Nice installation video! Two questions: 1) A SIP paging adaptor was installed by IT at my store last week. SInce then, the sound quality of the background music has been 'thin sounding', with no bass, and a noticeable underlying 60Hz hum. Paging itself is still loud and clear. Is this this a miswiring issue? 2) Does VOIP/SIP paging allow in-store pages to be monitored/recorded remotely(by corporate, etc)?
can you do call forwarding to personal cellphones for when you are not in the office ?

Thanks. Very helpful. I have been using SPA112 for a few years. However, it suddenly gave me the response this morning that the limit of simultaneous calls has been exceeded. I am trying to fix the problem. Should I reset the system? Also, I tried to get my IP address, and it returns as 0.0.0.0 IS this right? Thanks.
hi! is there a way to 1 ) create templates for sms and mms? 2 ) send these sms or mms at a diffrent time, exemple send a reminder 24 h hours before an appointment exemple but create that text or mms as we are booking the appointment one week prior

Is it necessary for using a Butt Set to get the IP Address or more to it than that? Maybe explain what situations would really REQUIRE you use a Butt Set and nothing else as an alternative. Thanks and Be Well.
Super helpful, thanks! I had incorrectly logged in as cisco/cisco, but needed to log in as admin/admin. The Cisco support rep gave me bad info. You saved the day!
I tried it but it doesn't work... should I try to reset my ATA or just continue trying?
When I try and contact pager with sip phone it keeps saying busy. Any fixes or anyone else with that problem

Question. Can you use this ATA to connect my Comcast home phone service into my FreeBPX? Which port is the FXO and which one is the FSO?
Can this be used to link in to an analog alarm panel dialler that sends SMS txt messages to you, to now send them to you via VOIP, on Australian NBN system?
It is NEVER a good idea to use VoIP (from any provider) on an alarm panel.. Always recommend a Local Line to connect.
BTW: SMS text is only available from the Softphone App, not the ATA

Another question for you Doug. If the fax machine we are using is one that doesn't have the ability to dial out so we can acquire the IP, where else can we get it? Can we find it when we go to the ATA 192.168.15.1 and use that interface?
Yes, if you login to the ATA via the LAN interface (192.168.15.1) the Status page will give you the WAN IP address..
Quick question Doug - once the Ata is setup can other devices still ring on that extension or is that extension and DID now dedicated to the fax machine that you plug the Ata into?
The ATA is just another device on that particular Ext Number, you can still have up to 4 devices and "set" ring (or active) on any of the 4 devices.. and in a particular order.. For example, the ATA could be used for OUT only and 3 additional devices could RING on the incoming call. or vice versa.
