For me this is no review not even a great help when deciding what to buy, but ! Its a nice vid very well produced, so keep up the work, just maybe stick to what you rly know, not what you assume could be right. Best wishes and cheers from austria
Only 15 minutes of flying with Mavic 3 Pro per battery??? What a lie! 30 to 37 minutes at least before 1st landing recall with my DJI Mavic 3 Cine per battery. Batteries are given for theoretical 46 minutes. And 1 to 2 minutes less with my DJI Mavic 3T ! Air 3, also theoretically 46 minutes, I can expect 30 to 36 minutes before 1st recall. Mini 3 Pro, theoretically 34 minutes with standard battery, in real life 20 to 25 minutes before 1st recall. Theoretically extended battery is given for 47 minutes, in real life, 30 to 37 minutes before 1st recall. Overall, time of flying with Mavic 3 or Air 3 is quite identical, and absolutely for sure batteries don't just provide only 15-20 minutes of flying with Mavic 3.
Good stuff man. New Sub!!! Taking my 3.5 inch whoop to an Olympic stadium in China tomorrow morning. Let's see if I can also push myself a bit and get that epic footage
Great review. Quick question, what filters are you using for the dl lenses. I cant find anything out there. Thanks!
hey man, im using the DJI DL filters from the DJI website, they work great and are specifically designed for the x9
@@LucizenVisuals Yeah, cant find that filter set anywhere : (. Out of stock or n/a
Nice footage and talk. Thx I^m a still photographer and currently own a Mavic 2 Pro. Currently there are a hew i2 at reasonable price with the Z7 camera, so I'm thinking about buying one to have aerial image qualiy on pair with my R5. So my question is based on your experience, is-it possible to fly an i2 as a single pilote for still shooting. If so, how far is it from the expererince of flying the Mavic 2 pro with the smart controller? Thx in advance for your informed inputs on this matter. Bst rgds
hey man, thanks for the support. Flying an inspire single op is definitely do able. I recently purchased an inspire 3 and i just did a professional video job as a single operator. Especially if you are just doing photos it will be very similar to flying the MP2, its just a larger and clunkier drone. But to be honest I probably wouldn't invest in such an old drone. I would recommend picking up a newer Mavic 3. The reason being is because since you are coming from an older drone the remote, camera and whole system is much more modern and for stills I think it will match well with your r5
@@LucizenVisuals Thx for your inputs. I did some comparisons - for stills - between Mavic 3 and Mavic 2 Pro and saw no IQ improvements (my feeling is improvments were developped for video). My aim is to dramatically improve my IQ compare to my Mavic 2 Pro (Dynamic range, noise level, and optical quality). For sure an i3 with the Z9 will be on par with my R5... but at a too high price point to me. Currently, I've got a few opportunities to buy second hand i2 with Z7, cadence, 6 to 8 batteries and optics for a price point arround 3 to 4 grands. Final decision is not made, that's why I'm seeking information from informed users such as you. So based on this backgroud... what do you think ? Any inputs from other users are more than welcome. Thx
Thanks for this breakdown. I’m wondering your thoughts on wind resistance for both drones since you live in the bay and winds can pick up pretty high. How does each drone handle that in your opinion?
they handle the wind the same, the air 3 and mavic 3 are basically the same size. They really arent bothered much by the wind. I certainly would not get a mini series drone if you live in this area. The mini is basically a toy and sometimes on a windy day, you can barely go like 5 mph against the wind. So yeah basically you cant go wrong with the air or mavic drones.
@@LucizenVisuals thanks man… and yes bodega bay is the closest to me.
@@LucizenVisuals ended up picking up the air 3. Don’t regret it at all. Appreciate your video on this.
Did all this research… but will be curious if the 3s will hold a candle to the mavic 4pro coming out. My suspicion is they will want to keep the air series in the middle of the 3 series (mini, air & mav) so the mav 4 should… blow our socks off… just a guess.
Wow I wish this video came out a 1 year ago. The best of it's kind
Hey man! I got the air 2s and a c70 , and I find it hard to match the colors sometimes. Do you think with the air 3 is going to be easier or should I go for the Mavic 3 pro? Thanks.
tbh its going to be pretty similar in color science, the air 3 and mavic 3 pro. However, the M3P does have a more flat picture profile, the D-Log on the wide lens. So it may be easier to grade to the c70 log image. The 3x is the same on both drones with the D-Log M. I would try going back to the basics of color grading and matching or try out phantom Luts maybe? Im not sure if they have them for Canon but they do for Sony and DJI and the DJI ones look great, it really gives the drone image that cinematic pop and doesnt look so stale anymore.
Hi, thankyou for posting all your videos about the Inspire 2! Really like your enthusiasm and your experiance shines through. I'm in the UK, and work for a residential builder, we bought the Inspire 2 and a load of nice lenses two years ago for our videography team, however unfortunately we had to make the guys redundant at the start of the year, so now the Drone and all this cool equipment hasn't been used and no one to fly it! I'm a 3d visualiser by trade and always wanted to give it a go so I'm currently learning to do A2 CofC & GVC course. It's great to hear that you would still recommend using the Inspire 2, even if it is outdated and old - I let it Rip for the first time today and it's such a powerful beast! I totally get what you are saying about Co-partnering with the two controllers however, are there any tips for people like me who are starting out with this type of equipment, and want to capture some really nice footage whilst going at it solo? Thanks again!
thanks for the support man, i appreciate it. You can certainly get great shots while operating just yourself forsure man. If I were you and I wanted to improve my cinematic drone video, I would just try to get as familar with the drone as possible. What do I mean? I would fly it in open areas and just get used to all the basic drone controls until it becomes muscle memeory. Do orbits, practice flying around and doing different and creative movements. I always like to think of the drone as a flying Jib or crane and just practice smooth rises and descents mixed with other controls. I would defintely try to eventually incoporate at least movements at once to get dynamic shots. ie: rising up, going to the right and also tilting the camera down. In drone shots the tilt of the camera is very important to be smooth and in sync with your other movements to get a nice shot. just fly fly and fly so when you have a job to actually shoot something important, you wont be nervous about flying and you can just let loose. hope this helps!
great video
Hello~ How should I adjust the camera angle for the cinematic flight? What is your camera angle?
