Just leave the fat on let it render collect the juices
I add beer in the drip tray hehehe
appreciate this video man
Omg
What size brisket was that? Have same Masterbuilt I think (the smaller of the two).
why nit finish it in the smoker?
It's easier in the oven for me
wow !
hey there how are you old frend vincent sales and jon charfauros i miss agat eleemntary i miss the cafeteria he he he hehe just joking doo yu have extra boonie dog i bash to musch facebook
I like how you covered all the internal part with foil.
Thank you gata stay clean lol
How many pounds are left from the starting 12? After the trimming.
pro tip: place your meat on rack before you start your heater. place temp probe and position meats while smoker heats up, That way all you have to do is open the door and slide the rack in....minimize temp loss
pro tip: Add wood chips to tray before you start your heater.
Great looking my man
What temp?
275f°
I going to try the wood chip trick. Nice video!
Great upload! Did you flip your brisket during the cook?
When did you add the wood? I think I missed that part?
How long did take your brisket cook total
After you rest it overnight, How do you reheat without drying it out?
You can throw in the oven at 275f for an hour or two. Or you can reheat 350f for about 30 minutes if you don't want to wait.
Butcher paper wax side touching the meat or outside?
It's non wax butcher paper
Ok...I am going to try this. I will let you know how it turned out. Thank for this.
What temperature did you start off with?
Possible 200-225
I see that i am not the only one that has this grill and the firebox drawer is warped
I notice you are smoking both the point and the flat. Can you do a video on how to make burnt ends from the point using the Masterbuilt electric smoker?
Yeah , I have to get back into
Did all that work to use dollar tree bread for the sandwich😂🤦 no sides or cole slaw....dam...
Do you taste Morton’s does it ruin flavour
No you don't taste it at all
Awesome thanks pal I’m definitely trying it now
How much Morton’s do you need
A little goes a long way , I sprinkle about 2 tsps
Do you taste the Morton’s
Nope
Excellent job man
PRO TIP: Use an AMAZN SMOKER tube that uses pellets inside the electric smoker... You NEVER have to open the smoker the ENTIRE cook... the pellet smoke from the tube lasts for 8 hrs (12in tube). You'll NEVER EVER use chips or other method again.
Even though the owners manual says don’t use pellets?
@KevinMphotography if you use the tube you can use pellets
Thanks for sharing. Can you provide details on how to reheat the brisket after resting overnight (cooked). Thanks
This dude stayed up til 2am to cook a brisket 😂 why not start early in the morning instead of 12pm
I’ve never thought of leaving the chip loader sticking out. That actually sounds like a great idea. I must try this. Those ribs look absolutely amazing. Job well done sir.
What temp did you run , these look amazing
Does finishing in oven help maintain moisture?
Not really , it's just easier to throw in the oven versus cooking it in the smoker.
Can I use aluminum foil stet paper?
Yeah , definitely
Doing this today, thanks for the video Bud !
What temperature for smoker
250-275 f
Did you rinse the Morton salt off the meat before you cooked them? Think I’ll try your cooking process. Reg Dixon Deep South Marlow, Al. Thanks u’all
Nope , I left it on
Did you do fat cap up or down?
I do fat Cap down when cooking in the Masterbuilt because the heat comes from the bottom.
Do you add liquid to the water pan for this recipe? Appreciate your tips on developing a bark
Nope , the only time I add water is when I wrap and want to finish the cook
How long was it in the oven?
Do you need to turn the wood chip thing? Do the chips fall somewhere? I want to buy this for my son!
Yes , when you insert it , it'll be facing up and you turn it to add the ships into the tray
I just recently purchased a master built smoker. After watching your Dino rib video, I smoked some. My very first use of my new smoker. The Dino ribs came out perfect. So now I will be smoking the pork ribs as per your video instructions. Thanks man!
Why do you leave it in a cooler? Why not the fridge?
Legit
Hey I’m kind of a newbie in the bbq world and wanted to ask you a question. When you refill the wood tray, do you remove the black chips that are left inside the smoker or do you just leave them there? Smoked a brisket once and didn’t like the bark (could maybe be because I opened the smoker too much). Your channel is helping me a lot in my smoking journey, epic video!!!
I leave the black chips in just because some of them are usually still lit and they help smolder the news ones I put in. If your struggling to get good bark , try leaving the the chip loader out for 30 minutes at a time. That should allow enough air into the smoker to dry out the bark a little more and that should make the bark get darker. Do keep an eye on it though because that will ignite the chips and then you have a fire inside your smoker. Only do this every so often because the more you do this , more likely the chip burst into flames.
@@wiinoob64 thanks a lot bro will try!!
No problem, good luck !!
Worst brisket I’ve seen I can get better bark on my masterbilt and I get smoke rings
Not marinate it’s called sweat out
Damnnnn 💯💪🏾🔥🔥🔥
