***Shakes head**** Holy $#!t..... NEVER have i herd of something stupid such as an "Exhaust Flapper" Valve Until i owned a 2009 Jetta TDI. I wonder if there is any way to just Delete this without having to reprogram the car to avoid limp mode. I live in oklahoma and emissions is the last thing on their mind. I could run a stack out the hood with a deleted dpf filter and nobody would give a crap.
@@casualelectronicsissues1384 I deleted the fault and cleaned the dpf again. and I started using high rpm. I think it is malfunctioning in extremely economical driving. If it gives again, it is necessary to disassemble and clean. and adapt via vcds.
@@casualelectronicsissues1384 same thing here, would be on flat highway doing 70mph getting 40-43 mpg, and then like i hit a wall, down to 30-32 mpg. had the P048c code come on but it went away before i got it into a dealer so they said they couldn't do the fix under warranty. All this happened roughly a month after having to get a dealer regen due to the exhaust temp sensor malfunctioning
It's a commercial product but I believe you might be able to buy it online. It's made by United laboratories and us called "DRY SPRAY LUBRICANT AND RELEASE AGENT'
Does it run off straight voltage or pwm?
Thank you so much for the lubricating tips! On my car the exhaust flap has a weird rusty sound. I`ll try that
Are these easy to get at to clean ?

@@ozgurakbiyik850 How do you adapt via VCDS ? I mean , if i want to code the exhaust flap to use it as an exhaust cutout is it possible with vcds ?
Just replaced mine today. 09 with 104kmi
There is now a 120k warranty extension for this. Got the letter from VW in March 2013
You sound like Luke Bryan.. You should sing a song sometime :-)
where is this located in the exhuast system?
It is located between the two catalysts.

Could I ask the brand name of the spray lube you used ?
