My nan is in this video, my mum noticed her playing with the children and it's lovely to see. She died 20 years ago, and I've got nothing of her as a young girl/woman. Thank you for posting this ❤
Patrica Murphy lived on king George close in the 50s and 60 s does anyone remember her
Anyone who knew Susan Mathews are Jennifer Monkton who lived on charford estate in the 50s and 60s
Anyone no patrica. Murphy back then
this is not memories of the place its memories of people you clearly just knew when you or if you ever lived there.
Excellent video x
I had a nightmare about Bromsgrove Bus drivers once..........!
Brilliant
Webbs used to be a mass of colour which made us gasp when we passed by, Now it's more like a supermarket with a huge car park.
My partners mum was born in Bromsgrove, and passed away last year. She was born in 1950, I'm trying to find people who knew her so I can do a memorial book for her son. Her name is Pamela Rudge.
It is so nice to see where my Mum and Dad grew up, they migrated to Australia with my sister and brother in 1970, I was born in Oz in 76. So I never got to see Bromsgrove and the places my parents lived and where mum and dads sister and brothers live to this day. My dad is John Willets, well his offical name is Charles John Willets, Mum is Janet Gamble, love to know if these names ring a bell. Thank you for sharing your family's home video..
So many of the people in these two films, born around the same time as me (1948), who have now passed on. A great reminder of what Bromsgrove was like 60 years ago. :) Thanks for posting it.
