Thank you for your comment! All BA first class seats are in a 1 2 1 configuration to my knowledge. There is what you describe in business class on the top deck on BA”s A380 and 787. And i agree does are weird but there is. privacy screen.

@CrisFirstWeFly the benefit of business class travel is the lie flat comfort for sleeping. Is it comfortable? Does it come with a mattress topper for added comfort? Is the linen decent quality? Were you given pajamas or slippers? Was the amenity bag acceptable? There are so many aspects of Business Class travel to consider, not just one food item that didn't meet your expectations. Where the staff attentive during the flight? Were snacks available in the galley?

Thank you for taking the time to explain what you are missing! I really appreciate your feedback. I can take more time to voice my thoughts on the seat and crew for instance I will take that onboard. It is however not my intention to become a hardcore airline reviewer or be someone to throw a 40 minute fit because a staff member looked at me the wrong way :) others do that far better than I could. I’m documenting my travels with my partner, I think we are fortunate to do and see certain things and I want to document that and I happen to be an aviation geek and know something about food, so that is a going to be a big part of it. It is a work in progress, I started a year ago the concept has changed a dozen times but slowly are getting there but it takes months for the videos to catch up. Do stick around or come back in the future and let me know how I’m doing!

powered out at 2855 ftm, nose down a to gain airspeed and hit 3945 ftm at 8000 feet (sorry bit of a nerd)

Flightradar24 you can search by flight-number and then it shows a list off all the flights by date. Then if you select the date you flew you get the data and route flow. However you need a subscription to see all the data like climb rate etc. Its around 30 euro’s for a years subscription. For me a handy tool to pull of data from flights flown (not a ad)

Thanks, I also enjoy the ongoings but especially on long flights I’m jealous of those who can fall asleep at the drop of a hat.

@@CrisFirstWeFly when we fly, my wife is asleep before take-off and wakes again as the wheels hit the ground, irrelevant of flight time. I cant get any sleep. Love your footage mate.

We sailed a couple of weeks later and we also turned anti clockwise out of the dock!

Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful resort! One of my favorites aswell!

I couldn’t answer that as there are so many airlines I have not flown on yet to give an honest answer. I can tell you some of my favorite meals though. I recently had a curry on a flight with Virgin Atlantic that was good, also a short rib on Delta that was great. One of the nicest meals I had was beef cheeks on British airways in first. Iberia served a vey nice meal on a flight from Madrid to London. Swiss is also one that I like but that was a couple of years ago.

Sorry to hear it comes across like that, not my intention there were a lot of positives and thank you for your comment. But I do want to be honest. Tickets are not cheap so I do think one can be critical and specific and not generalise.

They are investing 2 billion in the coming years was announced the other day. Its needed, it went from my favorite airport to one I don’t get on with.

I have large feet so those cubby hole feet rest in business class are not my favourite. These seats are open and you have more space than in business. It is worth it if you get a good deal.

Yes the tried there best fixing it but nothing worked, I always travel with a loaded Ipad just in case and this time it came in handy.

@@CrisFirstWeFly What a joke , spend thousands of pounds and the TV don't work, no boarding from the gate what's first class about it.

Things go bust, that happens. However structural flaws like the mess when boarding or disembarking when flying in first. Or serving special meals in first that are the same in all classes special meals just on a nicer plate I find far more offensive.

Thank you for your kind feedback. I hope to improve my trip reports in time, it is a learning process for me. I agree that British Airways seems to get more than its fair share of negativity online. I think both online and offline there is a big gap between what I experience and the others do and this isn’t just in regard’s with BA. I try to avoid blanket statements in my trip reports and take it one flight at a time and judge it like that, unless off course it is a corporate decision like Lufthansa not serving special meals in business class on inter European flights then I will share my oppinion.

Gosh Tony, 30-40 flights is a lot, if you don't mind my asking what industry are you in?

I’m planning to fly on Air France long haul business next year! To be fair the new Air France business class looks like the business class British airways introduced back in 2019. First seats are longer no foot cubby like all the modern 1-2-1 businessclass seats have with most airlines now.

That is wonderfull! It must have been an amazing experience to fly on Concorde for the first time back then.

I appreciate your feedback, however I was disappointed with Lufthansa for not having special meals in business class unlike other airlines on a 90 minute flight, leaving me with mixed feelings as they did other stuff very well. It was a Bombardier CRJ-900, It is a trip report, there is a fire on the motor way, and it is in 4K so please let me know what is misleading so I can avoid it in the future
