Fat Tire Wisconsin
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 31 ก.ค. 2019
formerly GravelBike Pirate, Fat Tire Wisconsin is the new name for this channel, Not only because I'm going to focus more on everyday riding as well adventure biking but because all of the bikes I'm interested in featuring and riding on fatter side of the spectrum. As always this channel will focus on the adventure bike lifestyle as well as commuting. I enjoy biking off the beaten path all road trails snow no matter what. Basically anything you can fit a bike down or drag it across or up. There is no such thing as a road closed sign when your on a bicycle. The bike is the perfect vehicle for discovery / exploration hands down! I have set up gravel and snow bike group rides in the past ( Mini GG 2013, Skull-N-Bones Gravel Challenge 2014-17 and working on 2020, The Beast 2014) I hope to do more of this in the future. Check out the channel and let me know what you think. Thanks for stopping in.

Great review.
Are they fragile or pretty solid?
Very solid. They are made of a thick lens material. You can tell they are made to last.
Thanks buddy ❤😊
Yikes I am just like you except i go on hikes and I hated the winter so much so I moved my family down to florida. Big respect you still are going out even in that cold on a bike!
The Kato gives you that ZZ Top look 🎸 🧔🏻 😎
Dope
Do you have a link to the antenna mount you used?
Similar to this but use at your own risk. IDK what the weight limit would be but it worked for me. a.co/d/9e5nq8b
Looking good, brother. Missing our motorcycle rides together.
Looks like a great time
It’s the simple things that make it fun.
@@gravelbikepirate5986 agreed. Being able to appreciate something as simple as a snack and a view is the key to happiness

that's an utter SOB moment. So great to share an educational element, though. Sorry you had to pay personally for this. Where's the best place to buy tools? Obviously, Walmart is NOT it! I bet lots of folk would like to know.
Probably on line or at a bike shop. There are tones of tools to get for working on bikes. A few of them are very specific and you have to really know what you need. I’m only about half way there spending wise. It’s easy to get the small stuff but the big stuff is expensive.
this is so educational! The chain stretch was amazing. Thanks for sharing! Your work reminds me of how guys repaired cars in the early 1960's. they used basic understanding and then used years of knowledge and a lot of art to fix problems. It is always impressive to see this kind of work being done!
The beard looks great!
Love to see your business getting healthy! Is there anything those of us who love you and your family can do to help? Let us know!! I love to see Flint helping. Hope he inherits the "family business" someday.
You are always so supportive. I'm so thankful for you.
Been loving the Bike Farmer too. Just started using the Dawn Powerwash and it works pretty good.
The Bike Farmer and a few other youtubers have been huge inspirations in me restarting the channel. Thank you for tuning in.
Hey man! That old Gary Fischer is in immaculate condition! What a cool cool ride. Great job!
It really was beautiful. I was honored to work on it.
Nice video, and yes--your "backyard" is beautiful! Hope the new business goes well and grows well!! Educational tidbits are always great to build interest. I didn't know about chain checking tools, so that was cool to learn.
Hell yeah dude! Where is that bike today? 😎
I rIde it all the time. It’s a 1 x 11 tubeless EDR.
Does the nosepiece on either model get in your way of vision?
It blocks the view of the front tire but after a while you don’t notice.
Nice video, but I was hoping to see how you dealt with the headlight wire that runs underneath the basket. My husband bought the same (medium) basket for his RadCity 5 plus, which has the same setup as your bike, but my instructions only include diagrams for the large and small baskets, not the medium.
What does the bike look like?
Nice dream bike right there. I used to tour continents with a slack chain on a cheap bike and the chain would not derail to my surprise! It was complete silent though. A slack chain offers almost zero loss in watts compared to a tensioned chain, so I liked it, perfect efficiency and silence.
Is this the pink prizm lenses?
No prizm road.
How long did it take from start to finish not counting your lunch-breaks.? Thanks for the video 👍
The lake is so placid and the river is just short of raging. Nice ride!
The lust in your eyes, man I m happy fr u but these are just worldly things That’s all
Awesome video!! I looked on the specialized website and saw the fenders. They have three sizes I want to mount 700x42c what size did you get for your bike? The sizes are 35mm 42mm and 52mm.
May I ask if you have a larger sized head by chance? The reason I ask is because I do and I would really like to purchase these but I'm nervous they won't fit me at all, I wear classic design double wide pit vipers, and also 100% speedcraft and hypercraft models too, but these are so futuristic but I'm worried they won't fit, could you possibly give me you're opinion on the sizing by chance?
I do have a pretty big head. If your interested I might be willing to sell these. I don’t wear them very much any way.
I have the Radrunner and I originally got it just for fun but now I've also been using it a lot instead of my car. So much more fun to do small commutes on the ebike than using a car.
what glasses is it?
Field jacket prism trail.
Great review! Thanks!
I like how they were inspired by Bruce Lee's character in the Green Hornet
Can you recommend a good bag / liner for this basket for grocery shopping?
I used to have those panniers. The bottom breaks open with those so be careful. Wondering if this basket could fit my cat.
Nice to see a 3. The flat 4 is a bore. I love my regenerative breaks. I can get about 100 miles a charge riding in pas 1-2, and breaking all the way down our Berkeley hills. If you set the rear brake loose you can regenerate with out any pad contact. I also removed the throttle all together. A sharpie cap will fit the conector. You can ride harder without a wiggly throttle in your hand. I dig your rig. Maybe I’ll make a video one day.
Great Review Bro! I’m a golfer and I love wearing cycling glasses while golfing. I’m debating between the two myself. The kato looks best while your riding! You look more like a Harley Man than a cyclist! Keep Up the good work and thanks for the review! God Bless Mate!
When you do grocery runs, how do you secure your bike in the parking lot? Thanks!
Considering those bars. What size width are you using?
So much hope in this video but you literally missed the instruction part of the video: where and how to put the cables, how to fix the light, etc. Thanks though
Do you have a link to the attachments you used to get the trailer connected?
These tough can’t wait to wear them when I run
How’s it going now? Still enjoying the bike? We are searching for the best cargo bike to buy. Blix, Radwagon, Flyer L885… lots of options
Thinking of pulling the trigger to get this today for my RRST and now I'm convinced! Thanks for the good review!!
Pretty cool, even a beard trim at the end. I bought a Rad city4 love it
how many mikes do you have in that garage?
10 today. :)
HEY.... biker dude... what are you doing ???? An informercial for Rad Wagon ???? Not gonna ask you if I can HELP you with this... LETS PRETENED .. you are not somone's paid schill... You get what you get cause it is what you got .. Cause it is all they have to bolt on to their factory designated bolt locations... Could have been motivated if you have half a shop Some tubing benders... arc or tig weld shit... sandblaster to prep the surface and powder coat or paint [ which will chip easily ] But you didn't.. and you don't... Was just gettin worse and worse the more you went on... Sorry for your loss man... I bought the flat rack for the front fork mount. That the big back rack bolts on to on the front... Am getting the " CABOOSE " FOR THE REAR And am LINING THE INTERIOR FT, BK, SIDES WITH 1/2 PLY... FOR INTERNAL STRENGTH and just wraping the exterior with a cool looking tarp boot ... With a tarp cover like TONNEAU TOP... over the " caboose " fame... No snaps.. just 1" velcro 4 bolts and that whole " caboose thing just lifts off It's pretty sturdy... it just hangs on the wall...