This was amazing. Thank you so much for this info. I’ve seen so many Komodo reviews but this one so far has been my favorite. Thank you.
34:49 - yeah , i think that sacrifice was a smart move
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
15:44 🤔why's your drone labeled on the side ??
How much did it cost you to build/make your FPV ? it looks clean and pretty dope
At least Go Pro gives Davinci Resolve the Log White Paper information so the log and Gammut can be transferred to the larger Davinci Wide Gammut Color space for color grading in Davinci color management or node based color space transformation. DJI refuses to answer this question so they shouldn’t put pro on the name of their drones as you can’t color grade professionally in a professional color grading software. Absolute joke
Nice one! thanks for taking me briefly to California!
Is it allowed to fly very close to people / swimming pool / beach in the Philippines. ????
Nope, must keep a distance of 30m from people.
Wow , I own a inspire 2 , and some of your comments really hurt!!! Am not a professional witch makes it worse, and if your a professional price should not be so important!!!
Wow , the ronin 4d does not use TB-51
What do you think air 3 vs mavic 3 classic? Which one would you pick?
air 3 all day, for that 3x lens, its a game changer. mavic 3 classic just has the one lens. the main wide camera on the air 3 is also very good as well. average person could not tell the difference between the air 3 main camera and mavic 3 classic.
Great Video, not long bought my inspire 2, use mavic 3 classic too. Struggling to use the I2 at the moment but this gave me the spur to get out and utilise it more!
Great comparison! I really enjoyed your review. I am new in the drone business, I just got my P-107 + the Air 3. and trying to learn as much as possible. Q: I would love to fly above the clouds. How are you able to fly above the clouds and still maintain a "visual line of sight" to comply with the regulations? Thank you!
You need better friends.
You should do a video on part 107 with all the different drones you use. What you will need the 107 for and what not. 👍
Thank you so much for your information and knowledge. I have learned a lot from your insight in a short period of time. You are awesome. Thanks!
Thank you for the information. May I suggest not finishing your sentences on high notes? I'm used to hearing that from girls but on guys it's a little off-putting. No disrespect. Just a little professional advice. 👍💪
Is the 12mp camera on the Air 3 a big no for professional images? Would i be correct in saying the Mavic 3 Pro can produce much better quality aimed towards professionals, whereas the Air 3 camera is more aimed for hobbyists or people who want to bring a drone on holidays?
i use the air 3 "professionally" on real estate photo shoots all the time. not too big of a difference between the m3pro. But to be clear im a cinematographer mostly, not a photographer
I don’t like the over sharpened look of the air 3. Just can’t unsee it
Not sure what camera settings and luts you are using to color grade your I3 footage but it looks really professional. Maybe I need to move away from the DJI rec. 709 conversion lut
thanks man, dont worry i was on the same boat. I use phantom Luts for DJI ronin 4d, i covered it in the video.
Would be nice if you gave some credits to Oscar
Absolute legend love your journey, I’ve been flying now for 5 years and saved enough for a decent upgrade (I’m patient and I love the Dji air 3s rumours) hope to meet you in the industry some day!
thanks man! hope we cross paths in the future, where you based at?
@@LucizenVisualsall they way out in the Emerald Isles, but lucky for me aerial photography and cinematography is almost non existent even though we hold some of the greatest landmarks on earth. I hope one day to bring my talent outside of Ireland but for now there’s too much potential here 😅
Nice video footage with some straight up thoughts ... Nice. once again. What LUTS did you use for these?
Lord!! you bought the inspire 3?? Holala!!! yIPPEE!! One of my dream drones!!!
Like 20-40k insane amount of money to spend on this equipment
Mantap bro salam kenal salam satu pilot 👍✌️
I'm so Jealous! Maybe someday, I'll be able to get one of these. Until then I'll just do what I can with my Mini 4 Pro.
I just ordered my Mini 4 Pro and I’m still waiting for it to show up. I fear this may be the beginning of a very expensive addiction 😂

Congrats on the Inspire 3. I love the smoothness and the camera on this drone. I'm looking forward to your future videos with this drone

Lucizzen- How r u?~Thanks~you uploaded super vlog, till next time-
im good man, thanks for tuning in! keep up the good drone stuff
Wonderful footage! I fly the Mavic 3 also and really agree with the smaller form factor I can get shots that my old Yuneec H Plus was very hard to fly in tight spaces. I mostly film trains with a lot of pacing shots which is so smooth and comfortable to do with the mavic 3.
nice man! i just got a bunch of amazing train footage here in the bay are for my next drone video. stay tuned for that, im gonna post it real soon!
@@LucizenVisuals Subscribed and looking forward to seeing the footage.
Great video. Thanks.
I’m about the buy the inspire 2! Is it worth it? I3 is way too expensive for the production company I’m starting
the inspire 2 is pretty good but tbh its getting pretty dated at this point. Unless you really want to do dual operator and really care about the inspire 2 codecs such as CinemaDNG etc.. I would reccomend the Mavic 3 Pro if you are starting a new production company. The m3p will be great for adding that extra drone flair for your videos.
I love the video I just bought the darwin fpv baby ape and see a 5 inch coming in the future this video really helps
